Mcanena -- Lenore McAnena abandoned her mortal body at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2002, and slipped away peacefully while lying in her husband's arms. She died as she lived, with peace, love and concern for those she knew and loved. She did no think of herself as a Saint but those who knew her were inspired and awestruck by the courage and determination she applied to everything she accomplished. She had a strong zest for life, held strong opinions about right and wrong and was never afraid to express herself. Lee believed in justice as well as rectifying injustice. She was a woman whose first thoughts and concerns were always for the feelings and welfare of other people. She never hesitated to go out of her way to help a friend or stranger in need. She lived her life with courage, grace and dignity, challenging all odds with amazing strength of character. She always found the humor and not the negatives¯even in the toughest situation. Lee's greatest accomplishment was a marriage of 32 years, lived with love, thoughtfulness, sharing, happiness and trust with her husband and best friend, Pete. In her husband's words she is his best friend and the love of his life. She touched many lives and her influence will not be forgotten. Her values will last and be passed on for many generations. She was a woman of great accomplishments. As a Sister of Mercy for ten years (Sr. Lucretia), she taught in primary classes in the poorer neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York. Since that time, she became a master gardener and was the recipient of the highest award given by the American Orchid Society for growing cattleyas (corsage orchids). In addition to her achievements cultivating orchids, she was a successful business manager, certified radiologist, phlebotomist, consultant to doctors, doctor's staffs, insurance companies, lawyers and patients, most of whom became her friend. She expressed her creativity and love for people by sharing her gourmet cooking and meals with friends and family. Through her earnings as a custom dressmaker, she helped pay the expenses incurred during her husband's studies for his degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine while they lived in California. Lee died as she lived, with grace and dignity. Although she had been given at least fifty percent more radiation then any person with her type of cancer, Lee lived at least twice as long as others suffering from uterine cancer. She lived a happy, fruitful and productive life right up to the end. In keeping with her character, she made her passing from this world as gentle as possible on those she left behind. Lee attempted to be her very best in whatever she attempted and she always succeeded. Her eternal being lives on in greater glory. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Tudor -- In loving memory of William A. Tudor Jr. (BILLY) DEAR SON AND BROTHER who passed away 12 years ago MARCH 13, 1990. It's been 12 years but yet it seems like only yesterday since we held your hand and told you just how much we loved you, and you quietly slipped away. Twelve years ago your golden heart stopped beating, God took you home to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, HE only takes the best!! MARCH 6th, your 42nd BIRTHDAY, was such a sad and agonizing day. All we could do was visit your crypt, attend your MASS, bring you flowers, with broken hearts we prayed and prayed for hours. If we could have one lifetime wish, one thing that would bring us happiness and bliss, One dream that could come true, we would pray to God with all our hearts for yesterday and YOU!! The hardest thing we ever had to do in life is let you go. A part of us died with you and we love you so! There is not a single minute of every single day, no matter what we say or do, "DEAR BILLY" that we do not miss and think of you. Although it seems like only yesterday when you sat upon our knee, OH, such sweet and precious memories that you have given and left with me! It also seems like only yesterday when you began to talk, and with your tiny hand held tightly and proudly in mine, YOU learned to walk. As precious years have come and gone, I've treasured each and every one. I LOVE and MISS YOU more than words can ever say my DEAR SON!! So parents please LOVE YOUR CHILDREN while you may, for I'd give anything if my son could be alive and with us here today! Nothing is more beautiful than the memories we have of you, to us YOU WERE SOMEONE SPECIAL, we know God thought so too! You will forever be one of the most SPECIAL PEOPLE in our life. When you passed beyond our present sight and left us and the world we know without your RADIANT LIGHT, we all knew that like a candle your BRILLIANT LIGHT WOULD FOREVER SHINE,to brighten up another place MORE PERFECT AND MORE DIVINE! In the realm of HEAVEN where you shine so warm and bright, YOU will live forever in GOD'S ETERNAL LIGHT. YOUR MEMORY is our keepsake, with that we will never part, GOD has you in HIS keeping, we have you in our hearts! You are not forgotten DEAR SON and BROTHER, nor will YOU ever be, as long as our life and memory last we will always love and REMEMBER YOU!! Softly the leaves of memory fall, gently we gather and treasure them all, unseen, unheard you are always near still loved still missed and OH! SO VERY DEAR. IF OUR TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWAY AND HEARTACHES MAKE A LANE, WE WOULD GLADLY WALK TO HEAVEN AND BRING YOU BACK AGAIN. The memories of you are forever etched in our heart, we feel your presence daily and we will never truly be apart! A million times I've needed you, A million times I've cried, if our LOVE alone could have saved you, Billy, you never would have died! So another lonely and tormenting year has passed us by, we will remember our last good-bye, we were all there with you when you breathed your last breath and I held your hand, unless you are a mother and have lost a son or daughter, no one can fully understand!! Your last three words spoken were,"I LOVE YOU" and we all knew the love that was in your heart and mind. They will always be cherished in all of our hearts you left behind. It is so sad but true and we often wonder WHY? The very best are always the first to die? It broke our hearts to lose you, BILLY, but you did not go alone, a part of us went with you, the day GOD called you home. Billy, no matter what life without you brings, one thing for certain you have always been the wind beneath our wings!! SON, THANK YOU FOR BEING SO SPECIAL. YOU JUST KNEW, RIGHT FROM THE START HOW TO BRING JOY TO OUR HEART! YOU JUST KNEW HOW TO LOVE AND TO GIVE, AND YOU DID SUCH SWEET AND WONDERFUL THINGS, EVERY SINGLE DAY THAT YOU WERE ALLOWED TO LIVE. YOU WERE ALWAYS THINKING OF US AND OTHERS, NEVER THINKING OF YOURSELF AND I AM SO PROUD THAT GOD CHOSE ME TO BE YOUR MOTHER!! YOU WERE ALWAYS A BLESSING, FOR ALL THE GOOD THAT YOU DID WHEREVER YOU WENT, SUCH A SWEET WAY OF LIFE, FOR INDEED YOU WERE VERY SPECIAL AND YOU WERE HEAVEN SENT!!! OUR MEMORIES OF YOU REMAIN AS TREASURES SO REAL, FOR YOUR DEATH, BILLY, IS A HEARTACHE EVEN TIME WON'T EVER HEAL!!SADLY MISSED BY YOUR LOVING MOTHER, ROSE ANN AND BROTHER, ROBERT.A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH AT 5:30 P.M. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2002.

When I hear a joke, I remember it to tell you that night in my prayers. At times, I can even hear you laughing in my mind as I fall asleep. Dad, there are so many things about you that I miss. Things like your smile, your jokes, the look on your face when you were concentrating, the pat on the back when I did something very well, but most of all I miss your hugs.
