Obituary for PARGAS

PARGAS, PATRICIO "PAT" Age 79, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, July 24, 2014, while surrounded by his loving family. He was a life long resident of Albuquerque; a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pat was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy; he was a member of American Legion Post #13; and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Damacio and Virginia Pargas; two sisters, Angie and Ginger. Pat is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary T. Pargas; his wonderful children, Patricia Brown and husband David, Ruth French and husband Chris, Manuel Pargas, and Isabel Armijo; his precious grandchildren, Madison, Dylan French, Manuel Irwin (wife Amanda), April (fiance Saleh), Chantel (fiance Isaac), Candice, Robert Armijo (fiancee Stephanie), Angelique Vigil (husband John) ; great-grandchildren, Evalise, Derris and Serenity. Also surviving are two sisters, Susie and Mellie; and many other relatives and friends. Pat will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, followed by the Service of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Casket Bearers will be Manuel Pargas, Robert Armijo, Chris French, Dylan French, John Vigil, and Mike Harlow.
