THOMPSON, DONALD L., JR. Age 52, born in Chelsea, MA on November 1, 1960, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Thompson, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; son, Keith; daughter-in-law, Brandy; grandson, Brandyn; mother, Juanita; brother, Randy; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; thirty-three nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. Donald was a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. He served his country for twenty-three years and is a veteran of Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. Donald was the recipient of several awards including the Meritorious Service Medal (Second Oak Leaf Cluster). Donald is dearly loved by his wife and family, and especially by his grandson, Brandyn. Those who worked with Donald knew him as knowledgeable professional who was always friendly and helpful to others. He was a wise and humble leader with a reputation for integrity, expertise, and a positive attitude. Donald is a man of strong faith in God and God's Word. TUTTLE, STEVEN KIM Age 58, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born and raised in Albuquerque. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Mary Jane Tuttle; son, Josh Tuttle; stepson, Gary Lees; brother, Larry A. Tuttle and his wife, Nora; and sister, Cheryl. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2:00pm at Mountain Christian Church in Cedar Crest.

WARNER, HERBERT D. Age 84, Retired Air Force Veteran, and computer programmer for APS went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2013. Herb had just taken a vacation trip with family when he suddenly took his last trip into eternity. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Theresa of 60 years and his daughter Dianne McClure. At his passing he was surrounded by his daughters Barbara J. Ortega, Debby K. Dolt; grandchildren John Dolt, Theresa Martinez Husband Adrian Martinez, and Cameron Encinias. He will be greatly missed by family and friends and his dedicated friend Alma Merck. A memorial celebrating Herb's life will be held on July 11th from 11:00am - 2:00pm with burial SFNC on July 12th at 11:15am. Arrangements by Riverside, 225 San Mateo NE.

ZIPPERIAN, H. AGNES Passed away in the early hours of 6 July 2013 of consequences of old age, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Agnes was born 10 August 1920 in Great Falls, Cascade, Montana to Joseph Frank and Kestina Caroline (Sjostrom) Steiner. She was the second of four children, all of whom preceded her in death. Agnes was married 1 April 1939 in Ft. Benton, Montana to Edmund Paul Zipperian. She and Ed were the proud parents of Joanna Paulette, Elaine Clare and Thomas Edmund Zipperian (Bobbie Mack). They raised their children in Great Falls and in Helena, Montana, and watched them graduate from college. Agnes dearly loved her three granddaughters, Megan Zipperian, Abbey (Ben) Wiltbank, and Heidi (Andrew) Harvey; and her 3 great- grandchildren, Kyndal Wiltbank, Devin Wiltbank and Ryan Harvey. They loved their Gigi, and will miss her, as will many beloved nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law, Bernice Steiner. Agnes graduated from Great Falls High School at age 16 and commenced a long and distinguished working career. She worked in various financial and executive positions for the Federal Housing Administration, the Building Material Dealers Association & Montana Retail Lumberman's Service, Inc., Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Governor's Office for the State of Montana. When Agnes retired in 1985, she was Clearinghouse Manager for the Montana State Office of Budget & Planning. Agnes was always an active volunteer for the Catholic Women, the Salvation Army and was a member of the Soroptimist International of America, a benevolent woman's business and professional organization for over 50 years. She was honored by the Heritage Soroptimist Club of Helena, Montana. After retiring, she provided office support for the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helen and was on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army in Helena. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Ed in 1978, after 39 years of marriage; by her parents (1965 and 1980); her sister, Alice Dea in 2010; and her brothers, Raymond Steiner in 1999 and Howard Steiner in 2000 and one sister-in-law. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. The family wishes any donations to be made to any organization supporting women and women's education, or the Salvation Army. BENAVIDEZ, EMELINA J. Loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 58. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Elijoh and Edwina Sanchez. Emelina adored her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed taking care of her yard watering and planting; loved animals but most off all spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clarence Sanchez and Roger Sanchez. Emelina is survived by loving husband Pat Benavidez; child Lawrence Trujillo and wife May Trujillo; her grandchildren Elijah Trujillo and Noah Trujillo; and numerous relatives and friends. Emelina will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 8:15 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am at St. Anne Parish, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. DURAN, ELOUISE C. of Questa, NM, passed away July 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Ortega; infant sister, Marthita Ortega; and brother, Norbert Ortega. She is survived by her husband, Damian Duran; her three sons, John Duran, Ruben Duran (Christine), Eddie Duran; her two granddaughters, Alexandra Duran, Nicole Duran; brother, Nick Ortega (Martha); sisters, Sister Neomi Ortega and Mary Martinez; along with many nieces and nephews. HAMMONDS, JAMES JR. RETIRED SMSGT USAF James Hammonds Jr. died of natural causes in Vancouver, Washington on June 30, 2013. James was born on April 22, 1929 in Huntsville, Alabama and has lived the past three years in Vancouver though his longest place of residence was Albuquerque, New Mexico for more than 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Belle; son, Eric; daughter Beryl Kay; two sisters, Lucille and Helen; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Dr. Karl Hammonds, Sr. His chapel service and viewing was performed on July 8, 2013 at 10:00am at French Mortuary in Albuquerque and was followed by his burial at 1:30pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
