Lucero -- John G. Lucero, 83, beloved father and grandfather, was called home Monday, September 25, 2000. Mr. Lucero was born in Las Vegas, NM to the late John G. Sr. and Ella Lucero; he was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church; a member of the St. Vicente de Paul Society and of the Meat Cutters Union. He is survived by his loving daughter, Anna Padilla Morgan of Albuquerque; his precious grandchildren, Lawrence Padilla, Rita Raley, Marie Padilla, Cecilia Padilla, Lorretta Padilla, Yvonne Ulibarri, and Brandy Lucero; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Raley, Antonio, John Paul and Simon Ulibarri, Jason, Justin and Rachel Padilla. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, and those who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be conducted this morning, 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Johnny Chavez, Michael Baker, Joseph Lujan, James Lujan, Ray Valarde and George Baker. Military Honors will be accorded by the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter III. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.

Clay -- Jon Mark Clay, 39, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, September 23, 2000. He is survived by his mother, Sallie H. Clay of Albuquerque; sisters, Julie Clay of Flagstaff, AZ, Tamara Clay of Honolulu, HI, and Charmaine Clay and husband, Scott Willis of Oakland, CA; niece, Sydney Nicole Willis; nephew, Austin Clay Willis; aunts, Gertrude Clay, Alvina Webster, and Eunice Cline and husband, Ed of Macy, NE, Bernice Stephens and husband, Simon of Aberdeen, SD, and Dot Howell of Union City, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelson E. Clay in 1986. Jon graduated from Pierce High School in Richardson, TX in 1979. He attended colleges at Richland in Dallas, TX, St. John's College in Santa Fe, and UNM. Services will be held with interment following at the Omaha Tribal Cemetery in Macy, NE. Perales -- PERALES - Carmel Perales, - July 16, 1920-September 23, 2000 - Our Lord called beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother on September 23, 2000. She was preceded in death by her mother, Magadelina Perales; her sister, Nelda Gurule; one son, Orlando Perales; and a nephew she raised, Horace Perales. She is survived by her brother, Jose Perales and wife, Ruth from Winslow, AZ; two daughters, Perfecta Salazar and husband, Ernest, Ernestine Taylor and husband, James; one son, David Robert Samora and wife, Reyes; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. The family wishes to thank Presbyterian Hospice staff for the care they gave to the beloved Carmel. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Santo Nino Catholic Church in Tierra Amarilla. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Los Ojos Cemetery in Tierra Amarilla. Casket bearers will be David Samora Jr., Orlando Perales, Robert Taylor, John Garris, Timothy J. Salazar and Simon Manzanares. Honorary bearers will be Joseph Garcia and Jesse Garcia. Bielobocky -- Helen Bielobocky, 86, a resident of Albuquerque for over 25 years, died Tuesday, September 5, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Eleanor Eger and husband, Edward, and Rita Simon, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Sheryl Eger of Canton, OH and Margaux Obiedo of Albuquerque; great-grandson, Kurt E. Eger; brother, Tony Smolenski; and sister, Mary Berlich, both of Pennsylvania; and daughter-in-law, Hortencia Eger. Mrs. Bielobocky was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; and her grandson, Kurt. V. Eger. Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 7, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Deacon Byron Wicker reciting. Bielobocky -- Helen Bielobocky, 86, a resident of Albuquerque for over 25 years, died Tuesday, September 5, 2000. Casias -- Ramon Casias Sr., 73, passed away September 1, 2000, a native New Mexican, he served in the US Army. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Casias; brother-in-law, Ramon Chavez; and special friend, Elizabeth Longly. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Mary C. Jaramillo; children, Lillian Gomez and husband, Frank, Dolores Valdez and husband, Arthur, Raymond Casias Jr. and wife, Robin, Sharon Casias, Carlos Casias and wife, Connie, Riena Casias-Sanchez, Carol Lucero, Eva Casias, Ray Anthony Casias; nine step-children; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Silva, Tina Gonzales and husband, Simon, Carol Gonzales and husband, Frank, Leandra Aceves and husband, Manuel; numerous other family and special friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2000. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2000 with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. His family will serve as pallbearers. Sartin -- Mr. Robert D. Sartin, 66, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on June 28, 2000. Mr. Sartin is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Patsy Apodaca-Sartin; two daughters, Jennifer Sartin and boyfriend, Simon Johnson and Rita Todt and husband, Jay; three sons, James Montoya and girlfriend, Lorie Cognion, Paul Sartin and Donald Montoya; one sister, Billie McCullar and husband, J.D. of Haileyville, OK; one brother, Jerry Sartin and wife, Mary of Whithall, AK; special sister-in-law, Ellen Sartin of LaPuente, CA; his grandchildren, Yolanda Montoya, Renee and Paul Sartin, and Dominique Montoya; many other family members. Mr. Sartin was preceded in death by his grandsons, J.R. and Gabriel Montoya. A Rosary will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, Mr. Joe Trujillo will recite.
