Roth -- Grace M. Roth, 88, a resident of Albuquerque and formerly of New Jersey, passed away at Presbyterian Hospital July 11, 2001. She was born on September 4, 1912 in New Jersey to Frederick and Florence Hansen. Grace was preceded in death by Ed, her husband of 60 years; and two daughters, Margaret (Marge) Steiner and Mildred (Miggsy) Bonavito. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Guenther, and husband, Art, of Albuquerque; and Dorothy Roth of North Fort Meyers, Florida; eight grandchildren, Karen Gromlich and husband, Lawrence, Susan Turnbull and husband, Billy, Lynn Bazat and husband, Hal, Nancy Betzon and husband, Matt, Charles Roth and wife, Sage, Laurie Baca and husband, Phil, Tracie O'Geary and husband, Dan, and Wendy Gallegos and husband, Ralph; Grace is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Chris Steiner, Carly Barron, Brandy Turnbull, Chelsea Gallegos, Noah Betzon, and Cassy Gallegos; brother-in-law, Fr. Robert J. Roth, SJ of Fordham University in the Bronx; and sister/brother-in-law, Helen and John Moorehead. Sunrise Society of New Mexico will handle the cremation. Services will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 12500 Carmel NE on Saturday, July 22, 2001 at 10:00 a.m., and a Memorial Ceremony will be held at Bear Canyon Estates, at 4440 Morris NE, on Friday, July 21, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Animal Humane Society in honor of Grace's love for pets. Johnson -- Alice Louise Johnson, age 71 of San Angelo died suddendly July 1, 2001 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2001 in the Baptist Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are by Johnsons Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born September 10, 1929 in Hillsboro, New Mexico. She married Albert Johnson on July 16, 1954 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She is survived by her husband, Albert Johnson of San Angelo; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Grant Loemker of San Angelo; one son, Thomas Johnson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Rebecca Gallegos of San Angelo; one grandson, Jonathan Gallegos of San Angelo; her mother, Cleora Skov of Watertown, Tennessee; one sister, Patricia Williams of Watertown, Tennessee, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Martinez and wife Dorothy and Tom Martinez and wife Betty of Montebello, Ca.; a sister in law: Aniceta Martinez; 29 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Four generations survive her. She is preceded in death by her husband: Cleofes Martinez; parents: Rufino and Adela Martinez; son: Willie H. Martinez; daughter: Irene Alderete; a granddaughter: Amorette Alderete; a grandson: Fernando Anaya; son in law: John Sedillo Jr.; a daughter in law: Barbara V. Martinez; sisters: Fidelina Apodaca, Margaret Zamora, Bernardita Ortiz, Manuelita Mata, Adela Gallegos, Lucia Valdez and Bersabe Silva; a brother: Luis Martinez. Mrs. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Sunday afternoon at 4:00 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 3:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 9:00 at San Martin Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW with final visitation at the church after 8:30 by Father James. Gallegos -- Tony V. Gallegos, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Monday, June 18, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Hafiza Hindi Gallegos; and daughter, Bonita C. Fenn. Children include sons, Richard and wife, Nancy, Anthony and wife, Diana, Jimmy and wife, Vicki; daughters, Theresa Easley and husband, Robert, Carla Gallegos and husband, Jason Robertson, all of Albuquerque; Clare Lunsted and husband, Ron of Aurora, CO; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; (to whom he was better known as Tata); sisters, Jenny Tapia of Albuquerque and Helen Garner of Las Vegas; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Tony became a professional boxer in his teens after winning the Golden Gloves Championship. Later he moved his family to the bay area of California where he worked in the Marin County shipyards as a foreman. He finished his career of 29 years with the federal government working both in Los Alamos and Albuquerque. His hobbies included fishing, traveling, building and an occasional gambling trip with his wife and children. Tony was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE., with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Jason Gallegos, Chris Gallegos, Steven Easley, Jay Easley, Shaun Gallegos and Dennis Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Rick Gallegos, Erick Gallegos, Robert Easley, Mike Easley, Alex Gallegos, Valerie Lunsted, Shayna Lunsted, Joshua Robertson, Jenae Robertson and Tracy Harrison.
