Koenig -- Hulda"Anne" Koenig, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for 39 years, died Tuesday, September 29, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Eugene A. Koenig of Albuquerque; daughter, Melissa Barnett and husband, Jim of Albuquerque; son, Ted Koenig and wife, Dorothy of Belen, NM; daughter, Melinda Hanson and husband, Brian of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Andrew Burleson, Jennifer Burleson, Leanne Hanson, and Joshua Hanson; step-grandchildren, Skye Barnett, Krystal Whitworth, William Whitworth III, Tammy Palmer, Michelle Palmer, Crystal Palmer, Jeremy Huckins, Kaden Palacio and Lexie Palacio; mother, Josephine M. Nelson of Salina, KS; brothers, Rev. Vince Nelson and wife, Dorothy of Mesquite, TX and Rev. John R. Nelson and wife, Betty Lou of Singapore; and sister, Virginia Pillar and husband, Charles of Brookville, KS. She was preceded in death by her father, George A. Nelson. Anne was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, daughter, and sister. She put a lot of her time into Koenig's, the family business. Mom was a 30 year Lobo basketball fan. Services will be held Monday, October 5, 1998, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Vince Nelson and Rev. John R. Nelson officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Uhde -- Lisa Christine Uhde, 24, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away September 28, 1998. She is survived by her parents, Gary Uhde of New Jersey and Pamela Gray of Chicago; grandmothers, Phyllis Uhde and Phoebe Denton, both of Albuquerque; a brother, Jessee Uhde of Las Cruces, NM; and numerous aunts and uncles. Danny Valdez and wife, Nancy of Denver, CO, Dale Valdez and wife, Norma, and Gilbert Valdez and wife, Arlene both of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Starr -- Evelyn E. Starr, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, died on September 27, 1998. Evelyn was born in Hebron, Nebraska and was the daughter of Hazel and Herbert Bruce. She is survived by her husband of 51 wonderful years, Bill; a daughter, Suzanne Burrough and husband, Charles of Redding, CA; and three grandchildren, Brynne and Bronwyn Burrough and granddaughter, Kathy Faasau and husband, Mati Faasau; also great-grandchildren, Charles and Robert Faasau, all in Redding, CA. Evelyn was a volunteer for Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. It is suggested, that in lieu of flowers, any contributions be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Unit, P.O. Box 26666. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on September 30, 2:30 p.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. Rev. Dr. Leonard Gillingham will officiate.

Asquith -- Elsie W. Asquith, passed away in Sacramento on September 25, 1998 at the age of 95. She was born on August 24, 1903. She was the loving mother of Allan Asquith; devoted grandmother of Michael, Charles, Matthew, and Christine; and great-grandmother of eight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. Mrs. Asquith was a 30 year employee of the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. After retiring she became active in the community, volunteering many hours at the Merced Community Medical Center, and playing with the Offbeats Band. Friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, September 28, 1998, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a service on Tuesday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m., all at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.

Packenham -- Charlie Packenham, 55, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Thursday, September 24, 1998 at his home in Cedar Crest, NM. He was an Industrial Arts teacher until his retirement in 1994 and an accomplished wood craftsman throughout his life. This loving husband, father, and grandfather is survived by his wife, Cathy, also of Cedar Crest; his daughters, Niki Courter and husband, Greg of Las Cruces and Char Castro and husband, Bobby of Roswell; and his 14-month old grandson, Quinlyn Charles Courter. Rust -- Harold Rust, 86, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died Sunday, September 20, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Rust of Albuquerque; daughter, Sue Tenbroeck and husband, Charles of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Donna DeSousa and husband, Roy of California, Chuck Tenbroeck of Albuquerque, Ruth Sullivan and husband, Mike of Roswell, C.W. Rust II of Oak Ridge, TN, Glenda Faataofe and husband, Fea of Washington, Christine Mierow and husband, Steve of Dallas, TX, and David Rust of Colorado Springs, CO; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brothers, Donald Rust and wife, Alice of Ada, OK and Tom Rust and wife, Carol of Bend, OR; numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; and sisters-in-law, Edith Milton of Vernon, TX and Grace Hutchins of Hurst, TX. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ramona Mae Rust; son, Carroll Wayne Rust; brothers, Eugene and Everett Rust; and sister, Lola Smith. Mr. Rust was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He will be missed by all. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date.
