TRUJILLO -- Leroy Vincent Trujillo, age 44, died unexpectedly in the early morning of Monday, August 17, 2009. Leroy was born November 28, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. He later moved to Albuquerque where he attended Valley High School. Leroy had a love for life outdoors, cooking, coke products, family, and friends. Leroy lived for the moment and had a talent for fixing most things people would consider unfixable. Leroy is survived by his parents, George Trujillo, Marcia Martinez and stepfather, Jimmy Martinez; brother, George R. Trujillo; daughter, Jeneva Trujillo; sons, Leroy Trujillo, Steven Trujillo, and Brandon Trujillo; granddaughter, Marisol Erinn Trujillo; Leroy's girlfiiend, Valerie Serbin and her children, Felicia, Nikki, and Damacio Gallegos. Services will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St, NW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery on Edith and Menaul, NE. GALLEGOS -- BENJAMIN H. GALLEGOS Age 76, our Lord blessed our father by joining him with our mother in Heaven, peacefully surrounded by his family on the early morning of August 15, 2009. Ben was born on September 26, 1932 in Santa Rita, new Mexico, to Martin and Lucy Gallegos who preceded him in death. Ben was raised in Bayard, New Mexico. Ben attended Western New Mexico University, where he graduated #1, Magna Cum Laude, earning his degree in Business Administration. He was awarded The Wall Street Journal Award for academic excellence and achievement. He was also accepted to Harvard University. The most remarkable thing about our daddy is that he accomplished all this, married, raising three little children and working the graveyard shift at the Santa Rita Copper Mine! He retired from state government, where he held various positions with the Department of Finance and Administration, the Department of Human Services, specifically Administrator of both the Ft. Bayard Hospital and the Miners Hospital in Raton, NM. He was an amazing individual and mentor with incredible values, strength, integrity and courage. He fought a difficult physical struggle throughout his life with grace and dignity. He will always be remembered for his compassion, devotion and dedication to the people with special needs and the elderly citizens of New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Eugenia Mable Gallegos; and brothers, Luciano, Cosme, Paul and Sam Gallegos. He is survived by his children: Peggy Brewer and husband Scott, Ben Jr. and wife Rhonda, Patti Griego, Susan Halford and husband Richard; sister, Flora Gary of Silver City; brother, Martin Gallegos of Fullerton, California; grandchildren: Shannon Griego, Steve Lucero, Leah Lucero (Ryan Garica), Ben, Miguel, Ashley, Erik and Jeremy Gallegos and Sydney B. Halford; great grandchildren: Kali Gallegos and Gwen Xochitl Garcia; and numerous other relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers: Luciano Lucky Varela, Patricio Serna, Joe Roybal and Governor Bruce King. PADILLA -- Antonio Jose Padilla Died at the family home on upper Canyon Road on August 11, 2009. He was 87 years old. He is survived by his sisters: Rosie Gallegos and Adelina LeFebre; sisters-in-law: Eloyda Garcia and husband Rudy; Ziola Rivera; and brother-in-law, Matias Rivera. He is also survived by his six children: his daughter, Carmen Carrillo and husband Michael Kuhlewind, their children: Andrew and Mike (Connie) Carrillo; his son, Leo Padilla and children: Joseph Padilla, Celina Varela, Tanya, Antonio and Matthew Padilla; his daughter, Maria Padilla Enyart and husband Steve, their daughter, Marisol; his daughter, Cesaria (Cia) Tapia and children: Donna (Mark) Gurule, Bianca and Steven Barela; daughter, Ana Padilla and her daughter Marisa Danielson; and his son Carlos Padilla and children David, Nicole and Arianne Padilla. MARTINEZ -- Alice Mary, age 75, of Corrales, NM, born November 4, 1933 passed away peacefully at the Presbyterian Hospice unit on Monday August 3 2009 after a long battle with diabetes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Felicita Santillanes, who passed on November of 1972. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Benny Martinez; along with her six children, all from Albuquerque, Lawrence Gallegos and wife Chickie, Linda Patino and husband Tony, Sammy Gallegos Jr, Vincent Gallegos and wife Gloria, Geri Gallegos, and Bernadette Gallegos; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in law and many friends. All services will be held at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, at the corner of 4th street and 300 Mildred NW. A rosary will be recited on Friday, August 7th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday August 8th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. by Father Javier. Pallbearers will be Juan Gallegos, Aidan Gallegos, Tony Patino, Lorenzo Patino, Pete Martinez and, Rudy Martinez. Cremation will take place after all the services.

GALLEGOS -- Bertha Gallegos passed away Friday July 31, 2009. Bertha was born on September 5, 1948. She was so loved by her family and friends. She will be missed by all of us who knew her. She was one to never complain-"I'm A OK" were her favorite words. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and brother Eloy. She is survived by her sons, Nathan and Phillip (Jolene); her husband Gary; eight grandchildren, Faith, Crystal, Derek, Jasmine, Shandi, Nikko, Seth and Ayden; brother Daniel (Barbara); sisters Prescilla, Ester and Erminda and a very special brother-in-law, Sal. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own children. For her many friends, she also loved you all so very much-thank you. We would like to also thank the staff from Hematology Oncology Associates, Presbyterian Hospital, Home Health Care and Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to Bertha. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday August 5, 2009 at Queen of Heaven Parish 5311 Phoenix Ave NE at 1:00 in the afternoon.
