Ruben Paco, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1965, died on Sunday, April 4, 2004. He is survived by his sons, Daniel P. Paco and Julian J. Paco and wife, Gwen, all of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Candy Paco of Albuquerque; daughter, Laura P. White of N. Richland Hills, TX; grandsons, Anthony Paco, David Paco, Johnny Darnold and Andrew Griego; granddaughters, Christie Anthony, Kimberly Paco, Michelle Paco, Amanda Paco, Kimberly White, Angelica Isenock and Georgia Griego; great-grandchildren, Megan Anthony and Makayla Paco; sisters, Katie Beauregard of Albuquerque and Maggie Trejo of Silver City. Ruben was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe, in March, 1984 and his son, Martin Paco, on February 4, 2004. Ruben was the owner of Ruben's Shoe Repair from 1965 to 2001. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Ruben was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many customers. Services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
