Glen L. (Lee) Lewis, 84, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004. Born on August 6, 1920 in Indianapolis, IN, Lee moved to Albuquerque in 1958 and retired from General Electric in 1983 as a machinist. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen Lewis and Leotha Connerly; the only true love of his life, his wife, Margie in 1990; sons, Chuck and Donald; brothers, Lloyd and George; and granddaughter, Sheila. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Clark of Albuquerque; son, Jerry Lewis and partner, Penny Wakeland of Olathe, KS; brother, Robert Lewis and wife, Rosalie; sister, Belma Connerly and husband, Cliff of Indianapolis, IN; granddaughters, Darla Ashley and partner, Joel Sweet of Albuquerque, and Donna Roberts and husband, Jeff of Overland Park, KS; great-grandchildren, Hunter Sweet of Albuquerque, Kendra and Phillip Roberts of Overland Park, KS. A special thanks to his guardian angel, Teri Buckingham; he is now your guardian angel. Thank you to Carl Beaver for the care of our father in the evenings; to the entire staff of Manor Care Arcadia Hall 1; and to Ambercare Hospice for their excellent care. Thank you to the entire Hammond Family for their church service, prayers, and music each Sunday. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be planned at a later date. "I won't be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near, and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all my love around you soft and clear."
