Leona A. Arka, beloved aunt, sister and friend to many, died after a valiant battle with time. She is survived by a sister, Norma Horst of Albuquerque; a niece, Merideth Barroso (Francisco) of Fairfax, VA, a niece, Linda Clawson (David) of Albuquerque, a niece, Kelle Sessions of Nampa, ID; a great-nephew, Chris Clawson (Tina) of Albuquerque, a great-nephew, Jason Clawson of Pasadena, CA; other family members in Chicago and many friends. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 25, 1914 and lived there until she moved to Albuquerque in 1979. She was a gentle soul with a heart of gold who saw the good in everyone. We will all miss her. No memorial service is planned. Donations in her name may be sent to the Presbyterian Hospice Inpatient Unit, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
