CANDELARIA -- Emma Candelaria, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 24, 2009 at home and is now in Heaven with Our Lord. Mrs. Candelaria is survived by her sons, Albino (Al) Candelaria and partner, Maxine Gonzales, and Tom Candelaria and girlfriend, Annette Marquez; her grandchildren, Adrian, Adam, Amorette, Tomas, Patrick and Julian; four great-grandchildren, Cruz, Joaquin, Matthew, and Juliette; and many other extended family members. Mrs. Candelaria was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., by Mary Vallejos. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Communion Service at 12:00 noon, Deacon Pablo LeFebre, presider. Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be will be Adrian, Adam, Amorette, Tomas, Patrick and Julian. DUHON -- Lola Duhon, 75, of Colorado Springs, passed away on December 4, 2009. Lola was born on July 16, 1934 in Grants, New Mexico to the late Andres and Maria (Gonzales) Luna. After graduation from Cathedral High School in Gallup in 1953, Lola worked for several years as a manager for a food and beverage service. She married Thomas Duhon and together had four children. In her spare time, Lola enjoyed football and crossword puzzles. Lola is survived by her sons, Thomas Mallan Duhon Jr., James Allen and Gary Anthony Duhon; one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Kingrey and her husband, Lawrence; sisters, Lena, Virginia, and Mary; brothers, Al and James. She is also survived by grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, Brooke and Erika Marshall and Danielle Duhon. Lola was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas; sister, Digna and brother, Andrew. GONZALES -- Albert "Al" Gonzales. The Al Gonzales family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all our families and friends for their good wishes, prayers and words of encouragement during our brother's illness. Special thanks and appreciation to Father Dennis Garcia at San Felipe de Neri Church for the special words and thoughts during the mass, Deacon James Carabajal for the inspirational rosary and Virginia Armenta for her special tribute song for Al. Thanks to the nurses and techs at Presbyterian, Ana Kaseman Skilled Nursing and Hospice Unit for their compassionate care and medical service, also thank you to the staff of French Mortuary. Last but not least, a "Most Grateful Thanks" to all of Al's close friends, golf buddies and Desert Greens staff who took the time to visit with him and share with him good thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement during his hospital stay. GONZALES -- Albert "Al" Gonzales, 66, a native New Mexican, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009 with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his brother, Harold Gonzales and wife Jimmie; sister, Mabel Hendrickson and husband Ray, sister, Angie Soto and husband Sam; brother Felix Gonzales and wife Gloria; nieces and nephews, Amanda Skarsgard and husband Erik, Stacie Soto, Felicia Spicochi and husband John, Chris Gonzales, Jon Soto, Estevan Gonzales, and Roy Hendrickson; great niece Eliana Soto and great nephews Keyen Soto and Robin Hendrickson, and a baby Skarsgard on the way. He also had many other family members and special friends including all his golf buddies. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Gonzales; wife, Juin Baum; and brother, Lorenzo "LJ" Gonzales. DELCID -- Katherine "Katy" Delcid, age 61, born in Anton Chico, New Mexico, to the late Ignacio and Maria Gonzales. Katy was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School and was a long time resident of Santa Ana, California, moving to Albuquerque in the early 90's. She went home to the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2009. She is survived by her husband, Hiram; two sons, Mark and his wife Laura, and Luis; daughter, Rachel and her husband Al; five grandchildren, Alex, Phillip, Brianna, Kayleigh, and Vanessa; two sisters, Annie Aragon and her husband Jim, and Celina; eight brothers, Crisantos and his wife Margie, Federico, Ramon, Eduardo, Juan and his wife Estefanita, Ignacio Jr. and his wife Cindy, Cipriano, and Simon. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at 811 Guaymas Place NE, Albuquerque.

CANDELARIA -- Juan de Dios Candelaria Sr., 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 25, 2009 with his family at his side. Mr. Candelaria is survived by his children Rebecca Candelaria Cooper and husband, Rick, Priscilla Romero, Theresa Chavez, Cathy Candelaria and husband, Tomas Gutierrez, Juan de Dios Candelaria Jr., Al Candelaria and wife, Adrienne; his companion, Cecilia Vigil; his sisters, Florela Gonzales, Ramona Martinez, Ignacia Candelaria, Mary Carlos and husband, Ruben, and Rosie Urban; his brother, Tito Candelaria and wife, Lilly; his brother in law, Nestor Herrera; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Candelaria was preceded in death by his wife, Julia ; his parents, Tito and Lita ; brothers, Richard and Justo; and his sister, Pasty Herrera. Mr. Candelaria was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 4:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Gonzalo Moreno, presider. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be Anthony Romero, RIchard Romero, Daniel Wolfel, James Wolfel, Juan Candelaria III, and Christopher Candelaria.
