 BENAVIDEZ, EMELINA J. Loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 58. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Elijoh and Edwina Sanchez. Emelina adored her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed taking care of her yard watering and planting; loved animals but most off all spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clarence Sanchez and Roger Sanchez. Emelina is survived by loving husband Pat Benavidez; child Lawrence Trujillo and wife May Trujillo; her grandchildren Elijah Trujillo and Noah Trujillo; and numerous relatives and friends. Emelina will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 8:15 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am at St. Anne Parish, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
