MONTOYA -- Phillip J. Montoya, 23, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away Friday July 14, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Montoya; mother, Emily Montoya; father, Robert Romero; grandparents, Caco and Elsie Montoya, Joe (Bob) and Dolores Romero; brothers, Nicholas Soiles, Anthony Cummings, sister, Carrie and husband, Anthony; sister-in-law, Stacy Soiles; nephews, Demetrius, Triston Soiles; and niece, Alexis Maria Soiles; uncles, Michael Romero and wife, Rita, Ronald Romero and wife, Valery; aunts, Ruth Romero, Esther and husband, Jack Hildebrant, Betty and husband, Dave Campbell; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who loved and will miss him; best friend and companion, his Labrador, Fester. EADS -- JANETTE LORRAINE PACHECO Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother. Jeanette Lorraine Pacheco Eads died peacefully on July 13, 2006 after struggling with a long illness. Born December 31, 1951, the oldest of five, she is survived by her mother; Carmen Alvarez; sister, Maria Elena Alvarez-Luk; brothers, Jesse and Frank Molinar; children, Micah Alvarez, Jessica Mestas, James and Jordan Eads, Destiny Molinar; and three grandchildren, Isaiah Mestas, Luke Mestas, and Ethan Eads. Rosary will be held at the Nativity of the Blessed Mary Virgin Church on 4th and Alameda on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 8:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:00 a.m., Father Juan Mendez officiating. She will always be our little debutante. Thank you, Gina for the beautiful children you leave behind. Love heals all times... heals all wounds. God be with you.

LUCERO -- Felicitas Torres Lucero, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, July 16, 2006. She is survived by her children: Phil Lucero and wife, Theresa, Leonard Lucero and wife, Charlotte, Dulivina Lopez and husband, Manuel, Ramon Lucero and wife, Carla, Delora Cordova and husband, Joe, Lillian Lucero and husband, Rick Wiegert, Leroy Lucero and life partner, Guy Dameron, and Gabriel Lucero and Deborah Lucero; 24 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Vigil; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Augustine Lucero in 1988; daughters, Beatriz Eufemia, Pablita Olivia, Flora and Margarita Maria Benavidez; sons, Delfinio, Marcos, and Elizardo Randolph Lucero; parents, Flavio Torres and Mercedes Montoya Torres; and siblings, Delia Trujillo, Lugarda Torres, Pedro Torres, Antonia Garley, and Cipriana Torres. Felicitas was born on February 19, 1916 in Torreon, NM. She married Juan Augustine Lucero on January 13, 1936, and they moved to the Barelas Neighborhood in Albuquerque in the 1940s when he got a job with the Santa Fe Railroad. They were both members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years. At the time of her death, she was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Felicitas was a very loving and caring person. She was a praying woman and devoted Catholic whose religion was very important to her. Felicitas was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona SE, on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, 9:00 a.m. with Father Thomas Mayefske, Celebrant. LOPEZ -- Maria Victoriana Lopez, 85, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, July 13, 2006. She is the daughter of the late Victor and Agueda Martinez. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Damacio Romero, a decorated World War II Veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and Silver Star; son, Eddie Romero age 3; second husband, Joe Cecilio Lopez, a retired medic who served both in the Army and the Air Force for 26 years; three sisters, Adelia Vigil, Eremita Martinez, and Aurora Fernandez; and brother, Ricardo Martinez. She is survived by her two daughters, Angie De Lourdes Bencomo and Diane Franklin and husband, Tom; brother, Mardo Martinez and wife, Josie; sister, Candelaria Montoya and husband, Luis and sister, Doloritas Martinez O.P.; special nephew, Leroy Vigil and wife, Flora; five grandsons, Joseph Najera and wife, Cassandra, Elias Rodriguez and Estefano Franklin, Christobal Najera and Daniel Bencomo; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives. GUTIERREZ -- Daniel Gutierrez Sr., age 57, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, July 5, 2006, while visiting in Phoenix, AZ. He was a lifelong resident of Carnuel and Edgewood, NM and member of the East Mountain Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Daniel was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served his country during the Vietnam War; and was awarded the Purple Heart in 1969. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lorraine Gutierrez of the family home; his children Daniel Carlos Ben Gutierrez and wife, Tammy, Anthony Alex Gutierrez and fiancee, Laura Lopez, Filomeno Roberto Juan Gutierrez and fiancee, Lori Jiron, Maria Ursula Beard and husband, Kevin; his foster-son, Chris Sena; and nine grandchildren, Michelle, Dillon, Issac, Madison, Veronica, Cameron, Victoria, Riley, and Filomeno Jr. Also surviving are three brothers, Virgil Gutierrez, Santiago Gutierrez, and Ponciano Gutierrez Jr.; four sisters, Patricia Campbell and husband, Dean, Levy Jaramillo and husband, Frank, Rita Rivera, Merilyn Gutierrez and Mike Maldonado; numerous other beloved family members and friends. Daniel will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. ARMIJO -- Albert Armijo, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and member of a prominent pioneer family dating back to the 1700s, passed away on July 10, 2006. He was 80 years old. Albert was a passionate political activist whose presence was felt in the Democratic Party from the ward level to the state level for many years. He honorably and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, serving in the South Pacific. As a young man, he became active in the union movement and was a member of the Boilermakers International Union. He was involved in many successful negotiations and positive changes. Albert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Amalia and Nestor Armijo. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eppie; daughter, Kathy Kloeppel and son-in-law, Ken Kloeppel; and granddaughter, Jenna Kloeppel. He is also survived by his three sisters, Bonnie Griego and husband, Fred, Mable Baca and husband, Ray, and Sarah Chavez. Also, brothers-in-law, Bill Bachicha and wife, Rose, Tomas Bachicha and wife, Betty, Joseph Bachicha and wife, Clara, Dr. Robert Bachicha and wife, Maria; and sister-in-law, Anna Bachicha Reynolds and husband, Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed and loved by everyone who knew him. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE with a Rosary to follow.
