Obituary for Egenes

Flora E. Egenes, a longtime resident of Albuquerque died Sunday, March 26, 2000, after along, extended illness, caused by the effects of deabeters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a special friend to so many. She loved to cook for her family and friends and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband, Hans Egenes of Albuquerque; sons, Hans W. Egenes and wife, Cynthia and Eric P. Egenes, all of Albuquerque. She is survived by her only grandson, Nicklaus Egenes, and her only granddaughter, Kristen Egenes. Survivors also include her brothers, Hans, Paul and Kurt Poullie of Germany; and a cousin, Heniz Seimes and wife, Doris of Belen. Special friends include Gayle and David Barnook, Dietmar Pruessman, Borghild Egenes, Live Egenes, Steven Egenes, all of Albuquerque, and Margaret Estridge of Belen. A private burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association of New Mexico.
