Montoya -- Donald D. Montoya, age 51. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 7, 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis Cathedral. Honorary pallbearers will be Enrique Miguel Montoya Jr., Mel Prada, Marcos Montoya, John Vigil, Maurice Prada, Dennis Murphy, Joe Gutierrez, Ed Chavez, Jeff Brennan, Benjie Bowles, Art Gonzales, David Garcia and Fred Garcia. Interment will be private for family. A reception will follow the service at St. Anne Parish Hall. Seidel -- Bernard"Bernie" Seidel, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, February 2, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Anne Seidel of Albuquerque; a sister, Florence Schwaber of Baltimore, MD; a nephew, David Schwaber of Baltimore, MD; and a niece, Toba Schwaber of Philadelphia, PA. Bernard had a long career as a hat manufacturer and distributor in New York, before moving to New Mexico. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE, on Monday, February 7, 2000 at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UNMH Hospital Foundation. Anne would also like to invite all those in attendance to remain at Aspen immediately following services for a time of reception and refreshment.

Arka -- Leona A. Arka, beloved aunt, sister and friend to many, died after a valiant battle with time. She is survived by a sister, Norma Horst of Albuquerque; a niece, Merideth Barroso (Francisco) of Fairfax, VA, a niece, Linda Clawson (David) of Albuquerque, a niece, Kelle Sessions of Nampa, ID; a great-nephew, Chris Clawson (Tina) of Albuquerque, a great-nephew, Jason Clawson of Pasadena, CA; other family members in Chicago and many friends. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 25, 1914 and lived there until she moved to Albuquerque in 1979. She was a gentle soul with a heart of gold who saw the good in everyone. We will all miss her. No memorial service is planned. Donations in her name may be sent to the Presbyterian Hospice Inpatient Unit, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Arnold -- Henry Arnold, age 79, and a resident of New Mexico for 45 years died Saturday, February 5, 2000 in a local hospital following an illness. Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Jo Arnold of Albuquerque; three sons, Tommy Arnold of San Diego, CA, Michael Arnold of Laguna Beach, CA and David Arnold of Albuquerque. He is also survived by one sister, Betty Ledbetter of Carrollton, TX; two brothers, W.T. Arnold of Las Vegas, NV and Denson Arnold of Farmington, NM; and six grandchildren. Viewing and Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2000 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, with Pastor Larry Pierson officiating. Palmer -- Buford F. Palmer, 72, of Santa Fe, passed away February 4, 2000. Born May 20, 1927 in Raton, NM, he grew up in Albuquerque and lived in Santa Fe for the past twelve years. Buford was a member of Christian Life Fellowship Church. He is survived by his brother, David Palmer and wife, Marilyn; sister, Anne Walraven and husband, Wayne; three nephews; six nieces; and many other family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved him. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 6, 2000 at Christian Life Fellowship in Santa Fe. Starr -- Lloyd P. Starr, passed away early Saturday, February 5, 2000. He was preceded in death by his only daughter, Sharon Morris and left his wife of 59 years, Hazel J. Starr. He leaves one brother; five nephews; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII. He fought in Germany for two years in battle and in 1946 was awarded the Bronze Star Medal from the U.S. Army. He was a Ham Radio operator and served with A.C.R.A. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Rev. David Red officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
