GONZALES -- Alfonso Gonzales, 76, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 3, 2010. Mr. Gonzales is survived by beloved wife of 56 years, Mrs. Mary Gonzales; his children, Amy Gonzales and partner, Jennifer, Alfred Gonzales and wife, Bonnie, Dora Gomez and husband, Larry, Anthony Gonzales and wife, Liz, Nadine Gonzales and husband, Gil Gallegos, Michael Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and girlfriend, Lisa and Anita Lopez and husband, Fred; his sisters, Patsy Anaya and Mary Bustillos; his brother, Johnny Gonzales; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members. MARTINEZ -- Ernestina "Tina" Martinez, age 62, a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died November 24, 2010. Tina Martinez was born December 18, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She retired from Honeywell in 2004. She was preceded in death by her mother Erlinda Bachicha; father Andres Bachicha; and grandson Michael Leyba. SAAVEDRA -- Michael Saavedra. On October 11, 2010, caressed by the gentle afternoon glow of a perfect early autumn day, and in the arms of the woman he loved more than anything in this world, Michael Saavedra, protective, devoted and loving husband of Debbie V. Saavedra; and diligent son of Rosendo and Josie (Josefita) Saavedra, concluded his brave and enduring fight with cancer - passing on to a greater glory free of suffering, greeted in celebration by his forebears, and beckoned by the triumphant and final call of the Lord. He was three days from his forty-eighth birthday, having entered this world on October 14, 1962 and growing up in Armijo in Albuquerque's South Valley. Michael was a remarkable, strong and beautiful man in every way, steadfast in his faith and defined by a special humility, dignity and grace. He loved the symbol of the wolf, a majestic creature imbued above all with the trait of loyalty, a singularly defining characteristic of this wonderful human being. With a boundless heart and sharing unlimited generosity, he was successful and proud of the business he and Debbie shared and worked hard on together to cultivate and grow.
