Obituary for MCKEE

Claud David McKee, born May 10, 1958, went to be with the Lord March 17, 2007 from chronic pulmonary disorder. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Jessica Soldwisch, husband, Jim; sons, Dawson, Noah, wife, Stephanie, David, wife, Alyse; mother, Charlotte Benischek; brothers: Randy, wife, Linda, Dale Lillard; sisters: Vicki Lynn Parker, husband, Dr. George Parker, Ellen Benischek; grandchildren, Breanna, Kimber Lee, Riley, Cadance, and Jimmy Soldwisch; boyhood friends, Dwuane (Turp) Sanderson and Scott Faucett. He served in the U.S. Army, became a certified welder by trade until losing his arm at age 30. He became a project engineer installing Co-Gen Power Plants, briefly in Iraq then in Houston for Shaw Industries. Claud met many challenges in his short life, always with a I can do it attitude which endeared him to all his family and friends. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Victor Benischek and sister, Georgia Ann Boyer. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Woodforest Funeral Home, Houston, TX at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the New Mexico Boys Ranch, P.O.
