GONZALEZ -- Michael (Sam) J. Gonzalez, 42, a resident of Albuquerque and a life long resident of New Mexico, was born on April 13, 1966 in Gallup, New Mexico, passed away January 8, 2009. Sam is survived by his mother, Gloria Lee; sister, Julie Nelson and husband, Alvin; brother, Dominic Lee; nephew, Dominic Scar; his niece, Alexis Lee; his grandmother, Ida Kiro of Gallup, NM; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sam was preceded in death by his father, Hamilton Lee; and his grandfather, Frank Kiro. Sam attended school in Gallup and Albuquerque, graduating from Albuquerque High in 1984 ,he attended UNM, the University of Phoenix and finishing at Cornell University. Sam was director of human resources at Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico until the time of his death. Visitation will be Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., Deacon Pablo LeFebre, presider. Pallbearers will be Dominic Lee, Alvin Nelson, Michael A. Kiro, Augustine Chavez, Laura Locicero and Julie Nelson. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
