Obituary for JARAMILLO

Ted (Teodocio) Jaramillo, beloved father and grandfather died surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Mr. Jaramillo was born on February 11, 1920. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII. As a longtime resident of Albuquerque, Mr. Jaramillo was a parishioner of San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. He is survived by his children, Leroy (Ben) Jaramillo and wife Katie, Mary Trujillo and husband Frank, Steve Jaramillo and wife Patricia and Arlene Jaramillo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Jaramillo was preceded in death by his loving wife, Florinda, and his sons, Gilbert and David. He was the sole surviving sibling of his family. Services will held at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. A Rosary will be recited for Mr. Jaramillo at San Felipe, on Thursday evening, January 15, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, immediately following the Services. Serving as pallbearers will be, David Jaramillo Jr., Jacob Jaramillo, Jeremy Jaramillo, Andrew Rocha and Jonathan Tafoya. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb and Julian Jaramillo, Isaiah Rambes and Amadeus Roacha. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. ABQ., 505-343-8008
