WEHRLE -- Paul David Wehrle, 62, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on May 3, 2008. He was a lifetime resident of New Mexico, born in Las Vegas in 1945. He came to live in Albuquerque in 1962, attended Sandia High School and was a Navy Veteran. His two loves were his grandson Ryan and the New York Yankees. He was an extraordinary man - very loving, honorable and generous - a rare and precious gift. ALLAN -- Jewel Dean Civerolo Allan, 95, passed away May 6, 2008 in Albuquerque. Jewel was a long time resident of Los Lunas and Gallup. Jewel was born August 8, 1912, in Gilmore OK. She had nine siblings and is survived by two of her sisters, her twin Opal of Poteau, OK and Lorene also Poteau. Jewel moved to the southwest in the early 1930's where she was one of the famed Harvey Girls, serving both in the Grand Canyon and Gallup, NM. In 1939 she married Art Civerolo and settled in Gallup. This marriage produced four daughters. Art passed away in 1969. Jewel married Robert H. "Bob" Allan on Christmas in 1971. In 1994 Bob and Jewel moved to Los Lunas to be closer to their family. Bob passed away in 1998. Jewel belonged to the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Los Lunas. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the BPO Does. Jewel is survived by her four daughters, Nancy Minor and her husband, Gene, of Aztec, NM, Linda Hamilton and her husband, Tommy, of Albuquerque, Ellen Tomberlin and her husband, Larry, of Los Lunas, and Jolene Day and her husband, Phil, of Albuquerque; and one son, Pete Allan and his wife, Diana, of Albuquerque. Jewel is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Isaacs. Visitation will be held at the Aspen Funeral home, 1935 Juan Tabo N.E. from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 7, 2008. Reverend Robert Mundy will conduct Services on Thursday May 8, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church on the New Mexico State, Los Lunas Campus. Internment will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Gallup, NM on Friday, May 9, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, P.O. BERGS -- Agnes Bergs, 76, of Albuquerque, was born in Colby, Wisconsin on November 21, 1931, and passed away on May 3, 2008. She was an extraordinary wife, mom, and grandma. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Victor; her children, Michael Bergs, Daniel Bergs and wife, Anita, Karen Ledezma and husband, Art, and Kathy Bergs and partner, Debbie; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Jenn, Carrie, Brandie, and David; one great-granddaughter, Madeline; one brother; and four sisters. We will always remember her wit, laughter, and her ability to make everyone smile. A Rosary will be held at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE at 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2008. BUCKWALD -- Elmer Earl Buckwald, 82, also known as "Buck" The Plumber, former owner of Allstate Plumbing and Heating, and superintendent of the Sims Towers passed away surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren on May 5, 2008. Mr. Buckwald was born in Erie, PA and made Albuquerque his home for the past fifty years. His handy work can still be seen today when you visit the tramway, where he laid the original water pipes. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Angie Buckwald; children, Vicki Evans, Loretta Ann Guerra and husband, Celso, Glenn Wilson Trotter, Abran Michael Trotter and wife, Maria; six grandchildren, Terrie, Chris, Englenn and husband, Randy, Adan, Legenn, and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Sam, and Elyse; best friend, Jane Battan; and many other extended family members. Mr. Buckwald was a US Navy veteran of W.W.II, a member of the N.R.A.. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2008, at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m. by Anthony Colson. Cremation has taken place. CHAVEZ -- Margaret "Margie" Chavez was born March 28, 1937. She passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 at the age of 71. Margie was a member of the San Jose Parish. She worked as a Director of El Encanto Day Care Center, where she retired after 25 years of dedicated service. After her retirement, she worked part-time for the United Methodist Church. Margie will be remembered as a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was loved and will be truly missed by her beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vidal "Billy" Chavez; and her mother, Lizzie Mojarro. Margie is survived by her brother, Paul Gurule and wife, Peggy; children, Janet Torres and husband, Gilbert, David Chavez and wife, Mary, Leroy Chavez and wife, Kim, Robert Chavez and wife, Pauline, Berna Bustillos and husband, Chino, Liz Chavez, Analisa and Samantha; seventeen grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. CROCKETT -- Michael. Husband, father, and friend passed to eternal glory and peace on Thursday, May 1, 2008. He joins his beloved mother and stepfather, Betty Jo Foster Starks and Turner Starks, in God's eternal glory. He was born January 11, 1958, in Jackson, TN. The son of William Lee Crockett and Betty Jo Foster and the eldest of eight children, he moved to New Mexico after passing through driving an 18 wheeler and fell in love with the state and its people. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Camille, Frank, Jamey, Melloyd, Daniel, Dajah; and his granddaughters, Miquella, Izabella, Veronnica, and Dajahnah; his siblings, Barry, Hugh, Danny, Vennessa, Debra, Will, Sheila, and Terry; his best friends, Bill and Mary Gandert, Jay and Valerie Rockwell, John and Debra Bryant, and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, brother and sisters-in-law, and friends. HEIDFELD -- Ursula Heidfeld, a resident of Albuquerque since 1997, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2008, after a long illness. She was born on January 17, 1940, in Germany and came to the United States in 1969. Ursula fought cancer with great courage, grace, and spirit for 3 1/2 years. She loved life and laughter and devoted herself to her family. Ursula was a part-time fashion model and past President of the Albuquerque Newcomers Club. She is survived by her former husband, Reinhard Heidfeld to whom she was married for 40 years; her daughters Angela and husband Todd Springer, of California, Gabriele and husband Eric Herold of California, and Katja and husband Larry Hyman of San Antonio, TX. Ursula also is survived by her grandchildren, Tessa and Zachary Springer and Jessica and Brandon Herold. Her family and many friends close by and far away miss her so much and say good-bye. HERNANDEZ -- Thomas L. Hernandez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 1, 2008. Thomas enjoyed the love of music, which included playing the drums and singing. He was employed by APS for 17 years and loved by all of the teachers and children at Chaparral Elementary School. He was preceded in death by his father, Tomas Hernandez. Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Hernandez; sons, Thomas Ricardo Hernandez, Martin P. Hernandez and Gabriel A. Hernandez; extended family: his mother, Manuela Hernandez; brothers, Jose Hernandez and wife Sara, Gavino Hernandez and wife Loretta, Jessie Hernandez and wife Gloria; Mike Hernandez and wife, Carmen, Santos Hernandez and wife, Diane, Louis Hernandez and wife, Linda, Rosilio Hernandez and wife, Brenda; sisters, Mary Hernandez, Rose Hernandez, Romona and Erasmo Campos, Theresa and Barney Barela; grandchildren, Matthew, Martin, Mariah, and Jasmine; many nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.
