REMILLARD -- Candace (Mokie) H. Remillard, 10, born August 31, 1993, passed away on April 4, 2004. Candace is survived by her loving parents, Tina M. Perea and husband, Martin and Joseph E. Remillard-Molina and wife, Gina; her loving sisters, Kayla Esidro and boyfriend, Ramond Yazzie, Jessica Esidro, Katrina Remillard and Kathlynn Perea; her beloved grandparents, Mildred Perea, Abel Apodaca and Charlotte Remillard; her beloved aunts and uncles, Priscilla and Fernando Rodriguez, Garrett and Pauline Ohmsatte, Vinson and Tisha Ohmsatte, Vincent and Silver Ohmsatte, Thomas Morales and Yvonne Carbajal and all of their families; her special cousin, who always helped, RICHARD RODRIGUEZ; and all who knew and took care of her. Candace was a member of the Catholic Church and a student at Atrisco Elementary School. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Harry Beare. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Paraje Cemetery, Laguna, NM. PACO -- Ruben Paco, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died on Sunday, April 4, 2004. He is survived by his sons, Daniel P. Paco and Julian J. Paco and wife, Gwen, all of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Candy Paco of Albuquerque; daughter, Laura P. White of N. Richland Hills, TX; grandsons, Anthony Paco, David Paco, Johnny Darnold and Andrew Griego; granddaughters, Christie Anthony, Kimberly Paco, Michelle Paco, Amanda Paco, Kimberly White, Angelica Isenock and Georgia Griego; great-grandchildren, Megan Anthony and Makayla Paco; sisters, Katie Beauregard of Albuquerque and Maggie Trejo of Silver City. Ruben was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe, in March, 1984 and his son, Martin Paco, on February 4, 2004. Ruben was the owner of Ruben's Shoe Repair from 1965 to 2001. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Ruben was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many customers. Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. GANDARA -- Abdonsa Gandara, 93, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on March 31, 2004. She was born September 22, 1910 in Guadalupe Bravos, Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young adult she moved her family to Texas, and later New Mexico, to seek a better life and education for her children. From there flourished a large family that has maintained its New Mexican and Texan roots. Her generous, maternal spirit along with her fantastic cooking abilities, assured warmth to the heart as well as the stomach of any visitor who entered her home. She was preceded in death by three children, Francisco, Emma, and Edmundo; granddaughter, Kimberly; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by three children, daughters, Gloria Escarcega and Marta Gandara, both of Albuquerque; and son, Ricardo Gandara of Austin TX; grandchildren, Annette Mcginty and husband, Dave, Tim Archuleta and wife, Carla, John Archuleta and wife, Kristi, Joel Archuleta and wife, LeeAnn, Ricky Archuleta, Martin Gandara, Missy Pruett, Yvonne Duran, Mateo Duran and wife, Naomi, Andres Duran and fiance, Rachel, Alexandra Gandara, Victoria Gandara, and Isabella Gandara; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren. We would like to give, at this time, a special and heartfelt thank you to Lupe Madrigal, of Heritage Healthcare, who served as an exceptional caretaker and friend to Mrs. Gandara for the past four years. Rosary will be recited at the Strong-Thorne mortuary, Palm chapel, Monday, April 5, 2004, 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary church, Tuesday, April 6, 2004, 11:00 a.m., with burial following at Mt. BACA -- Maria (Dolores Lucero) Gonzales-Baca went to meet her Lord on March 31, 2004. Dolores spent much of her young life in the Chilili/LaZarra area. She made her home with her daughter, Maria "Chavela" and her "chosen" son, David. She is also survived by sons, Gilbert G. Gonzales and wife, Cecilia, Danny, and R.C. Gonzales; daughters, Nora Harley and Bill, Carol Johnson, and Jane Sedillo; stepson, Martin Baca; daughter-in-law, Rose Gonzales; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. A special friend, Hope Romero and many nephews and nieces (the Lucero's) also survive. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004 at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Chilili, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, April 6, also at the church in Chilili, with Fr. Tony Martinez as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lucero Private Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Gonzales, Jr., Tony Gonzales, Antonio "Tony" Casaus, Manuel Gonzales, David Johnson, Dominic Gonzales, Manuel Sedillo and John (Andrew K.) Martinez. TRUJILLO -- Mr. Jesse O. Trujillo, 43, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 3, 2004 with his family at his side. Mr. Trujillo is survived by his loving wife, Francine Trujillo; two daughters, Jessica Madrigal, and Antoinette Trujillo; one son, Jesse Trujillo Jr.; mother, Eloyda Trujillo; grandmother, Mary Ann Lopez; five sisters, Mary Ann Sanchez and husband, Chris, Lilly Trujillo, Lupe Trujillo, Julie Gordon and husband, Anthony, and Martha Chavez; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Trujillo was a member of the Catholic church. A visitation for Jesse will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Eileen Montoya. HENDREN -- Felix "Phil" Hendren, 91, died Thursday, April 1, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Julie Hendren of Albuquerque; children, Lonn Hendren and wife, Jacqui of Hayward, CA; Lucille Hendren Fort of Albuquerque; David Hendren and wife, Flora Marie of Albuquerque; Evangeline Hendren of Albuquerque; Sylvia Cannon and husband, Joe of Colorado Springs, CO; Carl Hendren and wife, Helen of Albuquerque; Kenneth Hendren of Albuquerque; Martin Hendren and wife, Diane of Garland, TX; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Alarcon and husband, Orlando. Phil is retired from Sandia National Laboratories. He attended Calvary Chapel. Phil was a beloved husband, father, Big Dad and brother. MARLITT -- Dorothy G. Marlitt, born in Long Beach, CA and long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004. She was preceded in death in 1974 by her husband, Bob, a retired naval officer. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Marlene Elkins and husband, Neil, of St. George, UT; son, Douglas Marlitt and wife, Deanna, of San Martin, CA; and granddaughter Rebecca Marlitt of Santa Clara, CA. As a Navy wife, Dorothy raised her family in many worldwide locals. She also worked in these many locations in jobs that included various secretarial responsibilities and nursing assistant duties. In Albuquerque, Dorothy volunteered her time at many organizations. For over 11 years she volunteered at Catholic Social Services as a driver and coordinator. She also sewed many items of children's clothing and tote bags which she donated to charity. Dorothy also volunteered at Meals on Wheels and tutored children under the Oasis Program and adults through TVI. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing Bridge with her friends in Albuquerque. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 3, 11:00 am, at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to charities of choice. Interment will take place in Long Beach, CA next to her husband.
