MARTINEZ -- Ernestina "Tina" Martinez, age 62, a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died November 24, 2010. Tina Martinez was born December 18, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She retired from Honeywell in 2004. She was preceded in death by her mother Erlinda Bachicha; father Andres Bachicha; and grandson Michael Leyba. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Leyba and Toby; three brothers, David Bachicha, Pablo Bachicha and Terry, Estevan Bachicha and Charlene; eight sisters, Frances Sanchez, Angie Gabaldon, Elisa Pavia, Marta Bachicha, Isabel Torrez and husband Gil, Lydia Maestas and husband Leo, Evon Tapia and Naomi Madrid and husband Larry; three grandchildren Daniel, Michael and Alyssa; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend Marcelino Saavedra and many friends. A Funeral service will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary with Doug Murray and Tarcis Rigel Rosales officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m, at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary followed by burial at 11:00 a.m., the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Leyba, Michael Mora, David Bachicha, Pablo Bachicha, Estevan Bachicha and Mario Leyba.
