Anaya -- Mrs. Deborah Ann Anaya-To, 43, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away on June 21, 2001 at home with her loving family at her side. Deborah Ann is survived by her beloved husband of nineteen years, Van To; her parents, Bennie and Marie Sophie Anaya; her sister, Hazel Marie Hill-Jaramillo and husband, Alex; her brother, Bennie Anaya and Fiancee Debbie Trujillo; her niece and Goddaughter, Meghan Gabrielle Jaramillo; her father and mother-in-law, Quang and Minh To; many other relatives in the To family. Deborah Ann was a member of the Catholic Church, Auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary, member of the Missionary of Mercy, A Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity and was an Administrative Assistant for Bank of America for the past 25 years. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph's Place NW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gene and Josie Lovato and the Legion of Mary. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. by Father Hoi Tran. Arrossa -- Elijah Nicholas Arrossa, infant son of Sean and Yvonne Arrossa of Rio Rancho, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2001. He is also survived by his sister, Nikeya M. Arrossa of Rio Rancho; grandparents, Marteen and Chris Lopez, Rocky Wilson and Flo Chavez and Ivan and Brenda Arrossa all of Albuquerque; great-grandmas, Shirley Wilson of Albuquerque, Irene Arrossa and Doloris Marinelli both of Grants, NM; great-grandparents, Bob and Diane Powers of Nevada; uncles, Adam and Jean-Pierre Arrossa, Matthew and Nicolas Lopez all of Albuquerque; and numerous friends and family who have been very supportive and helpful during this time. Berlier -- John Michael Berlier born January 23, 1984 in Albuquerque died much too soon in an auto accident June 20, 2001. John is survived by his parents, Jim and Vicki Berlier; and sister, Jennifer. He is also survived by grandparents, Oscar and Wilma Berlier of Los Chavez & Encino, NM., and Audra Lee Crossland of Fritch, TX; aunts and uncles, Eileen and Ken Goode, Shannon & Joe McCaleb, Alan and Linda Crossland and Richard and Debbie Crossland; cousins, Sheila and Dominic Aragon, Bret Crossland, Tobie Crossland and Allyson Crossland; along with numerous other family members and friends. John loved the Lord and had a special zest for life. He also had an exceptional sense of humor and with that love and humor he ministered to those around, touching the lives of people across the nation. John was a member of the class of 2002 at Estancia High School. He loved being with family and friends. John especially enjoyed basketball, music, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, the youth group at Immanuel Baptist Church, the LOGOS youth group, FFA activities and showing animals at the fair. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001 at the Estancia High School gymnasium. Albert Hagan of Immanuel Baptist Church will conduct the services. Bynum -- Harold D. Bynum, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 54 years, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane M. Bynum of Albuquerque; son, John H. Bynum and wife, Glenna; daughter, Wanda Sue Anderson and husband, Larry, all of Anza, CA; six grandchildren; brother, Bill Bynum of Las Cruces; and four stepchildren. Mr. Bynum served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a medic and air evacuation of injured military personnel in the South Pacific. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 401 and the American Legion. Mr. Bynum was employed with the Navajo Freight Lines from 1954 until 1978. He served as the secretary and treasurer of Teamsters Local 492 from 1979 to 1981. Chavez -- Beatrice M. Chavez, 71, a resident of Tome, NM has gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2001. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Beatrice was a well known area Avon Sales Representative working with the Avon Corporation for over thirty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Ignacio and Isabel Moya; her mother-in-law, Beatrice B. Chavez in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eloy of the family home in Tome; three children, Priscilla Montano and her husband, Willie of Tome, Louie and Rita Zamora and Marcelino and his wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Erminio Moya and his wife, Rita of Bosque Farms, Tony Moya and his wife, Martha, and Paul and his wife, Ramona, all of Tome; and a very special sister-in-law, Sally Baldonado of Tome. Beatrice is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be held at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, June 25, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 26, with Father Jose A. Hernandez officiating at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Lovato -- Mary Lou Lovato, 66, a resident of Bernalillo for 27 years, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2001. She is survived by her children, Ben Lovato, Victoria Priscilla Baca and husband, Richard, Epifanio, Jr., Nick, David, Victor, Albino and Martin; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, two great-great grandbabies and many stuffed animal puppies. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Epifanio Lovato; sons, Jose Luis Lovato; and grandson, Gilbert Jaramillo. She was a dedicated mother and wife to her husband and seven sons. Mary Lou has several hobbies that she loved such as cooking, sewing and car racing. She was a member of the Bernalillo Independent Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Bernalillo Independent Baptist Church, 105 Academy Drive, Bernalillo, NM. Interment will be at at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Ostlie -- Gertrude "Gertie" Ostlie, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 21, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Robert Ostlie and Jim Ostlie and wife, Judy, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ostlie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ostlie; daughter, June Ostlie; and son, Charles Ostlie. She was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. Gertrude was an example of living her life to the fullest. She loved her Lord, fishing, traveling and her church family. Spain -- Memorial Service for Mary Joyce Spain, 66, of Lake Kiowa, TX, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2001, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Gainesville. Mary Joyce Spain passed away June 20, 2001, at her residence. Inurement will follow the service in St. Paul's Columbarium. She was born September 28 in Newbern, TN, daughter of Elton Darlee and Iva Sue Wright Spain. She was a graduate of the Boulevard School of Modeling in Chicago, and of the McCaullay School of Business in Albuquerque. She was a seven year Veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was a supervisor for Tektronix, Inc., retiring after 22 years. Miss Spain was a member of the American Business Women's Association, the Lake Kiowa Women's Club, the Audobon Society and St. Paul's Episcopal Church. At St. Paul's she was a member of the Daughters of the King. Mary Joyce Spain is survived by her mother, Iva Sue Dial, Chandler, AZ; a brother, Bill E. Stratton -- Rebecca J. Stratton, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, died on Friday, June 15, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Stratton; daughters, Donna Sue Stratton of Albuquerque and Lucinda Balgooyen of Chico, CA; two grandchildren; brother, George Jones; and sisters, Mabel Connor and Marjorie Thompson. Rebecca was a very well know artist particularly in the New York area and was prominent in art circles. She won many awards for her painting compositions, winning 1st place nationally. Rebecca worked ten years as advertising manager for Koos Brothes, which was the largest furniture store on the east coast. She even designed furniture as well. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2001, 2:00 p.m. at Carter Hall at LaVida Llena, 10501 Lagrima de Oro NE., with Chaplin Norton Scrimshine and The Very Rev. John B. Haverland, officiating. Burial of cremains will take place on Monday, July 2, 2001, 11:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
