Aragon -- Mrs. Tamara (Tammy) Lynn Anne Aragon, 41, a resident of Corrales, New Mexico passed away on September 10, 1999. Mrs. Aragon is survived by her beloved husband of 12 years, Eugene; two daughters, Monica Aragon and Patti Aragon; two sons, Eugene Aragon Jr. and Stevan Aragon; her mother, Patti Ruth Bermuda and husband, Dick; her father, C.R. Hull and wife, Jane; three sisters, Gwen, Shelly and Lori; one brother, Kim, Richard Bermuda and wife, Donna; maternal grandmother, Ruth Dunlop; two uncles, Jim Dunlop and wife, Donna and George Bermudez and wife, Jane; mother-in-law, Helen Aragon; sisters-in-law, Betty Perea, Ida Mae Grant, Lucy Kowalchuk and families; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Aragon was a member of the Catholic. Visitation will be Tuesday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Pauline Hernandez. Final visitation will be Wednesday afternoon in the San Ysidro Church in Corrales, New Mexico from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. by Father Galli. Bungartz -- Ernest Jerome Bungartz, 65, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 10 years, passed away on Friday, September 10, 1999. Ernest was born September 2, 1934 the son of Ernest V. and Beatrice M. Losey Bungartz in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He was married to Rose Mary DeWolfe on November 3, 1962. He had been a truck driver for 22 years. Ernest served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He is survived by his wife, Rose Mary of Rio Rancho; stepson, William R. Kebler; sister, Joan Krug; brother, Joseph Bungartz; step-grandchildren, Wayne Kebler, Wess Kebler, and Vaughn Kebler. Private family services will be held. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.

Butler -- Mrs. Norma A. Butler, 89, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 10, 1999. Mrs. Butler is survived by two sons, Dennis Butler, O. Prem., and Brian Butler and wife, June; three grandchildren, Dennis Rasmussen and wife, Lora; Lori Langdon and husband, Marty and Troy Butler; seven great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Stefanie, Steven, Dennis, Christopher, Cheryl and Cody. Mrs. Butler is also survived by a niece and many nephews. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Catholic Church. A memorial rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna N.W. with Father Joel Garner, reciting. The family will be receiving family and friends after 7:00 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church. Clay -- John Andural Clay, on September 8, 1999, John Andural Clay of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed into a more peaceful world. Born in Roxboro, North Carolina on December 7, 1946. He is survived by his loving wife, Lavina Clay; his two sons, Michael and Lawrence; and his father, John D. Clay; his mother, Gertrude James Clay, preceded him in death. John was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Army Special Forces, 82nd Airborne. In everything, whether it was work or his country's call to duty, he served with pride. John was an employee of Sandia National Laboratory for 20 years. John was a strong pillar of support for the family, and was especially proud of his two sons's accomplishments. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 1999 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, on 4th St., south of Candelaria. A memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11402 Indian School Rd. NE, west of Juan Tabo, with Fr. Denzler -- S.R. Denzler, MD, 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1955, died at home early Friday, September 3, 1999. He is survived by one brother, Charles Denzler of Washington State; daughters, Patricia A. Vanderberg and husband, Dr. Richard Vanderberg of Edmonton, Canada and Mary Jo Denzler of Los Lunas; son, David W.R. Denzler and wife, Caroline of Highland, MD; God-daughter, Charlene Wardlow of Santa Rosa, CA; grandchildren, Debbie Hughes of Los Lunas, John E. Hughes III of Albuquerque, and Ian Vanderberg and wife, Rebecca of Halifax, Nova Scotia; great-grandchildren, Amber Jones and Kody Hudspeth; and many family and friends. Dr. Denzler was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary L. Denzler; four sisters; and one brother. He lived a full and interesting life. Dr. Denzler loved being a general practitioner and always said,"We did it all." In his long career, he delivered over 1,000 babies and place many children in loving homes. Born in Jeffersonville, IN, Russ attended college and medical school at Indiana University, where he met Mary. He interned in New Orleans, LA and practiced medicine in Washington State, Houston, Texas, and he owned and operated a hospital in Cañon City, CO. Mr. Denzler was chief physician for Kennecott Copper Corp., New Mexico, before he entered the military. He was a Major in charge of the Eta Jima, Japan base hospital. After his military service, Russ and Mary settled in Albuquerque in 1955. Dr. Denzler joined the staff of Lovelace Clinic, established a private practice, and worked in the emergency room of the Bernalillo County Indian Hospital. He remained in private practice at the office he built on Dartmouth SE until semi-retirement in the early 1970s. For the next decade, Dr. Denzler was medical director of Ridgecrest Nursing Home, and he did Medicare Review at Lovelace Clinic, as well as other medically related tasks. Russ and Mary traveled the globe privately and with the Friendship Force for many decades. He was a 50-year Mason and a member of Temple Lodge #6 AF&AM and an active member of the Ballut Abyad Shrine. Dr. Denzler was president of the Nomads Camping Club and Wagon Master at locations throughout the southwest. In later years, he was very active in the Caravan Club. Since the late 1950s, Russ and Mary were active and loyal members of Central United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 11, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church, with Reverend Martha A. Singleterry and Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Family would prefer memorial contributions be made to Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE 87106 and the Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, 6600 Zuni SE 87108, or a charity of your choice. Fowler -- Margery T. Fowler, 76, an Albuquerque resident since 1957, died Friday, September 10, 1999. Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughters, Deborah Higgins and Nan Wilson-Goldstein, and husband, Jefferson; son, Darrel D. Holmes -- Shane C. Holmes, 41, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, September 7, 1999. he is survived by his daughter, Celina Gingrich and husband, Ryon; son, Casey Holmes; granddaughter, Rayona; and brothers, Steve Holmes and Sam Holmes, all of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shary and Jan Holmes. Mr. Holmes served in the U.S. Army. He excelled as a mechanic, working on all types of motor vehicles. Mr. Holmes enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and camping. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Leathem -- Peggy Joyce Leathem, 65, a longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 1999. Peggy was born October 31, 1933 the daughter of Harry L. and Bessie Haas Auman in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. She had been an owner of a Circle K for twelve years. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leathem and one brother, Robert Auman. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Leathem and his wife, Beverly of Albuquerque; three sisters, Mary Hahn, Loretta Keim, and Joan Santiago; one brother, Charles Auman all of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Ronnie Leathem, Jr., of Albuquerque, Cass Leathem of Kentucky, and Brittany of Albuquerque. Mcmillan -- Gordon McMillan, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, September 9, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Olivia McMillan of the family home. He was preceded in death by his son, Trevor, an Albuquerque attorney. Gordon was the son of Neil McMillan, a British Columbia mining man. They both knew and worked the rugged mining regions of British Columbia and Queen Charlotte's Islands. He graduated from the UBC in 1941 with a degree in Mining Engineering. His career covered copper mining with Britannia Mining and Smelting, Howe Sound Co. of British Columbia, Canada, Chief Consolidated of Eureka, UT, United Park City Mines of Utah, both Base metal mines, before joining Homestake Mine Co., Uranium Division in Grants as uranium was opening up. He worked there from 1957 until retirement in 1979. Gordon was a member of a number of professional and civic organizations including Kiwanis for many years and Society of Mining Engineers. He was member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church. Services will be held Monday, September 13, 1990, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Grants Memorial Park in Grants, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Monday, 9:30 a.m. until service. Nicar -- Erma Lee Nicar, 88, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend, died Tuesday, September 7, 1999. After a brief and very sudden illness, Erma peacefully transitioned from this life in the early morning hours with her family at her bedside. Erma married William H. Nicar in 1927, who preceded her in death in 1965. Erma is survived by her daughter Emily Smith and son-in-law, Jim Smith of Albuquerque; and her daughter, Elaine McClain and son-in-law, Robert McClain of Farmington, NM. Her spirit continues in the hearts of her five grandchildren, Wayne Smith of Seattle, WA; David Smith and wife, Lael Smith of Albuquerque, NM; Carol Smith and husband, Mark Fidel of Denver, CO; Jill Gillen and husband, DeRon Gillen of Red Mesa, CO; and Cindy Cochran and husband, Ron Cochran of Aztec, NM. Erma's pride and joy were her four great-grandchildren; Kyle and Kevin, sons of David and Lael Smith; and Dani and Jordan, children of Jill and DeRon Gillen. Erma is also survived by her sister, Eula Mae Clifton of Alto, TX; her brother, Carlos Murphy of San Antonio, TX; a sister-in-law, Thelma Power of Baytown, TX; a sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Nicar of Alto, TX; as well as many special friends, especially the ladies at the Palo Duro Quilting group, and her dear friend, Harry. Erma moved from her home state of Texas to Albuquerque in the spring of 1967. Erma was an avid and talented quilter, and she loved working with her flower gardens and her plants. She led a full and active life surrounded by the people she loved. Our lives are richer and so very blessed for having had the experience of knowing, loving and being loved by Erma. We are all grateful for every moment we have had with this beautiful and gracious woman. She will live on in our hearts forever. A private memorial service was led by Rev. H. Patrick Pollard, Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at the First Church of Religious Science in Albuquerque. Interment: Lubbock City Cemetery, Lubbock, TX. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Marie Bush; daughter, Terri Robin Owens Moorhead of Folsom, New Jersey; sons, Craig Ralph Owens of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Alan Harold Owens of Stamford, Connecticut; grandchildren, Shawn Ryan Moorhead, Aurora Mary Rose Owens and McKenna Elizabeth Owens. Harold was born and raised in the Castkill Mountains in Delhi, New York. He married Evelyn Marie Bush in 1953. Mr. Owens was a graduate of the Navy School of Music in Washington, D.C., served 6 years in the US Navy and was a WWII Veteran on the USS Philadelphia. He participated in all European invasions except Normandy. He served 7 years as Under Sheriff and 21 years as County Clerk of Delaware County, New York. He was organist for many years at the Baptist and Christian Missionary Alliance Churches in Delhi. Harold was a member of The Oneonta Musicians Union for many years, Delhi Firemen Association and band leader, member of the Albuquerque Jazz Society, piano player for the Palo Duro Orchestra, a long time member of the Christian Motor Cycle Association and an avid biker. He was past president of the Delhi American legion and of the New York State Association of County Clerks. Services will be held Tuesday, 12:00 p.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio NE, with Pastor Edwin Sheppson officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pellettier -- Charlotte Holley Lehmann Pellettier, 95, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Thursday, September 9, 1999, at the Valley Norte Caring Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold T. Lehmann in 1949; son, David H. Lehmann in 1964; and second husband, Joseph A. Pellettier in 1989. She is survived by her son, Richard B. Lehmann, Ph.D of Ojo Caliente, NM; and sister, Catherine Aufil. Charlotte was born in 1904 in Stigler, OK. She was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and was a dedicated teacher first in Magdalena, NM, and later for many years at Manzano Day School in Albuquerque. Graveside services will be held Monday, 3:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Poling -- Gerald (Jerry) Poling, born June 5, 1931, passed away on September 10, 1999. Graduate of New Mexico State University, retired from Atlantic Richfield 2 yrs ago in Houston. Schlick -- Monica N. Schlick, 78, died September 5, 1999, at home, after a long battle with kidney disease. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Schlick; son, Albert, both of whom she will be joining at Arlington National Cemetery, VA; and granddaughter, Mariah Stockdale. Monica is survived by her son, John J. Schlick and wife, Stephanie, of Washington, D.C. and daughter Monica Stockdale and husband, Grant; grandchildren, Andrea (13) and Ian (10), with whom she resided during the last few years. She is also survived by her sister, Mary R. Northrop, of Richmond, VA. Monica moved to Albuquerque 16 years ago following retirement from National Credit Union Administration, where she had been a Financial Examiner. Until her illness progressed, Monica was an active member of Mensa, various Knitting guilds, and the St. John's Thrift Shop. She was a great enthusiast and supporter of the performing arts. Additionally, she had been active in literacy programs, and tutoring, and other volunteer activities at her grandchildren's schools. Monica was a special woman, with the amazing ability to encourage others her entire life. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver SW, 4th and Silver, Monday, September 13, 1999 at 2:00 p.m., Officiated by Canon R. McIntyre. A reception will follow at the Cathedral, Anna Kaseman Hall.

Tilton -- Margaret Johnson Tilton, 77, a resident of Sandia Park for 51 years, passed away on September 9, 1999, at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Billy; adoring daughters; Mary Elizabeth Tilton, Malinda Tilton Dempsey and husband, Frank Dempsey; grandchildren; Kirk Grubbs, Matthew Grubbs, Christopher Dempsey, Aaron Dempsey, Dacia Dempsey and Cory Dempsey all of Sandia Park; and great granddaughter, Alyssia Seidel of Albuquerque. She also leaves her sister and best friend, Charlotte Toulouse and husband, James Toulouse; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson and brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Blanche Tilton as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her human family she leaves Geri, Lucky, Morris, Bandit, Garfield and Mom. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Charlotte Smith Johnson; her son, Corwin Tilton; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Olgilvie; and her brother, John Johnson. Margie was born in Newton, Kansas, and came to New Mexico after graduating from Topeka High School. She moved to the mountains as a young bride where she and Billy ran Tiltons Store and the US Post Office for 30 years. She raised a family, cared for a community and served hundreds of sandwiches and gallons of coffee to those fighting forest fires through the years. Margie loved music with a special fondness for opera and hymns. No stray dog or cat went homeless or hungry anywhere near Margie and Billy and this love for all God's creatures was passed on to her daughters and grandchildren. Although we take joy in her life, a huge hole is now left in the lives of her loving family and friends. In accordance with her wishes, she has been cremated with no services. Trombino -- Mario Trombino, 76, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, September 10, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Violet Trombino; son, Ray Trombino and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Sarah, Suzanne, and Ben Trombino; niece, Penny Koltik; brother, Bill Trombino and wife, Angie; sisters, Gilda Svejda, Dorothy McGrath and husband, Tom, Lucia Tyner and husband, John, Rose C. Pistilli-Colucci, and Mary Ann Heal. Mr. Trombino was preceded in death by his father, Domenic; mother, Rosaria and step-mother, Clara. Mario and Violet moved to Albuquerque from Chicago in 1964. In June of 1967 they opened Trombinos Hamburgers for two years. In 1971 they opened Penguinis Harbor before selling in 1974. Together with Violet and Raymond he opened Trattoria Trombino Restaurant in 1979. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul NE. Ubieta -- Helena E. Ubieta, 89, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 28 years, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 1999. Helena was born May 20, 1910 the daughter of Moses and Minnie Skidmore Morgan in Chatham, New York. She had worked in retail sales before retiring. Helena was preceded in death by her husband, Jose A. Ubieta; a brother, Harold Morgan; and her mother, Minnie Morgan. Helena is survived by her son, Earl Wisemann and wife, Wanda; brother, Donald Morgan and wife, Kathryn; brother-in-law, Rudolph Ubieta; two grandchildren, Glenn and Calvin Wisemann; two great-grandsons and six great-granddaughters and one great-great-granddaughter. The visitation will be Monday, September 13, 1999 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the service at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. Organist will be Louise Budagher. The interment will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 13, 1999 in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Warden -- Paula Laverta Warden, 95, passed away peacefully on September 9, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph James Warden, Sr.; son, Ralph James Warden, Jr.; and daughter, Carolyn Warden Schumaker.
