Witiuk -- Stephan Witiuk, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, went into the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Doris; two daughters, Christine Chavez and husband, Clifford and Sandra Ulibarri and husband, William, all of Belen; two sons, Michael Witiuk and wife, Dawn and John Witiuk and wife, Nicolle, all of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, John Witiuk; two sisters, Olga Witiuk and Helen Witiuk; two sisters-in-law, Anne Marie Witiuk and Theresa Witiuk; special nephew, Larry Levine; and many other nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephan; two brothers, George and Walter. Mr. Witiuk was born in Newark, NJ. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, proudly serving in the Corps of Engineers in the European Theater. Mr. Witiuk, a disabled veteran, was a member of V.F.W. Post 401. He retired from General Electric in 1985. Rosary will be recited Friday, 6:45 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE, with Father Paul Baca, Celebrant. Clark -- William"Bill" Clark, 84, passed away December 13, 1999. He was born in Illinois and had lived in New Mexico since 1962 and employed in construction and carpentry. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Clark; children, William Clark Jr. and wife, Sue, Larry Clark, Linda Clark-Dykes and husband, Perry, Randy Clark; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Kiser, Mary Sanders, Sarah Scuteri; brother, Dudley Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 1999, with burial following. He is survived by his daughters, Erlinda Hidalgo and husband, Eddie of Albuquerque and Yolanda Rodriguez and husband, Mike of Santa Fe; sons, Fred Sandoval Jr. and wife, Dessie, Ramon Sandoval, all of Santa Fe and Pat Sandoval and wife, Betty of Fremont, CA; 18 grandchildren, including Anna Apodaca and husband, Danny, and Victoria Sandoval who he raised like his own daughters; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Cecilio Sanchez and wife, Teresita of Santa Fe; and many other family and friends. Mr. Sandoval was preceded in death by his wife, Victorita; and grandsons, Eddie Hidalgo, Jr. and Nicklaus Rodriguez. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 15, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 417 Agua Fria in Santa Fe, with Father Michael Shea, Celebrant. Wilson -- Archer M. Wilson, of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 12, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Reid Smith Wilson; daughter, Joan Witsil and husband, Jerold of Belle Mead, NJ; two grandchildren, Michael Archer Witsil and Melissa H. Witsil; step-daughter, Shirley Kerns and husband, Douglas; step-son, Larry T. Smith and wife, Alice; four step-grandchildren, Daniel Kerns, Debi Tunnell, Jason Smith and Paige Smith; and three step-great-grandchildren, Desiree Tunnel, Reid Tunnell, and Justin Kerns. He is also survived by a very close friend, Col. (Ret.) Edward G. Anderson, with whom he shared a brother-like friendship. Mr. Wilson received his engineering education at Rutgers University and, except for nine years as an engineer in private industry and the U.S. Air Force, he spent his entire working career as a civilian engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He started work in 1939 as a Topographic Draftsman and retired in 1972 as the Chief Topographic Engineer, U.S. Army Engineer Topographic Command. He and his wife moved to Albuquerque in 1978 and have been active in the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, including two years a president of Albuquerque Chapter 80 and two years as Legislative Vice President of New Mexico Federation of Chapters, NARFE. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Myron White officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the wonderful Lovelace Hospice, 5155 Jefferson St. NE 87109.
