ARAGON -- PRISCILLA L. Mrs. Priscilla L. Aragon, 85, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on March 18, 2007. Mrs. Aragon was preceded in death by her husband, C. Victor Aragon with whom she enjoyed 52 years of blissful marriage. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Luisito, and Juan Leyba. Mrs. Aragon is survived by her daughter, Vivian Debbie Delgado, who was her primary caregiver until the end; her son, Ruben V. Aragon; and a nephew, Chris Leyba who she raised in his early years; three grandchildren, Luke Martinez, Angelica Delgado, and Susan Gonzales; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers also survive her. The family wants to thank her primary caregivers, Dennis and Theresa Leyba as well as their children, who lovingly and unselfishly cared for her during the last few months of her life. Priscilla was born in Mogollon, NM, the daughter of a gold miner, Luis Leyba and his wife, Maria S. Leyba. She moved to Albuquerque as a young child and had been a life-long resident of Albuquerque. Priscilla was a graduate of Albuquerque High School, and was one of the early female employees of Sandia Base, where she worked as a secretary after graduating from Western Business College. After raising her children, she had a long career as an administrative assistant in the Engineering Department at AT & T. She played the violin since high school on into her seventies, as well as the harmonica which she played into her eighties. She was a very artistic and had a wonderful sense of humor that will always be remembered. She was the strength of our family and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Aragon was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Aragon will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Eddie Blea. Final visitation will be Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. BEERS -- Ronald Paul Beers, 56, of Albuquerque, born in Santa Fe on June 25, 1950, passed away Monday, March 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife and partner of 25 years, Kitty Ward-Beers; mother, Wilma Beers-Page; eldest daughter, Bonnie Murphy; younger daughter, Dr. Nicole Scally; son, Shane Beers; step-sons, Brian and Chris Ward; son-in-law, David Murphy; brother, Bobby Bogard; sister, Lori Beers-Ashoo; four beautiful grandchildren; and three beautiful step-grandchildren. There will be two Services to commemorate Ron's life. The First Service will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel in Albuquerque, for those family and friends who are unable to travel to Cimarron. There will be a Celebration of his life on Friday, March 23, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at the St. James Hotel, on 17th and Collison, located on NM 21 about a half mile south of the intersection with NM 64 in Cimarron, NM. A Second Service will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at the outdoor Philmont Ranch Chapel, or at the Philmont Ranch Assembly Hall in case of inclement weather. To reach the Philmont Ranch Chapel from the St. James Hotel in Cimarron, head Northwest on 10TH ST / US-64 toward N Euclid Ave. Continue to follow US-64 and the Philmont Ranch will be on your left in less than half a mile. Ron will be laid to rest immediately following the Second Service at Mount View Cemetery, in Cimarron, NM. This is where he spent most of his days as a young man, as a cowboy, doing what he loved most in life. He will be placed close to his Aunt Irene and Uncle Tommy Crenshaw, whom he loved dearly and who shared with him all they knew about living the life of a cowboy. BLAND -- Emmitt "Leon" Bland, 76, a resident of Los Lunas, died Sunday, March 18, 2007. Mr. Bland was born December 5, 1930 in Stutgart, AK to Sam and Johnnie Bland. He married Mary Louise Salinas on April 1, 1948 in Deming, NM. Mr. Bland was a welder and heavy equipment mechanic for many years most recently with Brown Construction. He was stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX where he met his wife Mary Louise of 59 years. Mr. Bland enjoyed working with his sons and grandsons and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Bland; daughters, Martha L. Ramirez of Springer, Rose A. Abeyta of Albuquerque, Linda L. Chandler and husband, Mike G. of Los Lunas, Mary C. Garza and husband, Ram of Pampa, TX, Janet E. Meeks and husband, Jack of Oklahoma City, OK; sons, Sam J. and wife, Kathy L. of Bosque Farms, David W. and wife, Sue, Carl E. and wife, Linda K., Michael A. and Margo F., all of Los Lunas; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sister, Sophia; brothers, Everett, Harrison, and Edmond; and numerous nieces and nephews. BOOK -- Sheri Jean Book, 51, beloved wife, beloved mother, beloved daughter, beloved sister, beloved aunt and beloved friend, passed away peacefully Saturday morning after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from UNM with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She was great with computers and understood them on a completely intuitive level. She loved being with her many women friends, and she enjoyed her pond, her chickens, and the beauty of Nature. Above all, she loved her daughters and made their friends part of the family. She is survived by her husband Warren Book; daughters Traci and Jamie Book; parents Sandra McDonanld and Brian Tyree; sisters Cindy Sundell and Tammy Ortiz; brothers-in-law Jon Sundell, Larry Ortiz, and Philippe Book; brother Scott Gunter; sister-in-law Sheila Gunter; brother/nephew Ryan Gunter; mother-in-law Claude Senninger; and many, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of them loved and appreciated. CARR -- Mary Elizabeth Fox Carr, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, widow of the late Dr. Thomas Lyle Carr who passed away in 1998, has passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007. She was born in Las Vegas, NM on October 1, 1919 to Robert Fox and Frances Shell Fox. She is survived by sons, Thomas L. Carr of Denver, CO and Terry L. Carr and Susan of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Dee Anne Nyweide and Jack of Wilmette, IL, Catherine West and Richard of Davis, CA, Jane Jones and Paul of Austin, TX, and MaryEllen Carr of Santa Fe, NM; grandchildren, Leanna and Charlie Berger, Kristin and Justin Nyweide, John and Sydney Carr, Sarah and Heather West, Shelby and Paul Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Robert Fox; sister, Beatrice Rau; and son, Patrick Carr. She grew up in Lamar, CO, attended school there and St. Mary College, Xavier, KS, and graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, IA with a degree in dietetics and nutrition, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. She then interned at Cincinnati General Hospital and worked at the Navy Pre-Flight School at the University of Iowa, Iowa City as a dietitian. She and Dr. Carr were married in Iowa City in 1943. They moved to Albuquerque in 1952 because of their sons' asthma. Dr. Carr opened his private practice. Her volunteer work included: Girl and Boy Scouts, AAU Swimming committees and clubs, Meals on Wheels, American Cancer Society, and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She was also a member of the Bernalillo County Medical Auxiliary. She and Dr. Carr were married for 54 years. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial will be announced at a later date and held at the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center at 1815 Las Lomas NE, Albuquerque. COSPER -- Dolph Conrad Cosper, 82, of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2007. He was born December 15, 1924 in DeQueen, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe B. Cosper and Viola (Hughes) Cosper of Huntington Beach, CA; and his loving wife, Maria (Koenen) Cosper; brothers, Fred C. Cosper of Portland, OR, Edwin H. Cosper of Broken Bow, OK, and Joe Bob Cosper of Huntington Beach, CA. He is survived by his daughter, Shevawn Price, husband, Michael, and grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley of Henderson, NV; step-son, Michael Arledge and children, Rick and Angel of San Antonio, TX; sisters, Mrs. Velma Godwin of Hot Springs, AR, Mrs. Jo F. Ausley of Norman, OK; brother, Charles E. Cosper of Sacramento, CA; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a life member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion, and was a member of the teamsters union for 35 years retiring from Yellow Freight. DANIEL -- Maye K. Daniel, 98, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007. She is survived by her sons, Don L. Daniel and wife, Mary of Rio Rancho and Carrol Daniel of Mesa, AZ. Maye had 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Daniel: her son, ED Daniel and his wife, Marge; and her daughter-in-law, Faye. Mrs. Daniel was a gifted seamstress and loving wife, mother and grandmother. FRANKLIN -- Bradford J. Franklin, 51 was called home to the Lord on March 17, 2007. Our beloved father, son, brother and friend was born in Watertown, NY and came to live in Albuquerque when his father was stationed at Kirtland when it was an Army Post. He attended Highland High School and enlisted into the Army in 1972. He retired out of Fort Gordon, GA and recently moved back to Albuquerque to be closer to his family. He is survived by his loving mother, Lilly Chiyoko Okabe Schnell of Tijeras NM; his loving son, Raymond John Franklin of Sacramento CA; loving sisters, Ruth Franklin Anglin and her husband, Perry Anglin of Tijeras NM, and Sharon Franklin Heflin and her husband, Lance Heflin of Warrensburg MO; nephew, Thomas Ryan Reynolds of Anchorage, AK; niece, Ashley Reynolds Zamora and her husband, Alfonso Zamora of Albuquerque; niece, Whitney Morgan Heflin of Warrensburg, MO; and niece, Fallon Nicole Heflin of Warrensburg MO; Michael and Susan Shealy of Augusta, GA; as well as many more dear family and friends in Texas, Georgia, and California. Brad traveled the world through his career with the United States Army and was a veteran of Desert Storm with the 1st Calvary Division. He was described as "One of the most highly motivated NCOs I've had the pleasure to serve with. His professionalism both technically and tactically were well above his pay grade. He could be counted on to make things happen and demonstrated that no job was to difficult to handle." His friends and family will miss the laughter he often brought to our hearts. His practical jokes and sometimes "warped" sense of humor will be remembered by many. He was a rock that many leaned upon as he always had a lending hand to give and a ready ear to listen. When he passed he had a genuine love of Christ that was a witness for all. His family thanks all that have helped during this grievous loss, his time was short but we're blessed with the time the Lord let us borrow him. Graveside service is set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 22, 2007 at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Aspen Funeral Alternatives. FRENCH -- Helen French was born December 31, 1929 in Aurora, IL. and passed away March 17, 2007 at UNMH in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Douglas; and three of her four sons, Michael, Christopher, and Patrick. Her son, David preceded her in death. She was grandmother to six and great-grandmother to five. Helen had requested not to have any funeral services and her wishes will of course be honored.

FUEGER -- Robert (Bob) Fueger, age 79 and a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died on Sunday, March 18, 2007 following an illness. He is survived by two daughters, Geri A. Hoback of Washington, IA and Kim A. Carroll and Gary C. of St. George, UT; two sons, Thomas J. Fueger and Patricia G. of Virginia Beach, VA, and James M. Fueger of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Particia M. Fueger in 1996. Mr. Fueger retired from Sandia National Labs in 1986, and was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday March 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, with Fr. Tom Mayefske officiating. GALLES -- H.L. Galles, Jr., 95, passed away March 19, 2007. A lifetime resident of Albuquerque, Mr. Galles was preceded in death by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Fern. He is survived by his children, Lee Galles, of Albuquerque, Judi Friday and husband Larry, of Taos, NM, Rick Galles and wife Tina of Albuquerque and Karen Mische and husband Lynd, of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. At the time of his passing, Mr. Galles was Chairman of the Board of Galles Motor company, in business since 1908. In 1959, he was named President of the National Automobile Dealers Association, and was originator and Chairman of the Dealer Election Action Committee and was inducted into the U.S. Automotive Hall of Fame. He was instrumental in the creation of the "Monroney" sticker law for honest price disclosure and was named Dealer of the Year by Time Magazine. Herbert, or "Hickum," as he was known by friends and family, enjoyed a lifetime career of service to his family, his employees, his industry and his state. Mr. Galles was inducted into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame, and was a former President of the UNM Lobo Club. He was Chairman of the committee originally responsible for building the Albuquerque Sports Stadium, as well as Chairman of the Board of PNM and of the Bank of New Mexico. He was a member of the Ballut Abyad Shrine Club, the Royal Order of Jesters, St. John's Episcopal Cathedral and Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Past President of the Albuquerque Community Chest, Mr. Galles was also Past President of the Western Shrine Association and Kiwanis Association. He was awarded the Zimmerman award by UNM, and was a lifetime member of the UNM Boosters Club and the Varsity Letterman's Club. Mr. Galles' love of life was evidenced by his recovery from a recent stroke, his desire to continue working and his pride in attending Lobo home football games. There were no gray areas in Hickum's life - he never compromised character, honesty or a job well done. Respected by his competitors and manufacturers alike, in terms of character and serenity, he was remarkable in every sense of the word. He was a great man, and treated everyone he met with friendship and dignity. Rumor has it that Hickum met his wife, Fern, at a football game in 1934, after a rare win over the University of Arizona. He was truly loved by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, March 21, at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, March 22, at St. John's Cathedral, 4th & Silver, at 10:30 a.m., with a private internment to follow. Pallbearers will include his grandsons, Herbert "Bo" Galles, Jamie Galles, Tim Galles and Steve Mische, as well as long-time employees Al Coleman and Joe Heine. GIDEON -- James William Gideon, 78, passed away on March 16, 2007 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Toni; son Roy E. Gideon II; daughter Elaine; brother Billy R Gideon; and wife Elsie. He has five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jim was born in Tulsa, OK, and his family moved to Albuquerque, in 1943. He served in the Army during the German Occupation. He worked for J. Korber Co prior to, and just after returning from the armed forces. In 1956, he worked for Rogers Electric which became Lomas Electric. In 1984, he opened his own electrical contracting company, Gideon Electric, until 1995 when he retired. Cremation has taken place. GINBEY -- Wynell Squires Ginbey, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, was born in Post, TX on April 21, 1913, the third child of Hugh and Mae Squires. She was the only remaining member of that family. Wynell was widowed twice and preceded by her late husband, Wilber Ginbey in 1981. She is survived by her son, Joe W. Roberts and his wife, Sharon and a daughter, Shirley Berg and her husband, Richard; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a special niece, Linda Williams. Wynell was an accomplished seamstress and master quilter, a quite unassuming person who deeply loved her grandchildren. Anyone who knew her will miss her. Rest in Peace, "MAMMAW". GRAGG -- Helen Joan Gragg, 73, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, March 18, 2007. She is survived by her children, Linda Lee Goetz of Los Lunas and Debra Lee Garcia of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Clint Rhoades and Mary Jo Goetz; sister, Grace Lee Townsend. Mrs. Gragg was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Johnson; mother, Wilma Lee Johnson; husband, Lawrence Fetsch and Muriel Neeley. She was a cashier at La Posada Dining Hall at UNM for over 25 years. She was loved deeply and will be missed by all. GRAHAM -- Evelyn S. Graham, 76, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM since 1979, passed away on March 17, 2007. Mrs. Graham was born on April 27, 1930 to George and Gertrude (Farley) Winter of Manhattan, NY. She will be remembered for her love of shopping, reading and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Donald C. Graham, of Rio Rancho; children, Donald G. GREEN -- Angeline Green, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, March 18, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Raught and husband, William and Elizabeth Green; two grandsons, John Geier and Kevin Geier; sister, Martha Garza and husband, Erasmo; brother, John Orlando Vigil; uncle, Eddie Padilla Sr.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Green in 2000. Angeline will be remembered by her family as a fun loving, gregarious, and compassionate person. GUTIERREZ -- Robert A. Gutierrez, 39, passed away March 13, 2007. Robert, "Robert G" to friends, and "Gordy" to family; will be forever remembered as a loving son, brother, husband, father, and loyal friend. HALL -- Catherine Ann Hall, 54, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 20, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Allen Hall of the family home; her two step-children, Tanya Smith and husband, Jerry, David Blakley and wife, Brittney, all of Albuquerque; mother, Lily Ortiz of Albuquerque; siblings, Danny Ortiz of Albuquerque, Steven Ortiz and wife, Susan of Texas, Patricia Tanner and husband, Scott of Arizona; and niece, Danielle Ortiz of Arizona. Also surviving are her in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Ortiz. Catherine is a retired Albuquerque Police Officer where she served for 20 years. She was very active in numerous activities, just to name a few are softball, bowling, and target shooting. HOODLESS -- Gary A. Hoodless II, 23, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007, the Ides of March. Gary was born in Durango, CO and raised in Regina, NM. At Cuba High School he was a football, basketball, track, and academic All-Star. Gary was attending the University of New Mexico and was preparing to enter graduate school for Physical Therapy in May, at UNM. Gary was a member of the track team at UNM for four years. Gary was full of life and loved helping others. He always chose to see the good in people and never gave up on his friends and family. Gary is survived by his father, Gary A. LEYBA -- Macedonio B. Leyba, 89, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2007. He was born on September 12, 1917 to Anastacio and Luciana Leyba in Fierro, NM and raised in Deming, NM. Macedonio was a survivor of the Bataan Death March and an ex-POW of World War II in Japan for 3 1/2 years. He retired from the VA Hospital and was a life member of the VFW and DAV and American Defender of Battaan and Corregidor. He was a hard working, humble man, and a 'die hard' "CUBS" fan. Macedonio is survived by his wife, Eulalia Leyba; children: Andy and Joan Leyba, Cecil and Leticia Crespin, Yolanda and Majid Teymoori, Ray Leyba, Rudy and Sheila Leyba; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Felipe loved Rap music, camping, painting and spending time with his family and friends. MCKEE -- Claud David McKee, born May 10, 1958, went to be with the Lord March 17, 2007 from chronic pulmonary disorder. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Jessica Soldwisch, husband, Jim; sons, Dawson, Noah, wife, Stephanie, David, wife, Alyse; mother, Charlotte Benischek; brothers: Randy, wife, Linda, Dale Lillard; sisters: Vicki Lynn Parker, husband, Dr. George Parker, Ellen Benischek; grandchildren, Breanna, Kimber Lee, Riley, Cadance, and Jimmy Soldwisch; boyhood friends, Dwuane (Turp) Sanderson and Scott Faucett. He served in the U.S. Army, became a certified welder by trade until losing his arm at age 30. He became a project engineer installing Co-Gen Power Plants, briefly in Iraq then in Houston for Shaw Industries. Claud met many challenges in his short life, always with a I can do it attitude which endeared him to all his family and friends. METCALF -- James "Jim" H. Metcalf, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, succumbed to cancer surrounded by family and friends on March 18, 2007 after a long fight. He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years, Jackie; and his children, Michael Metcalf, Jodi Lardner and husband, John, and Mark Metcalf and wife, Cheryl; his grandchildren, Brittnee, Rachel, Shelby, Esther, and Shawn will miss being doted on by the grandfather that they love. He also leaves behind a brother, Larry Metcalf and wife, Molly; sisters, Patti Legnon and husband, Kenneth and Mary McCall and husband, Ed; and numerous other family members. Jim retired from Sandia National Labs in 2005 after 37 years where he was a member of the Distinguished Technical Staff. He was chosen to be a member of the U.S. inspection team that went to Moscow and Kazakhstan. The team successful closed 186 nuclear testing tunnels in Kazakhstan. He was a member of the Health Physics Society, DeMolay and the Los Altos Christian Church where he taught Sunday School for 37 years. MURPHY -- William Arch Murphy, Colonel, USAF (Ret.), passed away March 19, 2007. Arch Murphy was truly a man of his time. His professional experiences in the U.S. Air Force saw him involved in some of the pivotal events of the past fifty years. A rated command pilot, Arch flew over 2500 hours in his Air Force career, including missions during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Tet Offensive and the Battle over Khe Sanh. Recognized as a leader within the Air Force, Arch attended both the Naval War College and the National War College, where now-Senator John McCain was a classmate. During a research trip to the Middle East in 1973, he met Anwar Sadat and Golda Meir as senior member of the team. Serving at the Pentagon, he was a part of the initial planning for what became the B-1 bomber and the F-16 fighter. Arch commanded both Bolling AFB and Andrews AFB in the metropolitan D.C. Area, and served as the Commander of the Support Unit for NATO's Armed Forces in Central Europe. He was at times a member of Air Force One's Advance Team and host to U.S. Presidents. Born July 31, 1929 in Memphis, Tennessee, Arch was raised in Fulton, Kentucky, where his loving sister, Mildred "Cissy" Roberts, still resides. He graduated with a civil engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and joined the Air Force Cadet program shortly thereafter. During flight training in Tucson, Arizona, he met and married Susan Carpenter and they enjoyed their Air Force lives and retirement together in Albuquerque until her death in 1989. Their two beloved children, Katy and Harry live with their families in California. In 1993 Arch married Shirley Seed Jennings and was delighted to add his stepchildren Chris and Janice and their families to his world. He was a devoted and loving "Gramps" to Nicolas and Grace. Arch loved to tell stories, loved Mexican food, and loved to travel. He was a very good friend to many, many people and the quality and quantity of his friends and the love he shared with his family are the true testaments to his life. SHAW -- Angela Rose Marie Shaw, 73, an Albuquerque resident, died on March 18, 2007. She was born to Italian immigrant parents on December 5, 1933 in Albuquerque, NM. Rosemary was raised and lived most of her life in Albuquerque. She met her husband, Harold, at a local skating rink. She married and then spent the next 17 years, in her role as Army wife, moving her growing family all over the world. They eventually moved back in Albuquerque where they spent the rest of their days. She is survived by her children; son, Butch Shaw and wife, Peggy; daughter, Jeanne Shaw; son, Mike Shaw and wife, Janice; and son, Donnie Shaw and Beth Clark. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Lucy. WATKINS -- Lorraine N. Watkins, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, born July 4, 1923, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, W. LaMarr Watkins. She is survived by sons, Michael L. Watkins and partner, Kelly Boley, Reid H. Watkins and daughter-in-law, Annemarie Rudy, and Chaun Q. Watkins; two grandchildren, Jason Watkins, wife, Jessica and great-grandson, Landon M. Watkins and Reid H. Watkins, Jr. Lorraine was a senior member of the banking community in New Mexico and Texas for over 40 years. She was a long active and well respected member of Credit Professionals International and Credit Women. A Service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Lorraine will be greatly missed. WEED -- Janet Spangenberg Weed entered this world in Madison, WI on December 10, 1935. She was the only child of James and Winifred Spangenberg. She spent her early years in Barrington, IL but when her father obtained a position at Quaker Oats in Chicago, her family moved to Rogers Park where she resided until entering college at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She was a combined history major and piano minor at Eastman School of Music and graduated in 1957 Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She also met her future husband, Chuck, at the University of Rochester and they were married June 10, 1957. Following her marriage, Janet continued at Eastman School and obtained a Master's in Music Theory in 1958. She then taught music in the Irondequoit school system while Chuck completed medical school at the University of Rochester. In April 1961, their first child, Jennifer, was born and, soon thereafter, the family departed for Seattle, WA where Chuck was to do his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Janet taught music in the Seattle school system and, in 1963, son Michael appeared. In 1966 the family came to Albuquerque where Chuck had taken a position with Lovelace Clinic and Janet taught piano in her home. Many of her students did exceptionally well in New Mexico state piano competitions. She also became very interested in singing and was a long standing member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church choir, performed in a local production of The Mikado, and sang with the Albuquerque Symphony Orchestra on a northern New Mexico tour under the direction of Yoshimi Takedo. She also was very involved with Friends of Music. Janet left this world very unexpectedly on March 18, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer; son, Michael; former husband, Chuck; son-in-law, Jim Small; daughter-in-law, Rachelle; and granddaughter, Morgan Small whom she absolutely adored. She was a wonderful friend, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on March 31, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. Instead of flowers, donations to Oxfam or Habitat for Humanity would be Janet's wish.

WIGGINS -- Reba F. Wiggins, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007. She is survived by her loving children, Gilbert Wiggins and wife, Karen of Albuquerque, Brenda Bolton and husband, Christopher of Duncan, SC, Rhonda Townes and husband, Andrew of Albuquerque; and her seven grandchildren, DeeLynn and Drew Townes, CJ, Jesse, and Cody Bolton, and Chris and Ashley Martinez; niece, Judy Sutton of Clyde, NC; nephew, Kenny Cole of Franklin, NC; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Straub and Amy Thomas; and two sisters, Helen Calhoun and Mildred Cole. Reba was born on April 10, 1931 in Bryson City, NC. She spent her childhood and graduated from high school in Bryson City. Reba met and married Jim Wiggins in 1953 and moved to Albuquerque at the age of 20. She lived her life in Albuquerque which included raising her three children. Reba started her career working in the offices of Dr. Kinny and Dr. Wollison. She went on to work as a volunteer nurse at Casa Linda School for the mentally handicapped . Reba spent many years working with these children. She later became one of the first female bailiffs in the State of New Mexico, District Court for Judge Richard Blackhurst. Reba retired while working for Judge Richard Knowles. The family wishes to express a special "thank you" to all the caregivers at Casa de La Reina Assisted Living and all her friends at Reina house. Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
