ADCOX-MOYERS -- Debra Ann, 53, passed on January 10, 2009. Debra was born in Albuquerque August 7, 1955. Debra was someone who focused her life to making others happy. A dedicated mother and grandmother who was preceded in death by her husband James Freddie Moyers. Survived by Bill and Maija Adcox her parents. Her daughter, Maija Moyers; and granddaughter Skylar Aurora Lashinski. Also by brothers and sister Steve & Rita, Mark & Barbara, and Tammy Adcox. CARRICK -- Paul D. Carrick Paul was born July 5, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois. Paul passed away at home with his family by his side January 1, 2009. He was 56. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he graduated from Highland High School and was Branch Manager of Tricor Braun. He is survived by his son, Daniel R. Carrick; Daniel's Mother, Siobhan Carrick; mother, Marjorie Carrick; and brother, Robert Carrick. He was preceded in death by his father, David Carrick. He is sorely missed by his many friends and family. He is now at peace and out of pain. We all love and miss you so very much! CHAVEZ -- Prospero Chavez, Jr., 79, passed away January 08, 2009. Prospero was born on May 17, 1929 to Proceso Chavez and Elijia Sanchez in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prospero Chavez was a member of an elite group of men and women known as Professional Soldier. Prospero spent 42 years in the United States Army and also the New Mexico Army National Guard. He achieved the prestigious rank of Command Sergeant Major and as such commandeered the entire State of New Mexico enlisted ranks. He was exemplary in his military life and earned many citations and was decorated with many medals, including the United States Army Service Medal issued by the War Department. To understand the man one must understand his compassion for crypto-Jewish history, reading, genealogy, ham radio operations, fishing, and his involvement with his religious devotion and patriotism. He was also a ward chairperson for his Albuquerque neighborhood. As a Ward Chairperson he was instrumental in making decisions that made the neighborhood safer, cleaner and a much better place to live. He improved the quality of life for the residents. Prospero was a member of American Legion Post 49; past National Vice President of the National Federation of Federal Employees; past Ward Chairperson; Member: Valley of Santa Fe Orient of New Mexico 32nd degree Scottish Rite Freemason; Member: Temple Lodge #6 Master Mason. Prospero is also a graduate of Albuquerque High School, and many prestigious military schools earning numerous certifications and proficiencies. On January 8, 2009 the sad overture of "Taps" was overheard and Sgt. Major Chavez was called to its tune. He died peacefully at St. John Healthcare and Rehab Ctr. with his wife, Mary Ann and numerous family members and friends at his side. All those present expressed completely their love and devotion to this wonderful man in his final hours. His surviving family is quite large and extended. He is survived by his exceptionally devoted and caring wife, Mary Ann of 54 years and his sister Virginia Armijo. He has five children Deborah, Glenn, Keith, Yvette and Denise with their spouses or significant others. His grandchildren are: Joseph, Bernadette, Vincent, Helen, Sara, Aaron, Samuel, Daniel, Shawn, Alejandro, Angelica, Christina, Joshua, Brandon, Heather, Amber, and Zarya. His great-grandchildren are: Angelina, Abraham, Ashianna, Isaiah, Abigail, Isabel, Vincent Jr., Rene, Avianna, Isaiah Prospero, Teresa, Natasha, Jericho, Jaaziah, Vera Lynn, Brandon Jr., and Savannah. His great-great grandson is Elijah. He has many Friends, cousins and his Aunt Emma and his Nieces, and Nephews. We will miss him dearly and we wish him well. The family thanks Amber Care and St. Johns Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care given. Memorial Service is Friday, January 16, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., at the "Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church", 9500 4th Street NW. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. CROSBY -- Karen Lynn Crosby, 52, resident of Los Lunas, went to God's arms Sunday, January 11, 2009. She is survived by her life partner and best friend, Asa Watts; her daughters, Stacy Beske Radford and husband, Andrew, and Rachel Kane and husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Jillian, Ryan, Kaedyn, Skylar, and Addison; mother, Maurine Wells; sister, Judy Pergola and husband, Robert; brother, Steve Kaase and wife, Diana; and nieces and nephews, Steve, Aaron, Robin, Ryan, Alena, Russel, Ana, and Alyssa. DAVIS -- Helen "Eileene" Davis, age 64, of Albuquerque, passed away in her home on January 7, 2009, after a long fought and courageous battle with cancer. Helen is survived by her husband, Parke, of 31 years; daughter Kate Davis-Butters and her husband Nathan Butters; one granddaughter, Kylie Kathryn Butters; two brothers (both residing in England, UK), John Radnor and wife Carol, and Philip Radnor and wife Patricia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Radnor. Born in Bellshill, Scotland, on March 23, 1944, as Helen Marian Radnor, Helen lived in the United Kingdom until meeting her husband in 1977. She moved to New Mexico in 1993 and later found work at the U.S. Department of Energy as an administrator. Helen loved her family and friends dearly; she cherished every moment spent with them, especially her granddaughter. Helen was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. At her request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 16, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at the Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, Albuquerque. Internment will follow. GONZALEZ -- Michael (Sam) J. Gonzalez, 42, a resident of Albuquerque and a life long resident of New Mexico, was born on April 13, 1966 in Gallup, New Mexico, passed away January 8, 2009. Sam is survived by his mother, Gloria Lee; sister, Julie Nelson and husband, Alvin; brother, Dominic Lee; nephew, Dominic Scar; his niece, Alexis Lee; his grandmother, Ida Kiro of Gallup, NM; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Hamilton Lee; and his grandfather, Frank Kiro. Sam attended school in Gallup and Albuquerque, graduating from Albuquerque High in 1984 ,he attended UNM, the University of Phoenix and finishing at Cornell University. Sam was director of human resources at Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico until the time of his death. GUTIERREZ -- Nathaniel (Nathan) E. Gutierrez went to be with Our Lord on January 12, 2009. He was born in Cuba, NM on August 1, 1960. Nathan was the son of Moises and Martha Gutierrez who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Angelo, three brothers and one sister. HINDE -- John (Jack) Edward Clarkson Hinde, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009. He was born and raised in Illinois, where he earned a masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois. Jack is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise, who moved with him to New Mexico in 1953. Jack worked for Sandia National Laboratories for 32 years, and after retiring, continued working for the DOE. He was very active with the Boy Scouts over the years, being an Eagle Scout himself. Jack will be remembered as an avid fisherman, who loved the outdoors, particularly the beautiful Rainy Lake district in Canada. He leaves behind a brother, David and wife, Ellen Hinde of Illinois; children, Tom and wife, Judy Hinde of Las Cruces, Jim and wife, Lea Ann Hinde of Albuquerque, Matt and wife, Pili Hinde of Las Cruces, Susan and husband, Don Rinehart of Albuquerque, Paul and wife, Kaylene Weeks of Albuquerque and grandchildren, Heather and husband, Jay Adkins, Matthew Hinde, Paul Hinde, JJ Hinde, Paul and wife, Debora Husler, and David Heusler, Scott Rinehart and Brian Rinehart. JARAMILLO -- Ted (Teodocio) Jaramillo, beloved father and grandfather died surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Mr. Jaramillo was born on February 11, 1920. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII. As a longtime resident of Albuquerque, Mr. Jaramillo was a parishioner of San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. He is survived by his children, Leroy (Ben) Jaramillo and wife Katie, Mary Trujillo and husband Frank, Steve Jaramillo and wife Patricia and Arlene Jaramillo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jaramillo was preceded in death by his loving wife, Florinda, and his sons, Gilbert and David. He was the sole surviving sibling of his family. Services will held at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. A Rosary will be recited for Mr. Jaramillo at San Felipe, on Thursday evening, January 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2008 at 11:00 am. KRAEMER -- Jacob J. Kraemer IV, 60, passed away quickly from cancer in his home, January 10, 2009. He is formerly of Carpentersville, IL. He was born November 11, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Jacob and Leona Kraemer who preceded him in death. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. REYNOLDS -- Fred Reynolds, 60, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, January 2, 2009. Fred was born and raised in Albuquerque and lived in the Bay Area for many years before moving home. He is survived by his son, Alex; sister, Lou Ella; nieces, Gina and Elena; nephews, Dante and Nathan; and many friends. To say that Fred lived an extraordinary life would be an understatement. He knew Bill W. and had been clean and sober for over 25 years. Those whose lives Freddy touched will feel his absence. RODRIGUEZ -- Arthur (Art) R. Rodriguez, 55, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 12, 2009 with his family by his side. Art was a beloved father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother and friend to everyone he come in contact with. His legacy of friendship, loyalty and kindness will live on through his son, daughters, and grandchildren. ROYBAL -- Jake Roybal, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Roybal is survived by his daughters, Emily Preston and husband, Paul, Gloria Lucero and husband Joe, and Kathryn Trujillo; his sons, Ron Roybal and wife, Linda, Gary Roybal and Russell Roybal; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Roybal was a veteran of the US Navy, serving his country during World War II. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all. RUSSELL -- Thomas G. Russell, passed away on January 10, 2009 after a long illness. He was 86. Tom was born on November 12, 1922 in Minot, North Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Katherine Russell and his brother, Antony. He is survived by his son, Tony T. Russell of Albuquerque and his grandson, Lt. Cmdr. Greg Russell of New York City, brother, Gerald G. Russell, nephew, Thomas M. Russell and niece, Katherine Babic, all of Albuquerque; as well as many cousins in Canada, Greece and the USA. Tom owned and operated Tommy's Tap Room on North Fourth Street for 25 years. Later, he was affiliated with several high and middle schools as an operator of their snack bars. He was an ardent hunter, fisherman and trapshooter. He especially loved hunting Canada geese. Rev. Father Paul will officiate at the Graveside Services at Sunset Memorial Park on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. French Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

SPENCER -- Carolyn Ann Spencer, 70, born November 17, 1938 in Kermit, TX, one of ten children to Ruby and Wallace Roderick. Carolyn passed away peacefully on January 11, 2009. Always the fighter, Carolyn courageously faced numerous life threatening surgeries and always amazed everyone with her will and determination. Carolyn married George Spencer, the love of her life, in Hawaii on April 17, 1954. Carolyn was a high energy and passionate worker who was devoted to her family. She was also a loyal employee of Albuquerque Public Schools for many years until her retirement in 1993 when she and George moved to Elephant Butte. Not one to be idle for long, she began a second career with the hospital in T or C until she retired again in 2000. She was preceded in death five years prior by her husband of 49 years, George Spencer. Carolyn is survived by her loving and supportive family three sons, George R Spencer Jr., and his wife Penny of Rio Rancho, NM, Andrew A. Spencer and his wife Helen of Monument, CO and Thomas E. Spencer and wife Colleen of Vancouver, WA; four grandchildren, Tracy Spencer, Katrina Looney, Shane and Troy Spencer. Carolyn is also survived by her loving sisters, Jeannie Nelson and Mary Lou Babcock. She also had many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by us all. A Life Remembrance Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday the 17th at the First Baptist Church at 3906 19th Ave. in Rio Rancho.

WEBB -- Jason Matthew Webb, by his own request, aka The Animal, was born on December 6, 1968 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He died in the arms of his loving Saviour on Sabbath morning, January 10, 2009 in Mayfield, Kentucky. He was the beloved son of George and Melanie Webb; and brother of Kehaulani of Albuquerque. The beloved son of Gloria Webb of Mayfield, Kentucky; and sister of Tina of Montana. Also many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends survive him. Jason's passion in life was motorcycles. He had a heart of gold and would have given the shirt off his back to anyone needing it. He willed his body to science. He will be greatly missed. We wait for a reunion on resurrection morning.
