Lloyd P. Starr, passed away early Saturday, February 5, 2000. He was preceded in death by his only daughter, Sharon Morris and left his wife of 59 years, Hazel J. Starr. He leaves one brother; five nephews; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII. He fought in Germany for two years in battle and in 1946 was awarded the Bronze Star Medal from the U.S. Army. He was a Ham Radio operator and served with A.C.R.A. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. at Del Norte Baptist Church, 5800 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Rev. David Red officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
