TRUJILLO -- Joseph Angel Trujillo 1965-2004 Joseph Angel Trujillo, 39, a resident of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on Friday September 17, 2004. He was born on July 14, 1965. He was a 1983 graduate of Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, and a 1989 graduate of New Mexico State University. He was employed by Intel Corporation in Albuquerque, but most recently in Colorado Springs. Joseph is survived by his loving family: his parents, Genoveva B. Trujillo of Arrey, NM and Joe L. Trujillo of Deming, NM; his brothers, Roger Trujillo and his wife, Donna of Albuquerque, Albert Trujillo and his wife, Karin of Bosque Farms, NM, and Ely Trujillo and his wife, Kaoru of Cumming, GA; his life-long mate and forever member of the family, Elena Zamora; his nephew, Roger Trujillo II; nieces, Amanda and Kassie Trujillo, Rachel Trujillo, Vanessa Molina, and Sara Trujillo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends on Friday evening, September 24, beginning at 6:00 p.m., and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church, 2005 N. Plaza in Old Town Albuquerque. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church in Arrey, NM, with Father Don Hyatt officiating. STORMENT -- Clara Mae Dickau Storment died on September 20, 2004. She was born on March 28, 1915 and lived on a farm near Ontario, Wisconsin. She grew up and attended public schools in Ontario. After her high school graduation at 17, she moved to Northbrook, Illinois and worked in Winnetka, Illinois until her marriage to Roscoe E. Storment in 1942. They lived in Chicago and Clara attended Business College. During WWII, Clara and Roscoe moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she worked for the Naval Ordinance Plant, the maker of the Norden Bomb Site. After the war, they moved to Danville, Illinois and Clara worked as office manager for a Paul Revere Life Insurance Company. In 1950, Clara, her husband, and young son, moved to Albuquerque. She worked for a short time at the University of New Mexico. In 1960, Clara started working at First Presbyterian Church as Christian Education Secretary and then as Coordinator for the Christian Education Department. After her first retirement in 1975, she served as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church and was Moderator of the Board of Deacons for a year. When the Helpline Office of First Presbyterian Church began, Clara worked as a volunteer and was later hired as Coordinator for the Helpline Office. For ten years, Clara headed the Helpline Office and retired in 1995 at the age of 80. Clara volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother for three years, was active in the PTA at Montezuma Elementary School, served as a Precinct Chairman and was always interested in the political scene. She was a member of the Christian Educators Association, Presbyterian Women, Presbyterian Mariners, New Mexico Association of Educational Retirees, and Friends of the Rio Grande Botanical Garden. Clara was an avid Lobo basketball fan. She loved gardening and spent many happy hours working in her yard, tending her flowers, fruit trees and vegetables. Clara was a bird watcher and had a large feeding station outside a window so she could watch their coming and going. Clara was proceeded in death by her husband, Roscoe, her mother, father, stepmother, sisters Etta Shippee, Kathleen Parr and Helen Heinz, and brothers Fred, Howard and Carl Dickau. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Reginald and Donna Storment, her daughter and son-in-law Roxanna and Ian Caird, and her grandsons, Dylan Storment and Ethan Aronson, all of Albuquerque. Clara is also survived by sister, Amelia Hubbard of Richland Center, Wisconsin, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Clara dearly loved her family and had many dear friends. In lieu of flowers, Clara requested that gifts be given to the Helpline Office of First Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice. A memorial service, celebrating the life of Clara Storment, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 24, at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, Albuquerque, NM. Following the service, a reception will be held at the church.

BUCKINGHAM -- David Ray Buckingham, 49, a resident of Santa Fe, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marty A. Buckingham; and son, Jon D. Buckingham, both of Santa Fe; daughter, Jaime L. Baca and her husband, Christopher and his sons, Nathan and Justin Baca of Albuquerque; his parents, Larry L. Buckingham and A. Faye Buckingham; and brother, Steven Buckingham, all of Georgetown, TX; father-in-law, Thomas Sturtz, and mother-in-law, Donna Sturtz of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry R. Buckingham. Memorial service will be Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Family will receive friends after the service. GATEWOOD -- Clarence N. (Cal) Gatewood II, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Monday, September 13, 2004. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Ann Gatewood; and his granddaughter, Criselda G. Teachey. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Esther E. (Candelaria) Gatewood; two sons: Donald N. Gatewood and wife, Evelyn of Virginia Beach, VA and David N. Gatewood and wife, Lynn of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren: Anna and Barbara Gatewood of Virginia Beach, VA, Donna Minson of Orlando, FL, Chris and Marcus Hulliger of Albuquerque, Daniel, Miguel and Nicole Gatewood of Albuquerque; and four great-grandchildren: Chaz Gatewood of Virginia Beach, VA, Stephen and Elijah Teachey of Turkey, NC, and Travis J. Minson of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by four brothers: George J. Gatewood of Los Angeles, CA, Henry D. Gatewood II and wife, Mary Lee of Chandler, AZ, David Gatewood and wife, Tillie of Fayetteville, NC, Mickey Dalton and wife, Marilyn of Ft. Defiance, AZ; and one sister: Mary Ann Gatewood of Prescott Valley, AZ. All the brothers were US Army Paratroopers. Cal was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, where his father-in-law, the late Rev. J.I. Candelaria was a pastor for more than 30 years. Cal retired from the Army with 30 years of service. He entered the Army in 1947 as a paratrooper and later became the Navajo Nation's first helicopter pilot. Cal served in several overseas locations including Korea as a helicopter pilot, two tours in Vietnam flying the CH-47 Chinook on his first tour and the CH-54-B Skycrane on his second tour. On his first tour Cal was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for a night rescue of 14 Air Force personnel whose plane had crashed into the side of a mountain. Cal was a Master Army Aviator, Master Parachutist, and received many awards. He was born in Fort Defiance, AZ in 1930. Cal attended the Ganado Presbyterian mission school where he met his future wife, Esther E. Candelaria, who was attending Nurse's Training School. They were married on June 14, 1951 at the Second Presbyterian Church by her father Rev. J.I. Candelaria. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at the Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd. NE, with Pastor Jaime O. Quinones officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Brian DeHerrera, David Candelaria, Eric Candelaria, Marty Gallegos, Travis Irwin, and Nathan Gatewood. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. ARELLANES -- Marie A. (Montoya) Arellanes. January 26, 1930 - September 11, 2004. Marie is survived by her loving husband, Joe F. Arellanes, her companion in marriage for 59 years. Joe lovingly cared for "his best friend" in her time of illness. He's our HERO! Marie is survived by 3 sons, Joseph A. Arellanes, Richard F. Arellanes and wife, Dorothy, Robert J. Arellanes and wife, JoAnn; daughters, D. Theresa Rivera, Barbara M. E. Salas and husband, Lawrence, Janice T. Pick and husband, Raymond, Donna M. Duran and husband, Julius, Jerilyn A. Arellanes (a.k.a. Anne McDonald); 22 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Charlotte Silva and husband, Felix; two brothers, Reynaldo Montoya and wife, Roberta, Ronald Montoya and life-companion, Donnie Soveranes and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Antonio and Sofia Montoya. Just a few days prior to her death, Marie was professed in the Third Order of Carmelites receiving the name Marie Arellanes of the Holy Eucharist and St. Therese. Marie was a very devout catholic and was a member of the Blue Army and Altar Rosary Society. She was a very compassionate person who prayed for all. Marie was a very intelligent and talented artist who did many beautiful paintings in her lifetime but didn't brag about it. She was a great person in her simplicity. The family would like to thank Fr. Anthony Bolman, Fr. Johnny Lee Chavez, Fr. Fernando Rubio-Boitel, and the Deacons from Queen of Heaven Parish. We would also like to thank Dr. Dorf and all those at Albuquerque Regional Hospital who provided excellent care for her. We also thank Fr. Anthony Pick, a family member, who traveled from Iowa to celebrate the Mass. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Rosary will be Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Bernalillo, NM. LEWIS -- Glen L. (Lee) Lewis, 84, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004. Born on August 6, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN, Lee moved to Albuquerque in 1958 and retired from General Electric in 1983 as a machinist. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen Lewis and Leotha Connerly; the only true love of his life, his wife, Margie in 1990; sons, Chuck and Donald; brothers, Lloyd and George; and granddaughter, Sheila. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Clark of Albuquerque; son, Jerry Lewis and partner, Penny Wakeland of Olathe, KS; brother, Robert Lewis and wife, Rosalie; sister, Belma Connerly and husband, Cliff of Indianapolis, IN; granddaughters, Darla Ashley and partner, Joel Sweet of Albuquerque, and Donna Roberts and husband, Jeff of Overland Park, KS; great-grandchildren, Hunter Sweet of Albuquerque, Kendra and Phillip Roberts of Overland Park, KS. A special thanks to his guardian angel, Teri Buckingham; he is now your guardian angel. LEWIS -- Glen L. (Lee) Lewis, 84, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004. FLORES -- Richard. Mr. Richard Flores, 75, a resident of Albuquerque passed away at home in the loving arms of his family on August 20, 2004. Mr. Flores is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Madge F. Flores; four children, Irene Valdez and husband, Robert, Donna Gunderson and husband, Glen, Felipe Flores, and Oscar Flores and wife, Christine; eleven grandchildren, Sharon, Sheila, Rick, Adrian, Erika, Pablo, Dominic, Merlinda, Matthew, Gabriel and DeeAnna; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his son, Paul Flores. Mr. Flores was a member of the Catholic Church, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was the past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and an Usher at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Flores will be on Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5411 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Legion of Mary. Final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:30am until 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am by Father Gene Gries. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, at 1:30pm. Pallbearers will be Robert Valdez, Glen Gunderson, Rick Ortega, Adrian Ortega, Dominic Flores, and Matthew Flores.
