Chavez -- Beatrice M. Chavez, 71, a resident of Tome, NM has gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2001. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Beatrice was a well known area Avon Sales Representative working with the Avon Corporation for over thirty years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Ignacio and Isabel Moya; her mother-in-law, Beatrice B. Chavez in 2001. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Eloy of the family home in Tome; three children, Priscilla Montano and her husband, Willie of Tome, Louie and Rita Zamora and Marcelino and his wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Erminio Moya and his wife, Rita of Bosque Farms, Tony Moya and his wife, Martha, and Paul and his wife, Ramona, all of Tome; and a very special sister-in-law, Sally Baldonado of Tome. Beatrice is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be held at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m., on Monday, June 25, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 26, with Father Jose A. Hernandez officiating at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tome. Interment will follow services at the Tome Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her three grandsons, Danny Montano; Edric Chavez and Louie Chavez Jr. Leonard Chavez; Edward Sedillo and Tony Padilla. Romero Funeral Home, Belen, NM in charge of arrangements.
