GARCIA, EZEQUEIL M. Our beloved companion, brother, grandfather and friend was born on April 17, 1943 in Albuquerque and went to his eternal rest on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Albuquerque at age 71. He was retired from Asplundh after 30 years. Ezequeil was a long time member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Mr. and Mrs. Frank Garcia; brother, Mike Garcia and nephew, Lawrence Garcia. Ezequeil is survived by his life companion Phyllis Ulibarri; step children, Janice Rael and Sammy, Manuel Ulibarri and Anna, Laurie Ulibarri, Bill Ulibarri and Sandra, Dave Ulibarri and Ramona; two brothers, Robert Garcia and Nicki and Dalfino Garcia and Rosala; two sisters, Gloria Gomez and Geogia Dodson; sister-in-law, Diane Garcia; thirty seven, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW on Wednesday, March 11, 2015. A Rosary will be recited at 8:15 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 AM. RAMIREZ, CATHERINE V. age 76, born May 26, 1938 to Alonzo & Francisca Van Damme of Albuquerque, NM and a resident of Albuquerque, entered into her Eternal Home, Saturday, March 7, 2015. Catherine is survived by her husband, of fifty nine and a half years, Tony P. Ramirez; children, Michael A. Ramirez and wife, Jane, Kathleen Ramirez, JoAnn Montoya and husband, John, Collette Archuleta and husband, Gary; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Catherine was preceded in death by her son, Thomas, and grandson, Jonathan Montoya. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt and friend. Catherine's pride and joy was her family for whom she cooked a Spanish dinner every Monday. She was a loyal servant in the Roman Catholic Community, and was a member of the Franciscan 3rd Order, the Legion of Mary, a Eucharist Minister, and was involved in the prison ministry in her younger years. Catherine taught Catechism and Confirmation for twenty-four years to hundreds of children at Queen of Angels Chapel, Santa Ana Pueblo, and Sandia Pueblo. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Aquinas Newman Catholic Center 1815 Las Lomas Rd. NE. Final visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Aquinas Newman Catholic Center . Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Archuleta, Adam Archuleta, Steven Archuleta, James Archuleta, Jacob Montoya, Jerry Sandoval. BARTOW, MARGIE S. Margie S. Bartow lost her battle with lung cancer on March 5, 2015 at age 81. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 20, 1933 in Lehi, Utah and graduated from Provo High School in 1951. She married Harold Erekson in 1952 and they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1959. She spent the next 20 years raising her children and being involved in their school activities. She married Charles Bartow (Chuck) in 1972. They enjoyed many happy years traveling and spending time with family and friends. Margie was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bartow and her parents Wright and Susan Seal. She is survived by sister Sally Davenport and niece, Debbie Griego; her four children Cheri Hunt (Bart), Brad Erekson (Terri), Sally Pickering (Earl), and Susan File (J.D.); her eight grandchildren Shaina Hunt, Ereka Hunt, Lindsey Knoblock (Adam), Steve Erekson, Valerie Weadock (Sean), Natalie Wieland (Andy), Justin File and Kelly File; and five great-grandchildren Seth Weadock, Emily Weadock, Ryan Wieland, Owen Wieland, Aubree File; and step-daughter Cherise Manning (Rusty) and her children Kyle and Kayla. Margie worked most of her life in the service industry. Her favorite activities included reading, bridge, bowling, watching Nascar racing and the Dallas Cowboys, attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, and traveling to Florida. She loved spending time with her friends watching a sports event, eating a good meal or having a drink together. She was fond of animals, especially dogs and turtles. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00 am, at French Mortuary at 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Pallbearers will be: Brad Erekson, Bart Hunt, Earl Pickering, J.D. File, Justin File, and Steven Erekson. DANIEL, BILLY B. Age 84, longtime resident of Albuquerque, died February 25, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Barbara; children, Debra Billings and husband Walter, Steven Daniel and wife Kathy, Linda Calvin, and Larry Daniel and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Shari and Cynthia, Michael and Elizabeth, John Isaac and Angelina Rose; and six great-grandchildren. Bill served 22 years in the United States Air Force and several years as a manager at Plateau Supply. After retirement, he volunteered at Kirtland AFB pharmacy and enjoyed square dancing, bridge, traveling and camping with family and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria Rd. NE, Albuquerque, 87112. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Interment will take place at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on Monday, March 9, 2015 honoring his military service. GIBSON, ALMA the daughter of Cecil and Nora (Pryor) Leslie went to meet her Heavenly Father February 14, 2015 after a long illness. She was born on August 14, 1929 in Kokomo, Indiana. Upon graduating from Kokomo High School in 1948, she married Richard W. Bechdol. They had three children and lived in Indiana until 1962 when they moved to Corrales, New Mexico. After divorcing in 1965, Alma worked in both the NM State Legislature and in Governor Campbell's office. Following her years of public service, she became a realtor working for Walker Hinkle and Tom Stribling real estate firms. Alma moved to Southern California in 1979 where she met and married Samuel Gibson, who preceded her in passing. She returned to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1992. In 2005 she moved to Houston, Texas for a short time before returning to New Mexico to live the remainder of her life. Alma is survived by three children - Julia A. Griffith of Houston, Texas, Janet Porter-Carrejo (Andy) of Apache Creek, New Mexico, James W. Bechdol (Shannon) of Helena, Montana; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Alma was preceded in death by siblings - John D. Leslie, Dorothy J. Rinehart, William Leslie, and Steven C. Leslie. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Reserve Presbyterian Church with Michael Shriver officiating in Reserve, NM. Alma Gibson's final resting place will be in the Carrejo Family Cemetery in Apache Creek, NM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alma's memory to Good Sam's, P.O. HANN, ALMA C. (SELBY) Age 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Hahn and husband, Dave; son, Kenneth Selby; grandchildren, Steven Hahn and wife Sarah and Michael Hahn, Nicole Alma Selby, Martha Baldwin and husband Dr. Ivan Ortiz, Keith Baldwin, and James and Marcus Davalos; great- grandchildren, Leon Abrams, Ivan and Andres Ortiz, Brooke Baldwin, and Jacob; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends. Alma was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles F. Selby, Jr. and James H. Hann; granddaughter, Sarah Baldwin; siblings, G.W. Collinsworth, Roxie Adams, Myrtle Howard, Curtis Collinsworth, Leslie Collinsworth, Delphia Howard, Peachie Howard, and Clarence Collinsworth. She was born in 1921 in the hills of Wheelersburg, KY and attended Berea College. Alma moved to Newport News, VA during WWII to work in the shipyards. After the war, she attended Charles' Beauty School where she met her first husband, Charles. They moved to Albuquerque in 1948. Alma continued to work in the field of cosmetology and put Charles through business school at UNM. She dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. In 1985, she married James H. Hann and they owned and managed several rental properties throughout Albuquerque. Alma loved attending to her garden and her beautiful expansive backyard. She enjoyed playing with a neighborhood bridge group. Alma always inquired about everyone's family and wanted to know how they were doing. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be Keith Baldwin, James Davalos, Marcus Davalos, Steven Hahn, Michael Hahn and Brian Hughes. LINCOLN, LILLIAN A. Age 98, a resident of Tijeras since April 1, 1958, died Friday, February 20, 2015. She is survived by her children, William R. "Bill" Lincoln Jr and wife, Elizabeth of CA, Judith Banister and husband, Jerry of Edgewood, NM and Arlene Brummett and husband, Glenn of Edgewood, NM; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William Richard Lincoln; her daughter, Lynette A. Stout; grandsons, Steven and Lee Banister and sister, Arlene Beryl Sherrill. She was born in 1916 in Pontiac, MI to Ernest Cranston and Edith Beryl (Axford) Inwood. She married Richard on October 13, 1936 in San Diego, CA where he was stationed in the Navy. They moved to New Mexico in 1958 and became active in raising and showing Arabian horses and later Beagles. Lillian and Richard were founding members of Forest Meadow Baptist Church in Tijeras. Lillian's family would like to express a special thanks to her caregivers, Colleen McGuire and her husband, Joe and Heritage Hospice for their friendship and wonderful loving care. LOPEZ, BILLY DON Age 47, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born December 25, 1967 raised in Albuquerque and lived here all his life. He graduated from West Mesa in 1986. He is survived by parents Orpha Tachias Lopez and Herman Lopez; sister Debbie Baca; his brothers Joseph Lopez & Johnathan Lopez; nieces JudyAnn Baca and Jennifer Grillo; nephew Steven Baca; and much more extended family. He went to bingo with his mother every month and really enjoyed the time he spent with her. He loved the Cowboys and was always ready and eager to watch a game. Billy had a great sense of humor. Along with a great smile. He was always ready and willing to help out a family member. You were a great son, brother, uncle and friend and you will be missed. Go be with the angels. We love you forever. Services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home , 225 San Mateo Blvd NE on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, visitation will be at 10am, Rosary at 11am and Mass at 11:30am.
