Casias -- Lawrence R. Casias, 36, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 16, 2002. Lawrence is the beloved son to Mrs. Rebecca (Timia) Gurule. He is also survived by one sister, Belinda Guevara and husband, Robert; two brothers, Gabriel Gurule and wife, Elena, Lewis Casias and wife, Tanya; his great-aunt, Mela Garcia; niece, Victoria Gurule; three nephews, Brian Gurule, Marcus Guevara and Lorenzo Guevara; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lawrence is preceded in death by his father, Richard Casias; and grandmother, Fidela Perea. Lawrence was a member of the Catholic Church. A Visitation will be Tuesday evening after 6:30 p.m. at the San Jose de Los Duranes Catholic Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose de Los Duranes Catholic Mission by Monsignor Leo Lucero, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Salo Sanchez, Angelo Sanchez, Martin Perea, Brian Gurule, Robert Guevara and Henry Arellano. Nieto -- Mary A. Nieto, 56, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on March 4, 2002. Mary is the beloved wife of Phillip Padilla. Mary is also survived by two daughters, Mary Nieto and Hilario Garduno, Lisa Padilla and John Aragon; two sons, Danny A. Nieto and Venus Sandoval, Joseph P. Garcia and wife, Theresa; two sisters, Jessie Abeyta and husband, Ernie, Gloria Lopez and husband, Andy; seven brothers, Sonny Nieto and Adela, Henry Nieto, Leroy Nieto, Barney Nieto, Ray Nieto, Marcos Nieto and Danny Nieto; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Rosendo and Eva Nieto; and a brother, Louie Nieto. Mrs. Nieto was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday evening after 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Sedillo -- Juan Ray Sedillo, 41, passed away December 2, 2001 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his sons, Juan Ray III and Joshua Sedillo; daughters, Jasmine and Avelina Sedillo; parents, Juan and Ordilia Sedillo; brothers, Edward Sedillo and his wife, Elena, David Sedillo, Ernest Sedillo and his wife, Lisa, Patricio Sedillo and wife, Anna; sisters, Viola Ortiz and her husband, Hector, Isabel Chavez and her husband, Martin and Pauline Ortega and her husband, Alfonso; many nieces and nephews. Johnnie Ray will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Abeyta -- Mrs. Sylvia Abeyta, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 26, 2001. Mrs. Abeyta is the beloved wife of 46 1/ 2 years to Santiago Abeyta. She is also survived by two daughters, Theresa Abeyta and fiance, Elmer Mora, Sharon Ortega and fiance, Jesse Plaster; her father, Benjamin Ortega; four sisters, Mary Ann Chavez and husband, Paul, Benigna Rochester and husband, Dee, Bernadette Kluding and husband Mike and Irene Zamora; five brothers, Bonifacio Ortega, Fermin Ortega and wife, Jenny, Martin Ortega, Ernest Ortega and wife, JoAnn and Alex Ortega and wife, Lorraine; six grand children, Eric, Eli, Alexzandra, Joseph, Desi and Dino; one great-grandchild, Aalyssa. Mrs. Abeyta is preceded in death by her mother, Margarita Ortega; a daughter, Cynthia Abeyta and a brother Patricio Ortega. Mrs. Abeyta was a member of the Catholic Church. Romero -- Mrs. Teresita (Terry) L. Romero, 77, born in San Antonio, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 12, 2001. Mrs. Romero is survived by her three daughters, Beatrice Gutierrez and husband, Frank, Elizabeth Maes and husband, Victor and Rose Marie Parker and husband, Matthew; three sons, Joe Romero and wife, Jenny, Albert Romero and wife, Maritina and Richard Romero; three sisters, Isabel Ortega, Mela Patterson and Chris Hedric; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Regina Lopez, father, Ramon Lopez and a brother, Raymond Lopez. Mrs. Romero was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation for Mrs. Romero will be Sunday afternoon after 2:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel to be recieted Gabriella Nieto. She is survived by her parents, Horacio and Eloisa Nieto; daughter, Monique Perchez; son, Luis Perchez, Jr.; Fianceé, Luis Perchez, Sr.; sisters, Patricia Reyes, Sandra Ortega, Melissa Pino and husband, Michael, Denise Nieto and Tomas Gutierrez; grandparents, Alfonso and Mela Nieto; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitation for Francine will be held Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, also in the Mortuary Chapel. Lucero -- Luciana M. (Lucy) Lucero, 84, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2000. She was the wife of the late Desiderio Lucero. She is survived by her son, Joe F. Lucero; granddaughter, Debbie Otero; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Luciana Otero, Selena Euselia Otero, and Newton L. Henley III; her caregiver, niece and godchild, Fidela Garcia Trejuque and husband, Joseph; her sisters, Fabiola Ortega; Leonela Perea; Mr. and Mrs. Porfilo Garcia; all her godchildren, extended family and long-life friends. Pallbearers will be Nestor Muniz, Robert Ortiz, Martin Muniz, Martin Benevidez, Victor Sedillo and Andres Garcia. Cordova -- Gerald Cordova, 48, beloved husband and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 2, 2000. Gerald was a resident of Albuquerque. He was born in Colorado to the late Albert and Evelyn Cordova. He was a parishioner of Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Cordova Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Deborah Cordova of the family home; one brother, Paul Cordova and wife, Joan; three sisters, Ruth Selfridge, Gloria Ortega and husband, Louis all of Albuquerque, and Linda Cordova of Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephew and other relatives. Gerald will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on 8th and Stover, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, with Fr. Dan as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
