Joule -- Kenneth R. Joule, beloved father, brother, uncle and friend to the world, died September 18, 2002. He was born March 29, 1939 in Dallas, TX and graduated from St. Mary's H.S. 1957; and received a B.S. Degree from Regis College, Denver, CO in 1961; a Masters Degree from California State, Los Angeles in 1967. Ken worked at many airports including the Bahamas, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Oman. He was a diplomat in Pakistan with the United Nations. He is survived by one brother, Tom and sister-in-law, Lauren; nephew, Torrey; and niece, Lindsey of Albuquerque; ex-wife, Carolyn (McIntyre) Joule; son, Corey; and daughter, Kristin; two loving nephews; a niece; and a great-nephew and niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; father, William Leroy; and his oldest son, Kevin.

Green -- Samuel Green, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 5, 2002, at the age of 79. His greatest joy in life was his family and he is survived by his loving wife, artist Maera Green; and his children, Michelle Riesman, Tracy Green, Dori Sue Green Morris, and Marshall Green; and by his daughter-in-law, Sherry Green; and sons-in-law, Bruce Riesman, Alan Siegel, and Tom Morris; and his grandchildren, Evan, and Colin Riesman, Zoe and Sophia Siegel, and Emma and Maya Morris. He was born in 1923 in Vilna, Poland and grew up in El Paso, Texas. He served his country in World War II as a naval officer in the Pacific, attended Harvard University and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. In Albuquerque, he founded Green's Sanitary Supply. He served his community as President of Congregation B'Nai Israel, a founding Director of Western Bank and as a Shriner. Services will be held at Fairview Memorial Park at 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2002. Additional Memorial Services to be held at the family home on October 7 and 8 at 7:00 p.m. Contributions in his name can be made to Congregation B'Nai Israel, 4401 Indian School Rd., Albuquerque, NM. Services for Mr. Green are under the direction of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, 842-8800.

Greenstreet -- Donald Lee Greenstreet, a resident of Albuquerque, born January 8, 1948, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. He is survived by his mother, Dana Newsom Swensen; daughters, Kristi Gallagher and husband, Charles and Kim Denison and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Ryan J. Martinez, Matthew Martinez, and Katelin Denison; sister, Ruth Brooks and husband, Tom Brooks; brother, Ronnie Greenstreet and wife, Donna Nossett Greenstreet; uncle, Monte Newsom and wife, Eunice; and cousins, nieces and one nephew. He attended Albuquerque Public Schools graduating from UNM in 1971. Services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2002, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Frank Malizzo, officiating. Pallbearers will be Lee A. Newsom, Daryl Greenstreet, Tom Brooks, Dick Manhke, Kenny Todd and Justin Denison. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan J. Martinez, Matthew Martinez, B.B. Patten, and Dr. Charles Gallagher. Ortiz -- Leonard H.Ortiz, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1966, passed away on October 4, 2002.He is survived by his wife, Lily, of 51 years; daughters, Catherine Hall and husband Allen, Patricia Tanner and husband Scott and Danielle Ortiz; sons, Daniel Ortiz, Steven Ortiz and wife Susan; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Leonard served twenty years in the U.S. Army. He worked at the University of New Mexico in the Chemistry Dept. until his retirement in 1987. Leonard was a life- member of Knights of Columbus, JFK Council 5729 and Father Mandalari Assembly. He was a long time member at St. Bernadette Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Rosary will be recited Monday, October 7, 2002, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 8, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Allen Hall, Gabe Romero, Robert Romero, Dennis Barela, Scott Tanner, and Larry McGlynn. Honorary Pallbearers will be Juan Perea and William Maguire. Stovall -- Virgil Stovall, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1956, was born October 4, 1924, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Doris Stovall; daughter, Janie Powell and husband, Lu; son, Mickey Stovall and wife, Sonya; grandsons, Joshua Stovall and Douglas Stovall and wife, Samantha; granddaughters, Kim Kupec and husband, Tom and Michele Papich; seven great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Cecil Loewen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and 11 brothers and sisters. Virgil was a decorated Air Corps Captain in WW2 as a B-24 lead bombardier navigator with the 456th Bomb Group stationed in the European Theater. Virgil retired from Roberson Construction Co. after many years of accounting and management for the man he considered to be his best friend, Coda C. Roberson. Virgil was a member of the Rock Island Lodge #869, Masonic Temple for 55 years. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2002, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with J. Curtis Goldman officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

Wahlenmaier -- John Milton Wahlenmaier, 92, formerly of Albuquerque. Memorial Services will be held on October 10, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. atťthe First Baptist Church in Arkansas City, Kansas. Tom Clark of Wichita, KS will be officiating. Mr. Wahlenmaier had been living in Tyler, Texas since his retirement from Sandia Corporation. He died on September 27, 2002 at a Health Center near Tyler. Mr. Wahlenmaier was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie, in January 2000; and also by his son, Jess Edward, in January 1996. Jess was also from Albuquerque. Survivors include Elaine Holloway and her husband, Kit, of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren, Cheryl Cain, Lance Holloway, and Dawn Williams. He also had six great-grandchildren.

Graham -- Thomas L. Graham, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 3, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Dean Graham of Albuquerque; one daughter, Dr. of Chiropractic, Georgia Graham; one brother, Bob Graham and wife, Lillian of Prairie Village, KS; one sister, Rosalie O'Connell and husband, Jim of Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews. Thomas was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Graham. He attended Desert Hills Baptist Church. He was a WWII Marine Veteran and participated in Guadalcanal, Tarawa and Saipan Theaters of War. Thomas was a member of The Marine Veterans of WWII and received many Purple Hearts and other awards. Tom was an active member/instructor of the Sandia Skeet Shooting Club on Kirtland AFB for many years. In 1983, Tom won the state championship in the Thunderbird Open for the 28/C and 410/C. Tom was a member of the VFW Post 401, Rio Rancho Elks, American Legion Post 49. He was an avid collector of Indian Artifacts. Tom refinished antique furniture as a hobby until he lost his sight. He also made/created his own furniture pieces. Tom was a traveling salesman and worked for Colgate-Palmolive, and retired from Mead Paper Supply. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks N. of Paseo Del Norte) with Pastor John Bailey officiating with Pastor Kirk Wesselink and Chaplain Tom Sholtis assisting.
