STOMP, SUZANNE EMILY (OUR PEANUT) was granted her golden angel wings on June 12, 2013, after a lifelong challenge resulting from a complex congenital heart defect. She went to be with the Lord in the arms of her parents at the time of her death. Suzanne (aka "nails") was the strongest and toughest person we have ever met. Even though she spent many days battling against the odds, it seemed she was always more concerned with the well being of those around her, especially her twin sister Lindsay. Suzanne always referred to Lindsay as "my best friend ever had." Suzanne and her sister Lindsay joined us prematurely on September 19, 2005 in Albuquerque, NM, where her battle against the odds began. From that day forward, we knew that we were merely along for the ride, as Suzanne would pilot us on a journey that would change our lives forever. The value of Suzanne's contribution to this world cannot be measured in how long she lived, but more from the immense love she brought to those she came in contact with each and every day. Throughout her short life, she touched so many people in such a myriad of ways. Ranging from her sweet disposition to her beautiful smile and we can't leave out her "HUGS" she was capable of turning any day into a great day in an instant. We can't tell you how many times we heard from total strangers that Suzanne "made their day" with her sweet, caring personality. Suzanne's death reminds us to celebrate life every day, as it is a precious gift that can be taken away in an instant. We know that we must celebrate her life and treasure the moments we spent in her presence because she was truly a gift and we were honored to be her parents and share in her journey. We will miss you every day for the rest of our lives. Suzanne most enjoyed spending time playing with her sister Lindsay. When not playing with Lindsay, she loved reading her many sets of flash cards, learning to read and write on her iPad, playing with Chunk and Spud, watching Disney channel, painting, eating soupa loupa, and spending time with her friends at school. Suzanne was fortunate enough to visit Disneyworld from a wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico. At Disneyworld she met her favorite Disney characters, Minnie Mouse, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider and everyday was "the best day ever had." She also enjoyed many other activities including horse therapy with her favorite horse Nellie, swim lessons, adaptive taekwondo or just going to the park to play on the jungle gym. Suzanne is survived by her loving parents, Shawn and Stefanie Stomp of Albuquerque; her twin sister Lindsay Stomp; her paternal grandparents Milt and Carol Stomp of Albuquerque; her maternal grandparents George and Karin Duda of Albuquerque; and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 6:00-7:30 p.m. at FRENCH- Wyoming. Mass will be celebrated on June 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at John XXlll Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Make a Wish Foundation of New Mexico, 144 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, www.wishnm.org Or: Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network, RGDSN P.O. WATSON,FARRELL LANE age 82, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2013, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Farrell was born at the old St. Mary's Hospital in Roswell on November 24, 1930. His parents, Albert and Clara Watson, operated a dairy at the East Grand Plains, which Albert later converted to a cattle feed lot. Life on the farm was hard work, but he remembered sledding behind a pickup truck on icy dirt roads, stealing away on his brother's motor scooter into town, and taking milk to German POWs who toiled on their farm during World War II. His senior trip from Roswell High School was a tour of France, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and England, and the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. After graduating in 1949, he attended ENMU for a year, and married JoAnn Buck in 1950. Farrell then attended NMSU for another year before managing his father's high-country cattle ranch near Fort Stanton, where he and JoAnn enjoyed ranching and riding horses. After his father sold the ranch in 1958, Farrell first worked for the Roswell Case tractor dealership, then for General Dynamics on an Atlas missile site outside Walker AFB. He returned to ENMU at Portales in 1963, and made his way through college as a dorm parent while joining Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity. Farrell received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, in 1967, so he went back to Roswell as the accountant for his father's feed lot until it closed in 1980. He married Kitty Woody in 1969, and the two enjoyed playing bridge with friends and traveling to such exotic locations as Morocco until she passed away in 1998. Shortly after his election as a city councilor in 1980, Farrell resigned the post to become Assistant City Clerk, then moved to the Purchasing Department, where he later became the Director of Purchasing. Farrell so enjoyed gardening and raising animal stock that when he retired from the city in 1999, he pursued his farming vision at a property the family lovingly called "The South Ten." And with his friend Lea Rohr-Fraser, he enjoyed weaving, traveling, and painting. After suffering from health problems, he moved to the Albuquerque area in 2011 to be closer to family. Farrell is survived by his children, Steve (and Brooke) of Albuquerque; Julie (and Holly) of Corrales; and Michael (and Monica; and granddaughters Alyssa and Michaela of Oxnard, California; stepchildren Pam (and Bill) Bonahoom; and Ken (and Vicki) Woody; all of Albuquerque; brother Donald (and Marilyn) of New Zealand; sister Barbara (and Bill) Gibson of Houston, Texas; aunt Dusty Reid of Arizona; numerous cousins of the Watson and Middleton clans, especially Janice Southard Burk and Martha Jo Corn. The family is grateful to many people: in Houston, the staff of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; in Roswell, Tom Dunlap, Roger Willmon, Dr. Evan Nelson, the staff at ENMMC, Drs. Dany El-Sayah and Edgard Badine and the staff at Kymera Cancer Center, and the staff at Villa del Rey Retirement Inn and Assisted Living; in Albuquerque, Drs. Michael Magee and Richard Giudice, Willow Durand CNP, Ralph Zych, P.A.-C., and Dr. Samuel Goldman; and finally, Jennifer Riggs, Lou Ella Scott, RN, and the staff at Sandia Springs Emeritus Senior Living Retirement Community in Rio Rancho, Hospice Compassus, and Riverside Funeral Home. Farrell liked to tease and joke; was very generous (sometimes to a fault); and had much compassion for animals, especially his horses and the stray cats who found their way to the South Ten. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral or memorial service will occur. You may donate "in memory of Farrell Watson" to Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202 or www.heifer.org or the rescue operation C.A.T.s, c/o Mary McGee, P.O. Box 3216, Roswell, NM 88202. You may leave a remembrance at www.riversidefunerals.com or contact the Watson Family at P.O. Box 40410, Albuquerque NM, 87196.

WOMACK, ROSALIND OGDEN born June, 1949, died June, 2013, in her own home in Albuquerque. Rosalind lived with equanimity and grace during the natural course of a brief terminal illness. Her dying was free of the complicating preoccupations of intrusive life-prolonging medical interventions. With the support of family and friends she decided instead to enjoy living as best she could free of the morbidities of a medically prolonged dying. Her decision not to pursue life-prolonging treatment in the face of an incurable cancer was based on a combination of no-nonsense realistic calculation and a morally principled resolve. She did not want to waste the precious resources of her family or society pursuing futile, expensive and distracting treatments. She used her precious time to focus on being in love together with her family and friends. Roz showed us all how to practice the courageous art of dying. Rosalind was fully experienced with the ins and outs of the medical system having trained as a nurse and worked for 40 years in Medicare and Medicaid utilization review; in medical staff quality assurance at the old Lovelace Hospital and as a cytotechnologist with Tri-Core Reference Labs. As a patient she survived multiple breast cancer treatments and a total hip replacement. With intelligence and competence she did what she could to help medicine do better at what it does well, and to stop doing so much harm, especially at the end of life. She was a restorative Hatha Yoga teacher who helped many older and disabled people to manage stress and feel better about living. Roz took great pleasure in the cooking, serving and enjoyment of good food with others, and she always had sewing projects making clothes for her nieces and their dolls. She taught cooking, sewing and the art of gracious, stylish living to her nieces, grandnieces and to their friends. Roz loved traveling with her husband to world wide exotic places and continued planning trips and traveling until a few months before her death. Roz completed her 'bucket list' in grand style. Rosalind believed it was her sacred duty to be responsible for making her living and for being attentive to and accomplishing her own dying. She arranged her affairs to be able to leave behind a greater wealth that could be invested anew by the coming generations. Roz was deeply committed to the upbringing and well-being of her beloved nieces and helped them to become the accomplished and loving ladies they are today. Rosalind was a wise and joyful Auntie, a loving generous wife, a faithful devoted daughter, niece and sister, and a fun-loving loyal friend. Rosalind O. Womack was the daughter of Russell O. Womack Jr. and Rose Lee Stewart Womack. She is survived by her husband Laurence T. Cotter; her sister Heather Lee Womack Gaume and her husband Arthur Norm Gaume; by her brother Russell O. Womack III and his wife, Charlene Hefner Womack; by her nieces Letisha Womack, Shanasi Womack Wade and her husband Chuck Wade, Camille Gaume Snyder and her husband David Snyder, Alethea Gaume Stone and her husband Tim Stone, and Brittany Gaume and her partner Colin Evans, and by grandnephews Max and Aiden Wade, and grandnieces Sara Anne Snyder, Caroline Rose Snyder, Willhelmina Womack and Eliza Stone. It is requested that, donations be made to worthy charities. Rosalind dearly loved a generous heart. Rosalind's Memorial Service is planned for July 12, 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Reception to follow at her home.
