Kathleen B. Pollard, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Friday, March 16, 2007. She is survived by her children, Marianne Mathis of Santa Fe and Kathy Miller of Springfield, VA; three grandchildren, Chris Mathis, Aaron Mathis and Nicole Miller; and one sister, Martha Rumberger of Woodbridge, VA; and other relatives and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson Pollard on November 8, 2003. She was born on March 10, 1921 in Winburne, PA to Stephen and Anna Barno. Kathleen was a long-time member of Sangre de Christo Catholic Community. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Kathleen's name.
