Williams -- Angeline"Angel" Williams, 29, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 23, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Brittney 7 years old and Chantilley 6 years old; parents, Thomas and Patricia Schroder, all of Albuquerque; brother, Harry Weldon of Texas; maternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Weldon; paternal grandparents, Verl and Billie Schroder; uncles, Michael Weldon and Philip Weldon; and aunt, Gloria Bradshaw, all of Albuquerque. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Fred Gurule officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Robert Vaner Hee, Donald Packingham, Donald Sehirmer, Philip Weldon, Michael Weldon and Rod Current. Saiz -- Anastacio Saiz, 69, a resident of Barstow, CA, passed away on September 22, 1999. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mauricio and Prejedes Saiz; and two sisters, Bertha Aragon and Margaret Romero. He is survived by his wife, Sefie Saiz; two sons, Donald Saiz and Mike Saiz and his wife, Helen, both of Barstow; two daughters, Ruth Bobbitt and Angela Avalos and her husband, Juan, all of Barstow; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson; three brothers, Edwardo Saiz and his wife, Ursula, Fernandez Saiz and his wife, Maggie, Donicio Saiz and his wife, Barbara Saiz; two sisters, Odella Gonzales and her husband, Salo and Carol Gabaldon and her husband, Ernie. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, 6:00 p.m., at Romero Funeral Home in Belen. Additional services will be held in Barstow, CA. Carlyon -- Rita M. Carlyon, 70, Albuquerque resident since 1992, and formerly of Marquette, MI, entered eternal life September 16, 1999 at University Hospital. Member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Survivors include husband, Donald E. Carlyon; daughter, Sandra Lee Carlyon; son, David Allen (Catherine) Carlyon; grandson, Timothy D. Routt -- Virginia June Routt, 71, a resident of Rio Rancho for six years, went to be with the Lord and her husband, Donald D. Routt in heaven on September 14, 1999. Her family, sisters, Lila Stetzel and Maryann Van Dorin; daughters, Lori Fournier, Valencia Henn, Corny Nez, and Jennifer Monaghan; sons, Regis Tsosie, Steven Darden; son-in-law, Dana Fournier, Dan Henn, Randy Nez, Ed Monaghan; daughter-in-law, Rose Toehe; grandchildren, Renee, Keith, Stephen, April, Megan, Jordanna, Jaundeanna, Alyssa, Joshua, Gabrielle, Aaron, Kesty, Janele and Micah will celebrate her life at a Memorial service to be held at Charity Baptist Church, 5501 Obregon Rd., in Rio Rancho, on Wednesday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to a non-profit pet adoption agency, Iben's Home, 06 San Francisco, Los Lunas, NM 87031.

Layburn -- Elizabeth K. Layburn, 99, a former resident of Albuquerque and Clovis, NM, died September 15, 1999, in Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband; and sons, Robert E. and Robert L. Layburn. She is survived by two sons, William of Atlanta, GA and Donald of Hendersonville, NC; and one daughter, Elizabeth Hansen of Albuquerque. A Memorial service will be held in Lakeland, Florida on September 24, 1999. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremains will be in Toms River, NJ.

Reva -- Virgina McMullen Reva, a former resident of St. Joseph, MI died Saturday, September 11, 1999. Mrs. Reva was born in Chicago, IL to Patrick and Nellie Murphy McMullen on February 2, 1911. In 1929 she graduated from St. Joseph High School and graduated from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame in 1933. In 1941 she married Hermas L. Reva of Kalamazoo. In 1947 she received a masters degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. In that year, she and Mr. Reva moved to Albuquerque where Mrs. Reva has accepted a faculty position at the University of New Mexico. She began as an instructor in the College of Business Administration and progressed through the ranks until she became a full professor. During those years, she was granted several leaves of absence to work under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Her workshops and seminars for employed men and women took her to 23 cities and ten countries in Central and South America. During those years, she published some 25 articles in national educational magazines. Always an active public speaker and Catholic laywoman, Mrs. Reva received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross from Pope Pius XII in 1954. In 1995 she was invested in Houston, TX as a Lady of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem is worldwide in scope and dates back more than 800 years. She was a charter member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Mrs. Reva's husband and their son, Mark died many years ago. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Patrick J. McMullen of St. Joseph, MI. Mrs. Reva is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends in this area. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Francis X. Eggert, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Reva family plot in Kalamazoo, MI. Pallbearers will be Rod Doll, Ray Zimmer, Philip Menicucci, Malcolm Shannon Sr., Robert Vokes and George Blea. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Cutler, Robert Tafoya, John McNerney, John Yeakel, Howard Finston, Perry Mori and Donald Fogg. Ubieta -- Helena E. Ubieta, 89, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 28 years, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 1999. Helena was born May 20, 1910 the daughter of Moses and Minnie Skidmore Morgan in Chatham, New York. She had worked in retail sales before retiring. Helena was preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. Ubieta; a brother, Harold Morgan; and her mother, Minnie Morgan. Helena is survived by her son, Earl Wisemann and wife, Wanda; brother, Donald Morgan and wife, Kathryn; brother-in-law, Rudolph Ubieta; two grandchildren, Glenn and Calvin Wisemann; two great-grandsons and six great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter. The visitation will be Monday, September 13, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the service at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. Organist will be Louise Budagher. The interment will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 13, 1999 in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Glenn Wisemann, Calvin Wisemann, Davyd Waine and Rudolph Ubieta. Martinez -- Antonio"Tony" Martinez, 38, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 6, 1999. Tony is the beloved son to Adelina Martinez and beloved father to Deanda, Denise, Antonette, Alicia and Eileen. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Hernandez and fiance, Donald Vigil; two brothers, Candy Martinez and wife, Dina and Toody Martinez; five nephews; five nieces; cousins; and friends. Button -- Lue Button, a longtime resident of Abiquiu, New Mexico, died at the age of 70 on August 15, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Donald Button; three siblings; and three step-children. She worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1968-1990, and was very active throughout her life in various dog activities including obedience, conformation, search and rescue, and hunt trials with her strain of Von Knopf Weimaraners. Friends of Lue are invited to join a celebration of her life on Saturday, September 11, 1999 at East Park, located next to the Dog Obedience Club at 246 East Road in Los Alamos. We will gather from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to share memories and light refreshments.
