Norman a survivor of the great depression in which his childhood consisted of working many challenging jobs to help support his parents during their hard time. His younger years greatly influenced the self made man he became and inspired the way he lived his life. Married November 1, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to his wife of 65 years, Wilma Lee Daughter "the prettiest little girl he ever had seen and still just as pretty to this day" where his words he often expressed. Always eager to make a better life for him and his family he became a successful self-employed Real Estate Broker which he continued doing for the rest of his working career. Norman loved bird watching from the porch, growing vegetables in his green house garden and wood working in his barn. He lived out the rest of his life with the love of his life, Wilma in their home built in 1977 with his own hands over looking Albuquerque from beneath the Sandia Mountains. He always showed sincere interest in their lives and the lives of all those around him. He had a gift of making friends with everyone he encountered and leaving them feeling better about themselves if not completely entertained.
