SANDERS, JERALD "JERRY" L. February 25, 1947 ~ May 28, 2013 Delta County resident, Jerry L. Sanders, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2013, at his residence in Eckert, Colorado. He was 66. A memorial service honoring Jerry's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Eckert Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jo DeVinny presiding. Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy Carlson-Sanders of Eckert; mother, Clois Sanders of Albuquerque, NM; two sons, Jeremy Sanders and wife Ashley of Edmond, OK; and Aaron Sanders of Albuquerque, NM; one step-son, Eric Carlson of Loma, CO; one step-daughter, Cynthia Bade and husband Jim of Minnesota; three brothers: Jim Sanders of Denver, CO; John Sanders and wife Wanda of Dumas, TX; and Joe Sanders and wife Jude of Littleton, CO. He is further survived by four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; his beloved niece Brenda; and three nephews: Ryan, Jordan and Keith. Jerry was preceded in death by his father. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Jerry's memory to the Eckert Presbyterian Church Refurbishing Fund, P.O. Box 7, Eckert, CO 81418.
