He is survived by his sons, Ernestino Tafoya and wife, Harriet and Maximiliano Tafoya and wife, Cynthia all of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Emily Hopp of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Ernest Martin Tafoya, John Thomas Tafoya and wife, Ann, Steven Timothy Tafoya, Teresa Lynn Paques, Marvin Tafoya and wife, Anita, Michael Tafoya, Carol Martinez and husband, Todd Bennett, Mary Alcala and husband, Joseph, Elisa Breckenridge and husband, Jim, Kristal Coker and husband, Mike; great-grandchildren, Deanna, Rhonda, Adam, Brandon, Curtis, Marisa, Estevan, Kyle, Jonathan, Daniel, Joey, Ryan, Matthew, Christopher, Daniel and Brittany; brothers, Luis Tafoya and wife, Elena, Arturo Tafoya and wife, Amalia; sister, Fedelina Segura; brother-in-law, Valerio Gallegos. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Elisa Tapia Tafoya; brothers, Antonio and Ben Tafoya; sisters; Conrada Lucero, Guadalupe Duran, Eumelia Lopez, Petra Gallegos and Elicia Tafoya. Manuel was born on June 25, 1916 to Serapio and Senaida Sanchez Tafoya. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Friends may visit on Sunday, June 24, 2001 at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following. Mass will take place on Monday, June 25, 2001 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Martin Tafoya, John Thoams Tafoya, Micahel Tafoya, Marvin Tafoya, Jim Breckenridge and Mike Coker. French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE in charge of arrangements.
