Montoya -- Mr. Jacobo Montoya died Tuesday in Albuquerque at the age of 90. Mr. Montoya was a member of the American Legion Post 99 for many years. He is survived by his wife, Benigna Montoya; sons, Manuel Gallegos and wife, Sharon, Jacobo Gonzales, Arturo Gallegos and Rudy Gallegos; daughters, Josie Gallegos and Theresa Tate; brother, Macario Montoya and wife, Sinforosa; and his granddaughters, whom he loved dearly, Melanie Gallegos, Ashley Gallegos, Jordan Tate and Ellexandria Tate. Funeral services for Mr. Montoya will be held on Friday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Fr. Joe Vigil. Pallbearers will be Manuel Gallegos, Jacobo Gonzales, Arturo Gallegos, Charles Gallegos, Eugene Tate and Frank Archuleta. Visitation for Mr. Montoya will be held on Friday morning starting at 8:00 a.m. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
