Bartholomew -- Mable Bartholomew, was born in King City, Missouri, March 25, 1917. She passed away at the age of 83 on March 27, 2000. She lived in Albuquerque, the last ten years of her life. Prior to moving here, she lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. During World War II, she worked at an ammunition plant in Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her three sisters, Marthalene Steinfort of Albuquerque, Vandora Loest and Virginia Zimmerman; two brothers, Woodroa Loest and OW Loest; also many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2000 at 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 1, 2000. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2000 at Sandia Memory Gardens with Rev. Thomas V. Collins officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, are in charge of arrangements. Brasher -- Born March 4, 1920 in Santa Rosa, Clarence John (C.J.) Brasher was the son of Clarence J. Brasher and Frances M. Brasher. After attending Catholic University in Washington, DC, Mr. Brasher interrupted his education to serve in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Following the war, Mr. Brasher continued his education at the St. Joseph's College, where he earned a Bachelors degree in economics. On September 4, 1943, Mr. Brasher married his wife, Frieda M. Brasher. They were married 56 years. He is survived by his wife; seven sons; two daughters; four brothers; one sister; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Mr. Brasher served on the board and was president of the Suicide Crisis and Prevention Center and was a lector and Eucharistic Minister of Queen of Heaven Parish. Mr. Brasher will lie in state Friday at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Queen of Heaven Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m., Saturday. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.

Candelaria -- Mary Esther Candelaria passed away on March 26th after a long battle with breast cancer. Esther leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Alberto Candelaria; her daughter, Daniella Candelaria Langdon and her husband, Bryan; her son, Reggie Candelaria and his fiancee, Susan Moul; her mother, Beatrice Hernandez; her sister and brother-in-law, Josie and Bill Lindquist, and her sister, Lucia Hernandez, along with numerous friends and relatives. Esther, an inactive Realtor, was an accomplished artist who had been very active in the community. A private service was held at the family home on Monday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UNH Cancer Center.

Carmignani -- Elisa Carmignani, 94, former longtime resident of Silver City, and a current resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully on Monday, Mach 27, 2000 in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Camille and Stewart Burgess, where she was lovingly cared for during her lengthy illness. She lived her life for her family and others, and was a friend to everyone she met and ever knew. Elisa was a beloved great-great-grandmother, great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother. Elisa moved to Albuquerque from Silver City in 1962 and maintained her home until the age of 93. Elisa was preceded in death by her parents, Alcario and Ramona Acuna from Silver City; her husband of 54 years, Albert Carmignani in 1990; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three sons, George Carmignani and wife, Susan and Albert Carmignani and wife, Theresa, all of Albuquerque, and Charles Carmignani and wife, Phyliss of Downey, CA; and by five daughters, Betty Holguin of Los Angeles, CA, Lucy Ogas and husband, Frank of Silver City, Dolores Vasquez and husband, Juan of el Paso, TX, Camille Burgess and husband, Stewart and Ramona Plummer and husband, Tom, all of Albuquerque. She is fondly remembered by 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Elisa is also survived by two sisters, Hope Arrington and Lily Carillo of Silver City; two sisters-in-law, Josephine Richards of Albuquerque and Mary Crenshaw of Tallahassee, FL; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Robert Carmignani of Albuquerque and Lawrence Carmignani of Artesia, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Special recognition is extended to daughter, Betty and granddaughter, Irene Ybarra, who helped care for Elisa during her time of need. The family also thanks the staff of St. Joseph's PACE for the care and kindness given to Elisa. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., today, at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Cashman -- Ms. Robin H. Cashman, CLU ChFC, age 63, died at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, March 23, 2000. She was the daughter of Mrs. Helen Hawes Hudgins and the late Ward Hudgins of Franklin, TN. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Cashman Mayer of Denver, CO; and a son, Timothy J. Cashman Jr. of Soldotna, AK; two brothers, Michael Ward Hudgins and Tom Hudgins and a sister, Elaine Hudgins, all of Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Emily and Ellen Mayer and Lacey Cashman. She spent most of her career in the insurance business in Albuquerque and most recently in Nashville, TN. She was a longtime member of St. John's Cathedral. De Herrera -- Margaret M."GiGi" De Herrera, 48, beloved daughter, sister and friend, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 26, 2000. Margaret was born on May 29, 1951 in Santa Fe. She is survived by her loving mother, Rose Velarde and husband, Francis of Albuquerque; three brothers, Richard Eloy De Herrera, Robert De Herrera and wife, Josephine, Raul Gonzales; seven sisters, Janet Sanchez, Lucille De Herrera, Della Mora and husband, Robert, Vickie Wormie, Roberta Gonzalez, Yolanda Yanguez and Kathy Chavez and husband, Jesus; special companion, Emily Apache, her son, Tyrone, and his son, Amadeus; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and those who knew and loved her. Friends and family may visit this evening, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, where a Memorial Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., this evening. Egenes -- Flora E. Egenes, a longtime resident of Albuquerque died Sunday, March 26, 2000, after along, extended illness, caused by the effects of deabeters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a special friend to so many. She loved to cook for her family and friends and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband, Hans Egenes of Albuquerque; sons, Hans W. Egenes and wife, Cynthia and Eric P. Egenes, all of Albuquerque. She is survived by her only grandson, Nicklaus Egenes, and her only granddaughter, Kristen Egenes. Survivors also include her brothers, Hans, Paul and Kurt Poullie of Germany; and a cousin, Heniz Seimes and wife, Doris of Belen. Special friends include Gayle and David Barnook, Dietmar Pruessman, Borghild Egenes, Live Egenes, Steven Egenes, all of Albuquerque, and Margaret Estridge of Belen. A private burial will take place. Foreman -- James C. Foreman, 71, a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Tillie Foreman of Albuquerque; son, J.C. Gaunt -- Darrell Paul"Ike" Gaunt died peacefully in his sleep early on Sunday, March 26, 2000. Ike had celebrated his 82nd birthday just two weeks previously, wrapped in the loving arms of his family who survive him, his wife of 59 years, Glendora Gaunt; his daughter, Lindalee Maisel and husband, Norman Maisel; and his daughter, Shelly Campbell and husband, David Campbell all of Albuquerque. He will be missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Karen Maisel of Colorado Springs, Heather and Damon Campbell, Lee Maisel and wife Maria, and great-grandson, Shea Maisel, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by brothers, David Gaunt of Albuquerque, Mark Gaunt and wife, Louise, Richard Gaunt and wife, Ina; sisters-in-law, Mary Gaunt and Doris Gaunt of Albuquerque; sister, Bonnie Bryan and husband, Ed; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters, Darlene and Barbara, and brothers, Charles, Edward, and Mack. Born in Wells County, Indiana March 12, 1918, Ike grew up in and around Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the fourth of ten children of Edward Lee Gaunt and Faye Davison Gaunt. In his youth, he was an accomplished fisherman and boxer. He was the 1938 Indiana State bantamweight Golden Gloves and AAU boxing champion. In 1940, he married his sweetheart Glendora Nelson, to whom he was married six months short of sixty years. He served in the US Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater from 1943 to 1946. In 1950, the family moved to Albuquerque where Ike was with the Heights Nursery, then worked as a metallurgy specialist for ACF, Dow, and General Electric plants in Albuquerque. Ike never knew a stranger. He loved gardening, hunting, and fishing and was a very accomplished at all of them. He was a gentle and guiding hand for his children and grandchildren and took enormous pride in their accomplishments and daily activities. Cremation has taken place. A service celebrating Ike's life will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2000 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd. NE (west of Eubank), Albuquerque. Hillenbrand -- ANN LOUISE CECIL HILLENBRAND A Memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Assumption Catholic Church for Ann Louise Cecil Hillenbrand, 82, of Roswell, who went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2000. Father Bob Goetz will officiate. Burial will take place at the Cecil Family Plot located in Tucson, Arizona."Annie", as she liked to be called, was born on August 15, 1917 in Evansville, Indiana, to Frank Alexander Cecil and Katie O'Donnavan Cecil. She married Edwin Joseph Hillenbrand Sr. in October of 1949 in Evansville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1969."Annie" moved to Albuquerque in 1974, where she joined three of her six children. In March of 1998, she and her son, Edwin J. Hillenbrand Jr. moved to Roswell. While in Albuquerque, she attended and was an active member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church for many years. She attended bible study through Queen of Heaven and made numerous friends throughout her church family. A Memorial Mass will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church on Sunday, May 28, 2000, at 6:00 p.m. Even though"Annie" had just recently moved to the Roswell area, she attended and was an active member of the Assumption Catholic Church. She belonged to a local prayer group, where many friends were made."Annie" never met a stranger and always had a quick-witted"Irish" reply in any situation and/or circumstance. She was and is loved. Every day was a new day for"Annie"."Annie's" memory lives on in her family which consists of four daughters, Mary David Cochran of Alabama, Katie Hoyl of Hagerman, NM, Ellie E. Garcia and JoAnn Haas, both of Shelbyville, IN; two sons, Edwin J. Hillenbrand Jr. of Roswell and John F. Hillenbrand of Albuquerque; a sister, Mary Martin and nephew, Jack Martin Jr., both of Newburgh, IN; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Klemetti -- Vivian Lee Klemetti passed away Monday, March 27. She was 84 years old. Vivian is survived by four daughters and one son, Eileen Bennick of Hockley, TX, Lee Klemetti of Muskegon, MI, Ann McCoy of Albuquerque, Gail Aycock of Santa Fe, and Valerie Blessley of Vancouver, WA. Vivian has 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Vivian grew up on Isle Royale, Michigan. She was one of the first women to build and operate her own Ham Radio. She and her husband, Rey, met over the airwaves (EARLY E-MAIL). The Klemetti's moved to Albuquerque in 1968. Vivian was a broker and realtor for 30 years, working for Hooten-Stahl, Re/Max, and RECA Better Homes and Gardens. She belonged to Enchanted Mesa Sweet Adeline's, East Mesa Civitans and Eastridge Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be Friday evening, March 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE. Funeral services will be held there April 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel. Martinez -- Margaret R. Martinez, 52, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, March 25, 2000. Mrs. Martinez was a loving mother who is survived by her sons, Roger Padilla, Jr., and Tobias Padilla, both of Albuquerque; father, Lawrence Martinez Sr.; brothers, Herman Martinez and Lawrence Martinez Jr.; sisters, Rose Lucero and Laurice Baca; aunt, Lena Ruano, with whom she was very close; numerous nieces and nephews, and Roger Padilla Sr. She was a licensed practical nurse who worked at Presbyterian Hospital and Lovelace Medical Center. Mccabe -- James H. McCabe, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia A. McCabe of Albuquerque; three sons, Tim McCabe and wife, Sandy of Phoenix, AZ, Dennis McCabe and wife, Susie of Waukesha, WI, and Terry McCabe and wife, Sherry of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren: Brandon, Cody, Garret, Lindsey, Schuyler, Colton and Micah McCabe; and numerous other relatives and friends. Jim was born March 14, 1922 in Heartland, NY, the son of Hazel McDonald and Sylvester McCabe. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Leonard (Bud) McCabe. Jim attended the University of Alabama for two years and served in the U.S. Army during WWII, being stationed in Africa, Italy and France. After the war he began working for the New York Telephone Company then transferred from Lockport, NY to Mountain Bell in Albuquerque in 1959, to move to a drier climate for family health reasons. Jim retired from the telephone company in 1982 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Jim loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His grandchildren meant a lot to him. He was known to be a jokester to those around him and he will be dearly missed. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 30, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE. Seeman, December 2, 1985, one daughter, Nila May in 1940, one grandson, Mark Sherouse; and one brother, Glen Owen. Mrs. Seeman was a great cook and a fabulous piemaker. She loved to play bingo. Mrs. Seeman was active with the Lioness Club for the Four Hills Trailor Court, becoming president, vice president and director at various times. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and served as an ecumenical minister. Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 30, 2000, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Deacon Al McLane reciting. Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 31, 2000, 9:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, March 30, 2000, 3:00 p.m until Rosary.

Speicher -- Marjorie Moon Speicher, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away march 26, 2000 at the age of 81. She has four children, Emmet Miller Jr., deceased, Barbara Arnell, deceased, Jerome E. Miller of Albuquerque, and Darlene Fisher of Mississippi. She has nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Marjorie was a homemaker and also worked and retired as a licensed practical nurse. She wished her body be donated to the University of New Mexico. Memorial services will be held Friday, March 31, 10:00 a.m., at Blake Rd. Baptist Church, 1704 Blake Rd. SW, Albuquerque, officiated by Pastor Ira Sheldon.

Tennyson -- Leslie W. Tennyson Jr., 53, a resident of Dixon, NM, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2000. Leslie was born on March 11, 1947, the son of Leslie W. and Lillian Koury Tennyson Sr. in Santa Fe. He was a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with the Rio Grande Treatment Center. Leslie served in the US Air Force, was a medic on the front lines during the Vietnam conflict. He was a very loving man, father and grandfather. Will be missed by all. He is a great healer. Leslie is survived by his parents, Leslie and Lillian Tennyson Sr. of Rio Rancho; three children, Chandra Orona of Albuquerque, Paul Tennyson of Albuquerque, and Sarah Tennyson of Pecos, NM; two sisters, Cecilia Hanrahan and husband, Bill, Carol Martinez and husband, Ed; one brother, Kenny Tennyson and wife, Bernadette; also survived by Betty Tennyson and Rose Ann Gutierrez-Mora; and four grandchildren, J.J. Solomon, Samantha Tennyson, Lauren Solomon, and Sabrina Tennyson. The Rosary will be held this evening, Thursday, March 30, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, Albuquerque, with the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 31, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish. Interment will be in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Paul Tennyson, El Fego Orona, Miguel Martinez, John Tennyson, John Koury, Larry Waterman. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Hanrhan, Jimmy Koury, Ed Martinez, and John Martinez.
