BARNES -- Howard C. Barnes Howard C. (Hud) Barnes, 68 a resident of Albuquerque, for 25 years, died December 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Becky Barnes of 24 years; One Son, Howard Barnes Jr.; Two Daughters, Tracy Gwash & husband, Brian, Stacy Reed & husband, Jeremy; Three Grandkids, Kylie Barnes, Jacob Gwash & Madison Reed; Two Brothers, John Barnes & wife, Marylou & Robert Barnes & wife, Debbie; One sister, Roberta Neff & husband, Anthony, all of PA; Four Brothers- in- Law, Bill, Robert, Rick & Don Johnson; & numerous Nieces & Nephews. He was a wonderful Husband, Daddy, Papa & a good friend to many & will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. As his wishes, a cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at his daughters home, 12517 Rosemont NE Albuquerque, NM 87112.

CORBO -- Katherine (Kay) Corbo, 77, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1964, passed away on December 15, 2007. She was born in New York City on March 28, 1930. She is preceded in death by her parents, John C & Carmela Corbo, her sister, Joanne C & brother-in-law, Daniel R. St. Germain, and her niece, Anita-Marie. She is servived by her other niece, Cynthia L St. Germain, and great-niece, Katherine & her husband, Jeremy Carpenter and their children, Hailey Renee and Austin Nicholas. Kay was a graduate of Vassar Brother Hospital School of Nursing, class of '50, and received her Bachelors of Science degree from St. Frances College, class of '83. Kay worked for the Public Health Dept. both in Hyde Park, NY and Albuquerque, NM. She was employed with St. Joseph Hospital from 1966-1994. She enjoyed working with the babies and all the wonderful staff she worked with during her years with the hosptial. She also worked at Pickard Presbyterian. She retired from nursing in 2002. The family would like to thank all the friends and family and this time for all of your support during our loss. A Rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. will be said on Friday, December 28, 2007 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM. Cremation was handled by Direct Burial and Funeral Services.

CORONA -- Daniel (Big Head) Corona, 43, born October 2, 1964 passed away December 23, 2007. He was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, NM. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, James (Crown) Corona and son, Daniel Corona. He is survived by his mother, Betty Garcia Corona; son, Daniel James Corona; daughters, Jamie Maria Corona and Alisha Danielle Corona; granddaughter, Destiny Guadalupe Yanez-Corona; siblings, Jamie Kozar, Julian Corona and Consuelo Corona; mother of his children, Cindy Mascareno; and fiancee, Felicia Orona. Daniel lived his life to the fullest. He was a loving father and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Rosary for Daniel will be recited on Friday evening, December 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Ministerio Monte Carmelo with Rev. Julian Johnson presiding, located at 2828 Blanford SW. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Kozar, Chris Corona, Adrian Yanez, Javier Alvidrez, Joseph Michaelback, and Orlando Lujan. COSTANZA -- Angela Costanza, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice on December 22, 2007 with loving family members by her side. She is survived by her two sons, Robert and Joe Costanza; grandchildren, Nadine, Mark, Annie and Joey; three sisters, Rita Tursi, Catherine Canora, and Isabelle Fanuele. Angela was a New Yorker at heart spending her life working and living in "The Big Apple". FLORES -- VIRGILIO M. Mr. Virgilio M. Flores, 67, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on December 21, 2007. Mr. Flores is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-eight years, Gloria; his son, George Flores and wife, Denise; his daughter, Antoinette Flores and husband, Ramon; one brother, Ramon Flores and wife, Antoinette; two sisters, Juven Sainz and husband, Arturo, and Lilia Quezada and husband, Lalo; five grandchildren, Reina, Angie, Gloria, Linda and Christopher; four great-grandchildren, Valentino, Justin, Vanessa, and Lei Lani; his Uncle Basilio Carabajal and wife, Leonor; many other extended family members. FRAIN -- Warren Francis, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007. He was born on September 1, 1916, to parents, Frank Frain and Thora (Hassel) Frain, in Joliet, Illinois. Warren served in the United States Air Force for 31 years, and retired from Kirtland Air Force Base in 1967, holding rank as Senior Master Sergeant. While he was a resident of Albuquerque, NM, Warren also was a Mason of the Blue Lodge Masonic Order. Warren was preceded in death by his son, Jack L. Frain, and his last wife, Elva O. Frain. He is survived by his son, Warren "Dennis" Frain. GARCIA -- Virgil Garcia went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2007 at the age of 85. He was born on May 15, 1922 in Muleshoe, Texas to Alejandro and Maria Garcia. Virgil served in WWII for the United States Army. He loved music and dancing. He was preceded in death by Joe Garcia and Pablo Garcia. He is survived by his companion, Maria F. Valdez; his three sons, Gabriel Garcia and wife, Stella, Daniel Garcia and Arturo Garcia, his sisters, Amelia Urban and husband, Marcos and Augustina Baca and husband, Joe. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great child. He will be missed by all. Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Stover Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary.
