Ostlie -- Gertrude "Gertie" Ostlie, 96, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 21, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Robert Ostlie and Jim Ostlie and wife, Judy, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ostlie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ostlie; daughter, June Ostlie; and son, Charles Ostlie. She was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church. Gertrude was an example of living her life to the fullest. She loved her Lord, fishing, traveling and her church family. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Christ United Methodist Church, 6200 Gibson Blvd. NE, with Rev. Larry Castillo-Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gertrude Ostlie's name to Christ United Methodist Church, 6200 Gibson Blvd. NE, 87108.
