Baddaker -- Robert C. Baddaker, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948. Bob received his final order on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 and is on eternal patrol. He was born in Waukegan, IL on February 23, 1923. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Audrey Baddaker of Albuquerque; son, James R. Baddaker and wife, Donna of Grapevine, TX; daughter, Linda B. Plymale and husband, Allen; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sister, Laura Kee and Calvin Wade of Palermo, ME. Bob was a Submariner in WWII and after completing his education he worked 30 years for IRS. He was a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII, U.S. Submarine Veterans, Inc and the D.A.V. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE., with Rev. Dr. Terry E. Anderson officiating. Interment of cremains will take place Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Beers -- George E. Beers, 95, a resident of Port Orange, FL and a former resident of Albuquerque for 43 years, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001. He is survived by his son, Paul J. Beers of Alhambra, CA; daughters, Margaret Tarpey of Port Orange, FL and Rosemary Stephens of Placitas; brother, Richard Beers of Franklin, PA; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Beers was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Laura; and son, William E. Beers. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Mr. Beers was a retired machinist for ACF and the Atomic Energy Commission. He enjoyed traveling with the Silver Streak Club. Mr. Beers also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rosary will be recited Friday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Tom Jones reciting. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas NE, with Father Francis Malley, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Berlier -- John Michael Berlier born January 23, 1984 in Albuquerque died much too soon in an auto accident June 20, 2001. John is survived by his parents, Jim and Vicki Berlier; and sister, Jennifer. He is also survived by grandparents, Oscar and Wilma Berlier of Los Chavez & Encino, N.M., and Audra Lee Crossland of Fritch, TX; aunts and uncles, Eileen and Ken Goode, Shannon & Joe McCaleb, Alan and Linda Crossland and Richard and Debbie Crossland; cousins, Sheila and Dominic Aragon, Bret Crossland, Tobie Crossland and Allyson Crossland; along with numerous other family members and friends. John loved the Lord and had a special zest for life. He also had an exceptional sense of humor and with that love and humor he ministered to those around, touching the lives of people across the nation. John was a member of the class of 2002 at Estancia High School. He loved being with family and friends. John especially enjoyed basketball, music, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, the youth group at Immanuel Baptist Church, the LOGOS youth group, FFA activities and showing animals at the fair. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001 at the Estancia High School gymnasium. Albert Hagan of Immanuel Baptist Church will conduct the services. Burial will follow at the Estancia Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Connell, Ken Goode, Joe McCaleb, Andy Otis, Victor Powell and Breck Walden. Bynum -- Harold D. Bynum, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 54 years, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane M. Bynum of Albuquerque; son, John H. Bynum and wife, Glenna; daughter, Wanda Sue Anderson and husband, Larry, all of Anza, CA; six grandchildren; brother, Bill Bynum of Las Cruces; and four stepchildren. Mr. Bynum served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a medic and air evacuation of injured military personnel in the South Pacific. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 401 and the American Legion. Mr. Bynum was employed with the Navajo Freight Lines from 1954 until 1978. He served as the secretary and treasurer of Teamsters Local 492 from 1979 to 1981. Services will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Alan Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Chambers -- Ray Herman Chambers, 74, passed away at the Albuquerque, V.A. Hospital on June 18, 2001. He was a resident of Albuquerque for 47 years and was a principal partner in the Engineering Firm of Chambers, Campbell, Isaacson and Chaplin. The firm did engineering and architectural work for the States of New Mexico and Arizona. Ray was an officer in the Army Corp of Engineers during World War II. He graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO and was outstanding in athletics and took 2nd place in the high jump in the NCAA Tournament. He also lettered in basketball and track. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Alice I. Dahl. He is survived by his wife, Oueta B. Chambers; four daughters, Christine Caton and husband, Scott, of Alamosa, CO, Diana Bisbee and husband, Hexamer, of Springdale, AR, Lisa Chambers of Boulder, CO, and Katrina Wood of Albuquerque, NM; stepson, Bill McAfee of Topeka, KS; brother, Thomas Alden Chambers and wife, Marilynn, of Spring City, TN; sisters, Patsy Stein and husband, Jack of Prescott, AZ, and Linda Waugh and husband, Max, of Albuquerque, NM; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He retired to the Four Hills area and enjoyed life watching his grandchildren grow up, golf and hunting. Ray was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. No Service will be held. Cremation has taken place and the remains will be interred at his ranch in Colorado. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.

Eastburg -- Newell Eastburg, 74, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952 and was born in Iowa, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Eastburg; daughters, Linda Eastburg of Denver and Gwen Eastburg and husband, Jim Lowrey and son, Zachary Guay; son, Randy Eastburg and wife, Lisa and children, Bradley Bowling and Brooke Eastburg; sister-in-law, Chloe Eastburg and daughter, Tena Eastburg and numerous relatives in Western, KS. Newell entered the Army in the Costal Artillery Unit in WWII at the age of 17. That where he gained experience in the printing business. And remained in the printing business for 57 years and finished his career for Starline Printing where he worked for many years. He met his beautiful wife in Denver, Colorado where they married, there after moved to Albuquerque, NM to start their family. He was a member of the Hoffmantown Church and loved going to horse races and going to his sons car lot. Newell also loved sporting events especially those that his children and grandchildren were involved in. Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road N.W., with Pastor Jim Williams, officiating. Gallegos -- Tony V. Gallegos, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Monday, June 18, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Hafiza Hindi Gallegos; and daughter, Bonita C. Fenn. Children include sons, Richard and wife, Nancy, Anthony and wife, Diana, Jimmy and wife, Vicki; daughters, Theresa Easley and husband, Robert, Carla Gallegos and husband, Jason Robertson, all of Albuquerque; Clare Lunsted and husband, Ron of Aurora, CO; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; (to whom he was better known as Tata); sisters, Jenny Tapia of Albuquerque and Helen Garner of Las Vegas; and several nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Tony became a professional boxer in his teens after winning the Golden Gloves Championship. Later he moved his family to the bay area of California where he worked in the Marin County shipyards as a foreman. He finished his career of 29 years with the federal government working both in Los Alamos and Albuquerque. His hobbies included fishing, traveling, building and an occasional gambling trip with his wife and children. Tony was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE., with Father Antonio Mondragon, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Hart -- Joseph Lawrence Hart, 97, a resident of Albuquerque since 1989, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2001. He was born in Las Vegas, NM, the son of Dennis and Eva Hart. Joe worked in Las Vegas for the Meadows Hotel, the Santa Fe Railroad, Charles Ilfeld Co., and retired from the City School System in 1971, having served as Superintendent of Maintenance. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; and his wife, Martha. In 1961, he married Doris Dowler, who died in 1994. Joe is survived by his step-children, Mary Jane Miller of Hobbs, NM, Phyllis Dowler of Albuquerque, NM, and Keith Dowler of Rio Rancho, NM. From these step-children, Joe had six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Private interment will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Hart. (891-8200).

Koch -- Ferdinand A. Koch, Jr., 77 a resident of Albuquerque for many years, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2001. Immediate relatives preceding him in death were his parents, Ferdinand A. Koch and Kathleen Long Koch; and brother, Robert Koch. He is survived by his brothers, Charles E. Koch of Midland, TX, W. Christian Koch and James H. Koch of Santa Fe. Ferdinand was stationed in England during World War II as an Army Air Corp, armament gunner. He won the Bronze Star while participating in the European air offensive. Interment took place on Thursday, June 21, 2001 at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Lovato -- Mary Lou Lovato, 66, a resident of Bernalillo for 27 years, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2001. She is survived by her children, Ben Lovato, Victoria Priscilla Baca and husband, Richard, Epifanio, Jr., Nick, David, Victor, Albino and Martin; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two great-great grandbabies and many stuffed animal puppies. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Epifanio Lovato; sons, Jose Luis Lovato; and grandson, Gilbert Jaramillo. She was a dedicated mother and wife to her husband and seven sons. Mary Lou has several hobbies that she loved such as cooking, sewing and car racing. She was a member of the Bernalillo Independent Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be, Richard N. Baca, Joe Jaramillo, Raymond Jaramillo, John Jaramillo, Steve Saiz, Tim Marienau and Tony Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Albino Lovato, Victoria J. Lucero -- Mary L. Lucero was called by the Lord on June 20, 2001. She was born on December 31, 1905 in Los Alamitos, NM. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Victoria Sanchez and Estella Lucero; and brother, Abel Lucero. Mary retired from Albuquerque Public Schools in the early 70's. She is survived by her special niece, Angie Sandoval and husband, Al; brother, John Lucero and wife, Abelina; special brother-in-law, Luis Lucero; sisters, Elvira Gonzales and Agneda Lucero; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Services for Mary will be held on Saturday at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alvin Sandoval, Alan Sandoval, Marlo Lucero, Anthony Martinez, Bill G. Maes and George Montoya. Honorary Pallbearers will be Moises Lucero and Neal Sanchez.
