Obituary for BUCKWALD

Elmer Earl Buckwald, 82, also known as "Buck" The Plumber, former owner of Allstate Plumbing and Heating, and superintendent of the Sims Towers passed away surrounded by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren on May 5, 2008. Mr. Buckwald was born in Erie, PA and made Albuquerque his home for the past fifty years. His handy work can still be seen today when you visit the tramway, where he laid the original water pipes. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Angie Buckwald; children, Vicki Evans, Loretta Ann Guerra and husband, Celso, Glenn Wilson Trotter, Abran Michael Trotter and wife, Maria; six grandchildren, Terrie, Chris, Englenn and husband, Randy, Adan, Legenn, and Michael; three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Sam, and Elyse; best friend, Jane Battan; and many other extended family members. Mr. Buckwald was a US Navy veteran of W.W.II, a member of the N.R.A.. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2008, at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m. by Anthony Colson. Cremation has taken place.
