Narayan -- Venkat I. Narayan, M.D., age 51, of Santa Fe, died on Sunday, January 9, 2000, following a short illness. Dr. Narayan was born on November 12, 1948, in Madras, India. He completed his neurology training in Albuquerque and did his neurosurgery training in Syracuse, NY. He then came to Santa Fe where he maintained his practice in neurosurgery for 16 years. He is survived by his children, Christopher Narayan and Sara Narayan, both of Santa Fe; ex-wife, Cynthia Narayan of Santa Fe; brother, Norman Chidambaram of Vancouver, B.C.; sister, Seetha and husband, Jaya and husband, and Preema and husband, all of Madras, India; two very special friends, Glenn Jarvis and Bill Montoya, and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends in the United States and India. Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 13, at 5:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Funeral Chapel where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa, Santa Fe, 984-8600

Hanna -- Billy M. Hanna, 60, beloved husband, daddy, and Papa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-eights years, Mary Ramirez-Hanna; daughter, Angel Alarcon; son-in-law, Rito; and grandchildren, Dominic, Jennifer, Aja-Marie, Holly-Ann and Laci; son, Danny, daughter-in-law, Linda and grandchildren, Jacob and Mikey; son, Jimmy, daughter-in-law, Debbie and grandchildren, Gabriella; daughter, Suzi and grandchildren, and Vanessa and Erik; daughter, Terri. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Alisa and Dominic and his sisters, Barbara J. Hanna and Janet M. Savage and husband, John; numerous nieces and nephews, and close friend, Ted Brawley. Billy was employed by General Electric for twenty-two years and was the current shop steward for Local #794 Machinist Union. Visitation for Billy will commence on Monday, January 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Avenue SE, presided by Deacon Andy Chavez. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m. Queen of Heaven, 5311 Phoenix NE followed by the Burial at Mount Calvary, 1900 Edith NE with Father Johnny-Lee Chavez. The pallbearers will be Rito Alarcon, Bob Ryan, Richard Verderame, Greg Osborne, Richard Quintero, Gil Gonzales; the Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Jackson, Raymond Martinez, Eric Osborne, Thomas M. Romero, John Savage and Art Montoya. We love and miss you so, so much, Daddy!

Rudolfo -- Mr. Fernando Rudolfo Sr., 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 9, 2000. Mr. Rudolfo was the beloved husband of 58 years to Mrs. Genoveva Marie Rudolfo. He is also survived by one son, Fernando Rudolfo Jr. and wife, Marcella; one brother, Luis Rudolfo; five grandchildren, Abelino, David, Michael, Fernando III and Crystal; four great-grandchildren, Abelino Jr., Jennel, Raymond and Mario; a special nephew, Frank Becker; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 12:00 p.m. Manuel Montoya officiating. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alfred Herrera, David Chavez, David Tapia, Fernando Rudolfo III, Felix Moya and Louis Mendoza. Montoya -- Mr. Jacobo Montoya died Tuesday in Albuquerque at the age of 90. Mr. Montoya was a member of the American Legion Post 99 for many years. He is survived by his wife, Benigna Montoya; sons, Manuel Gallegos and wife, Sharon, Jacobo Gonzales, Arturo Gallegos and Rudy Gallegos; daughters, Josie Gallegos and Theresa Tate; brother, Macario Montoya and wife, Sinforosa; and his granddaughters, whom he loved dearly, Melanie Gallegos, Ashley Gallegos, Jordan Tate and Ellexandria Tate. Funeral services for Mr. Montoya will be held on Friday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Fr. Joe Vigil.
