GARCIA, MARY LOUISE (WEEZIE) Mary Louise (Weezie) Garcia (nee Segura) went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2014 at the age of 79. She was born on August 24, 1935 in Villanueva, NM to Margaret Tenorio Segura and Willie Segura. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roman Garcia, Sr.; her children, Alex J Saiz, Jr., and Cyndee (Saiz) Dale; and her brother William Segura, Jr. She is survived by her love and companion, Eddie S. Garcia; her children, Julianne (Angel) Telles, Emily (Tom) Saavedra, Linda (Gilbert) Benavidez, Eddie Jr (Diane) Garcia, Becky (Joe) Martinez, and Roman (Ray) Garcia, Jr.; 16 grandchildren, Stephven, David, Evelyn, Desiree (TonyMichael), Monique (Jake), Ross Jr., Christian, Brittany (Allan), Logan, Nick (Maggie), Alysse (Kyle), Elena (Cole), Heather (Jason), Therese, Annie, and Adam; two great-granddaughters, Vanessa and Michaela; brothers and sisters, Clem (Stephanie) Segura, Ruby (George) Marquez, Bertha (Carlos) Gallegos, Harry Segura, Doris Vargas, Martha Muiz, Rosemary Garcia, Joe (Vivian) Garcia, and Mabel Williamson; special cousins, Richard, Margret, Johnny (Nancy), and Bobby (Ava) Quintana; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Weezie resided in Sandia Park for 38 years and is a retired educator (Mrs. Saiz) from Estancia Public Schools during the years of 1969-1995 who left lasting impressions on all her students and colleagues. Weezie's hobbies and interests included listening to music, dancing, gardening, arts and crafts, spectator sports, including Lobo and NFL football, cooking and hosting family/friend gatherings, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. We will miss her radiant and infections smile and laughter, her kindness and her unconditional love. SANCHEZ, NAT Natividad "Nat" Sanchez, 72, of Vaughn, NM, passed away at his home Tuesday, June 10, 2014 following an illness. Nat was born April 26, 1942 in Duran, NM to the home of Jose Antonio and Consepcion (Valencia) Sanchez. He grew up in Duran and graduated from Encino High School in 1961. Nat married Maria Dolores Aragon on August 11, 1962. They made their home in Vaughn. He was employed with Hodges Oil Company for 19 years before joining E.N.M.R. Telephone Co-Op where he worked for 20 years. Nat was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a 3rd Degree Knight, a Captain with the Vaughn Fire Department, served on the Vaughn School Board for eight years, and the Vaughn Housing Authority Board. Nat also ranched at Pinos Wells and enjoyed deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews Gary Dean Archibeque and Vincent Sanchez. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dolores Sanchez of the family home in Vaughn; three daughters Josephine Baca of Alamogordo, Kristine Hansen and husband Pete of Albuquerque, Natalie Tenorio and husband Curt of Edgewood; one son Natividad Sanchez and his wife Marie of Edgewood; and son-in-law Frank Baca of Alamogordo. Also surviving are seven siblings, three brothers Joe (Alice) Sanchez of Albuquerque, Don (Bernice) Sanchez of Vaughn, Abenicio (Stella) Sanchez of Indian Hills, NM; four sisters Luggi (Paul) Madrid of Vaughn, Barbara (Norbert) Archibeque of Vaughn, Dora (Ramon) Marquez of Moriarty, and Sandra (G.P.) Sandoval of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren Dominique Calderon of Alamogordo, Sonya Baca of Alamogordo, Natalie Hansen of Albuquerque, Andrea Snyder of San Diego, California; Zachary Tenorio, Lexie Tenorio, Monique Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, and Isaac Sanchez all of Edgewood; along with 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Vaughn, NM. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, June 14, 2014 from the church, with Father Paul Nkumbi officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Vaughn, NM. Pallbearers will include his three brothers Joe, Don, and Abenicio Sanchez, and three grandsons Zachary Tenorio, Isaiah Sanchez, Isaac Sanchez, and great-grandson Arturo Baca. ROMERO, ELISEO (AL) Age 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. He is survived by his children, Michael and wife, Allene, Leroy and companion, Ann, Ronald and wife, Bert and Theresa and companion, Bryon; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Adrian, Leon, Christopher, Arron, Caroline, Jerome and Denise; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Beatrice; Al is also survived by his companion, Erlinda; her family, Nadine Trujillo and husband, Johnny, Laura Diaz and husband, Edward, Paul Marquez and companion, Debra, Randy Marquez and wife, Elicia; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Epimenia; brothers, Frank, Ernest Tranqulino and Trinidad; sisters, Elisida, Rebecca and Placida; and Matthew Diaz. GARCIA, VIRGINIA M. age 57, of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Abel A. Garcia. One son Charles and wife Michelle; four daughters, Naomi and husband Scott, Amber and husband Dominick, Victoria and husband Gabriel, and her youngest daughter, Linda. Eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandson; four sisters, Agatha and husband Joe, Sindy and husband Lupe, Sylvia and husband Jerry, Lori and husband Ray. One brother, Billy Dean and wife Lisa. OLGUIN, FLORENCIO passed away peacefully at his home, at the age of 73, with his wife, son and daughter by his side. He was resident of Albuquerque, NM. Florencio was born on December 2, 1938 to Jesus Olguin and Maria Marquez Olguin in Milagro, NM. Florencio passed away on November 5, 2012. Florencio was an honorable and humble man. He was drafted into the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a licensed barber turned into a professional boxer, known as the "Boxing Barber"and from boxing he went into the Bernalillo county Sheriff Department as a Sheriff 's Deputy, promoted to a Sergeant and retired as a Lieutenant. All who knew Florencio were affected by his love and honesty. Florencio will be missed, but Jesus and all of Heaven is rejoicing to have such a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend amongst them. He is preceded in death by his parents Jesus Olguin and Maria Marquez Olguin, his sisters Caroline Olguin and Reyes Maez and his brothers Antonio and Joey Olguin, his Father-in-Law Amadeo Tenorio Sr., Mother-in-Law Clara Tenorio, Brother-in-Law Amadeo Tenorio Jr., and Sister-in-Law Dulce Maestas Tenorio..
