SHIVER, JAMES BURNEY SR. Age 76, of Stanley, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, July 6, 2013. James was born November 6, 1936 in Frisco City, AL to John Jacob and Retha (Sawyer) Shiver. James has lived in New Mexico since 1965 having previously lived in Mobile, AL. He married Nancy Zavichas, his loving wife of thirty-five years, on December 9, 1977 in Albuquerque. James was an Air Force Veteran and a well-respected businessman and General Contractor. He proudly served on the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Board of Directors for 37 years and was an avid pilot. James was preceded in death by his parents John and Retha Shiver and his brother John Jacob Shiver Jr. He is survived by his wife Nancy Shiver of Stanley; sons James Burney Shiver Jr. and his wife Jada and Jacob Brandon Shiver and his wife Clarissa both of Stanley; daughter Retha Eckard of McIntosh; sister Mavis Hardy and her husband Bob of Birmingham, AL; and five grandchildren McKinzee Shiver, James Barrett Shiver, Bristol Shiver, Brandi Eckard and Shari Eckard. There will be a Funeral service on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 10:00am at Stanley Union Church in Stanley, NM with Bob Hardy, John Shiver and John Free officiating. Pallbearers will be Bruce Hale, Gary Bennett, Bobby Jackson, William Miles Shiver III, James B. Shiver Jr. and Jacob B. Shiver. Honorary pallbearers will be The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Board of Directors, Eric Gibson, and Richard Bills. On Wednesday, July 17, 2013 there will be a viewing from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Frisco City, AL. A service will follow at 1:00pm at the church with the burial following the service at Shiloh Cemetery. THOMPSON, DONALD L., JR. Age 52, born in Chelsea, MA on November 1, 1960, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald L. Thompson, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; son, Keith; daughter-in-law, Brandy; grandson, Brandyn; mother, Juanita; brother, Randy; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; thirty-three nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews. Donald was a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. He served his country for twenty-three years and is a veteran of Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. Donald was the recipient of several awards including the Meritorious Service Medal (Second Oak Leaf Cluster). Donald is dearly loved by his wife and family, and especially by his grandson, Brandyn. Those who worked with Donald knew him as knowledgeable professional who was always friendly and helpful to others. He was a wise and humble leader with a reputation for integrity, expertise, and a positive attitude. Donald is a man of strong faith in God and God's Word. WILLOCK-MARTINEZ, LISA age 49, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013. Lisa was a graduate of Los Lunas High School, Class of 1982. Lisa was a beautiful and vibrant woman who's life ended to soon. She is survived by her children, Dotty and Dustin Whitley, Clarissa Griego and fiancee Joshua Baca, and her youngest daughter, Johnna Martinez. She was known to her four grandchildren, Damion, Donovan, and Carissa Whitley and Riley Baca, as Lala. She is also survived by her siblings, Kathy and Gordy Frank, and Denise Sanchez; as well as her nieces and nephew: Kimmy and Paco Schauweker, Kerri Noumi, Billy and Yolanda Noumi, Billie Jo Hubbs, Janelle Hubbs and fiancee Jose Valdez, Megan and Josh Aragon, and Michelle Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothea Bennett, father William J Willock, step-father John J Bennett, her sister Linda Willock, and many loving grandparents. Her daughters, family, and extended family will miss her greatly. Services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5311 Phoenix Avenue NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87110. Reception to follow.

BENAVIDEZ, EMELINA J. Loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister aunt and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 58. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Elijio and Edwina Sanchez. Emelina adored her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed taking care of her yard watering and planting; loved animals but most off all spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers Clarence Sanchez and Roger Sanchez. Emelina is survived by loving husband Pat Benavidez; child Lawrence Trujillo and wife Amy Trujillo; grandchildren Elijah Trujillo and Noah Trujillo; brother Ambrose Sanchez and wife Frances; her 2 beloved Chihuahuas Hooch and Myla; and numerous relatives and friends. Emelina will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 8:15 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am at St. Anne Parish, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. CAMP, BRIAN J. Our hearts are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our son Brian, age 37, on Friday, June 28, 2013. He was a big hearted and loving man. Anyone who knew him would attest to his great and true value as a father, son, brother and friend. CANDELARIA, DELFINO SR. died July 9th, 2013 at the age of 95. He died peacefully in his sleep under the care of his eldest daughter, Anna Carroll whom was a gracious and loving caregiver to her father for 23 years. He was born April 27th, 1918 and was a decorated WWII veteran. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Candelaria, and son, Delfinio Candelaria Jr. He is survived by his four children, Richard Candelaria, Joe Candelaria, Anna Carroll, Mable Kedge; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside service will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102, on Saturday, July 13th at 11:30 am.

CLAIR, MARY JANE (RUPLEY) went to be with the Lord, July 2, 2013 in El Paso, TX, to be reunited with those who preceded her. It was just a week before her 92nd birthday. Mom had been struggling with health issues for a number of years, but now she is free and healed as our Savior and our Father God had promised. Praise the Lord for His Grace! Mary Clair was born in Grand Island, NE on July 11, 1921 to Fred and Ida Christensen (deceased). Mary lived in a number of towns, including McCool Junction and North Platte, NE; Boulder, CO; El Paso, TX; Albuquerque, NM and returned to El Paso during the last couple of years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wilford "Bill" Clair, son James Rupley and her brother Fred Christensen. Mary is survived by her sister Betty (husband Archie), son John Rupley (daughter-in-law Janet) Albuquerque; daughter-in-law Patty Jo (Rupley) Blobner, El Paso; grandsons Jason Rupley (Brynn); Casey Rupley (Dawn); Joshua Rupley; Jamey Rupley (Claudia) and Jeff Rupley (Donna); great-grandchildren Ashley, Shelby, Jade, Myah and Jacob; nieces and nephews Russell and Janet Adams; Dave and Becky Adams; Lt. Col. DIAZ, ARNULFO ANDY Age 50, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013. He was born on November 23, 1962. He graduated from Del Norte High School he served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed sports, football games, reading and music. Arnulfo was a very caring, kind and loving person. He was preceded in death by his, father, Felix V. Diaz; grandparents Rodolfo and Julia C. Jasso. Arnulfo is survived by parents, Virginia and Lee E. Chavez, companion, Evelyn Cordova; son, Joshua A.
