KELLER, RONALD age 73, a long-time resident of Robie Creek, Idaho went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013. Ron was born on October 12, 1939 in New York City to Albert and Louise Keller. The family moved to Ohio in 1941 and then migrated to Albuquerque in 1949 and made this their almost permanent home. After Ron graduated from Highland High School and at age 17 joined the US Navy. When he completed his tour of duty in 1961 he returned to Albuquerque where he began working with Mountain Bell. In 1973 he met the love of his life, Sally Christopherson, who loved animals and all things cowboy. Ron requested a transfer and followed family to Idaho. Ron and Sally arrived in Boise in 1976 and were married shortly thereafter with close family in attendance. Their loving son, Kris Keller, was born in January of 1977. Ron retired early from AT&T so that he could spend time with Sally in Robie Creek and to take care of his many animals. He remained active long after retirement doing snow removal, volunteering with the Robie Creek Fire Department and Irrigation water master, plus numerous other activities to supplant his time. Ron and Sally loved music and together they entertained professionally and casually in the Boise and Robie Creek area on numerous occasions. Their home was always open to friends and family. Ron is survived by his son, Kris Keller of Robie Creek and his fiancee Angie Weissert of St. Louis; grandsons, Justin Custer and Brandon Custer; sisters Margie Robran, Joan Caldwell, Gail Keller, Diane Miller; and one brother David Keller and wife Evi. He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews and special friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sally, daughter Leslie Custer, son Dean Keller, brothers Richard Keller and Lani Keller all of whom he loved and missed so very much. Ronnie or "Cowboy" as he was known too many, was a very giving and fun loving person. He always took time to have fun or just sit and visit. You left Ron's side always feeling better because you spent time with him. Ron's passing will leave a great void to all those that knew him. We will miss you very much Cowboy! Cremation has taken place and services were held at the Robie Creek Park on Wednesday, June 5 at 7:00 pm.

KERR, VERNON EARL "HANK" Age 86, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at home after many months on hospice care. His wife and daughters were by his side. He was born in November, 1926, Hank graduated from Albuquerque High School and received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering from the University of New Mexico. He married Barbara Lee Weaver in 1955 and they enjoyed nearly 58 years together. Hank was an engineer with Sandia National Laboratories for 36 years, and traveled to and from the Mercury test site in Nevada for a majority of these years. He was also a retired army major and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Hank was a man of many talents. His daughters and granddaughter have fond memories of the amazing backyard playhouse and the family cabin, both of which he built. He taught himself how to make beautiful silver jewelry, enjoyed fishing and gardening, and was a legendary cook. Hank had a wonderful sense of humor, which he shared right up to the end of his life. Hank was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Thorne and Gladys Marsh Kerr, and his siblings, Dorothy Waite, Jack Kerr, and Patricia Anderson. Hank leaves behind his wife, Barbara; his two daughters, Lisa A. Kerr of Albuquerque and Valerie R. Kerr of Farmington, and his granddaughter, Claire Dalby. He also leaves his sisters, Marilyn (John) DeWitt, Carol (Bob) Bellor, and Shirley (Bill) Phillips, as well as several nephews and nieces. Thanks to the dedicated people at Heartland Hospice and our caregivers Brittany Rosales, and LaDawna Kidder for their compassionate and loving care. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. LITTLE, RONALD E. (RON) 1952-2013 age 60, a resident of Belen, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer, a rare, aggressive cancer diagnosed in March 2013. Ron was born in Seymour, Indiana and raised in Blue Island, IL, and at age 15 moved to Chamblee, GA. Ron graduated in 1970 from Sequoia High School, Doraville, GA and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1970 as a Security Policeman. He retired in 1994 after 24 years of honorable service recognized by the award of the Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Vietnam Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with device. After retiring from active duty Air Force service, Ron began his 19 year career as a manager with Lockheed Martin for the Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support at the 58th Special Operations Wing, Kirtland AFB. Ron truly enjoyed his job and was extremely proud of the dedicated team of Site Support professionals he led as Chief of Security, Facilities, and Environmental Safety and Health. For his entire career with Lockheed, he continued in his nation's service by supporting the critical training of our country's special operations aircrews. Ron was the "Go To" person for any question concerning security or facilities. His always present smile and let's find a way to make it happen attitude was well known across the entire Kirtland AFB community for more than thirty years. Ron had a passion for classic rock music, all sports, especially football, an Alabama Crimson Tide fan since childhood and, his clocks. He always said "time was important." He also loved running and his hobby farm because he always had the need for "somethin2do." He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Grace Little; and his son, Jason Little. Ron is survived by his best friend and wife of 22 years, Theresa; daughter, Jennifer Little of Cedar City, UT; son, G.J. Mullins and Vanessa Aragon of Belen; daughter-in-law, Elyssa Baca of Belen; four granddaughters, Angeleea, Jaylee, and Andilee Bitner of Cedar City, UT, Haleigh Little of Belen; sisters, Jeanette Miller and husband, Jim of Conyers, GA and Trish Thurman and husband, Chris of Monticello, GA; uncle and aunt, Fred and Pat Little of Mesa, AZ; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many caring friends. LOVE, PATRICK JAMES Age 29, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. Patrick was preceded in death by uncles Gene A. Summers Sr. and Derrick Smith. He is survived by his father James W. Love Jr.; mother Jacqueline E. Love; sister Bridgette M. Love; brother Christopher A. Love; uncles William Love and wife Kim, Donald A. MARTINEZ, CATALINO "CAT" Age 59, passed away on June 6, 2013. Cat leaves behind his three children, Tony Contreras, Jessica Flores and husband Sipriano, and Anthony Martinez; six beautiful grandchildren; mother Stella; brother Larry; sisters Rosemary and Ana; as well as countless aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by father Catalino Martinez Sr., grandparents Eva and Tony Sedillo and brother Raymond. Cat was an accomplished guitarist playing with such bands as Musicos de Christo, recording with Sound FX and helping to form The Cuervo Band. Cat was a great friend to all and will truly be missed. MCDONALD, JOSEPH P. Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the age of 68. He peacefully passed in his home. He was born in St. Joseph MO to his surviving mother, Iva Stuppy and father, Joseph George McDonald. He proudly served our great Nation in the US Army in the early 1960's. He resided for many years in San Diego, CA until he moved to Albuquerque with his family in 1980. Joe McDonald was a very successful local business owner for 25 years. He founded New Mexico PET & VET Supply with one store in 1980 and grew over the next 20 years to eight locations in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Colorado Springs. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary V. McDonald; four children and their spouses, Thomas and Veronica McDonald; Elizabeth Lightner; Michelle and Michael Dun; and Rudy and Patricia McDonald; mother, Iva Stuppy of San Diego, CA; brother, Norman McDonald and spouse, Margaret of Belen; sister, Margaret Miller of San Diego, CA; 11 grandchildren, Amanda McDoanld, Joey McDonald, Victoria Whitten, Youtonnia Hess, Rachel Benavidez, Thomas Lightner, Lauren and Michael Dunn, Autumn and Emma McDonald; five great-grandchildren, Madison Hess; Brent Hess; Rosealle Hess; James Benavidez; Lilliana Whitten; and the newest baby to join the McDonald clan is a boy and will be with us very soon! MCKINNEY, MARY NELL LANCASTER Mary Nell died on June 14, 2013 at the grand old age of 90 in her home in Albuquerque NM, with family present. She was born August 18, 1922 in Albuquerque, NM and had one older sibling, Donald Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, T. William McKinney. She is survived by sons, Jeff McKinney and his wife Cathy; Thomas W. McKinney and his wife Gail; Mark McKinney; Patrick McKinney and his wife Valerie; grandchildren, Jessica Shackelford and her husband David; Travis McKinney; Elizabeth Nunez and her husband Francisco; TJ McKinney; Alexandra McKinney; and Luke McKinney; great grandchildren, Sebastian and Sabrina Nunez. As a mother of four busy boys she was involved in PTAs, Cub Scouts, Little League, Babe Ruth and volunteered in fundraisers and served as room Mother. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, ceramics, fishing with her husband, and she established "Can't Be Home for Christmas" for the Albuquerque Fire Department. Lately, she enjoyed the Sanado Women's Club and her "Dutch Lunch Bunch" from the Cottonwood neighborhood where she resided. She was blessed with countless friends, some who've preceded her in death as well as some who now are left here, missing her. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at French Wyoming Chapel. MICKLEVITZ, DALE ALAN formerly of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born on April 27, 1949 in Elgin, Illinois to Melvin and Barbara Micklevitz. He is survived by his wife, Deanna; mother, Barbara; sons, Christopher and Anthony Micklevitz; daughter, Jennifer (Clinton) Bach; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; twin brother, David (Ginny) Micklevitz; sister, Lori Schreiber; along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Dale graduated from Sandia High School in 1967 and UNM in 1972. He taught at the old Albuquerque High for a couple of years. He served in The new Mexico Air National Guard and was a member of America Legion and B.F.O.E. He was employed by the F.A.A. as an Air Traffic Control Specialist for 35 years, retiring in 2006. H was preceded in death by his father, Melvin; grandparents, George and Lorraine Nickel, and Albert and Rosa Micklevitz; also by his mother and father-in-law, Dean and Maxine Gottula. He enjoyed being with family, woodworking, jewelry making, fishing, golf and was an avid pool player. He is loved by many and will be missed greatly.
