Evelyn E. Starr, a resident of Albuquerque for 28 years, died on September 27, 1998. Evelyn was born in Hebron, Nebraska and was the daughter of Hazel and Herbert Bruce. She is survived by her husband of 51 wonderful years, Bill; a daughter, Suzanne Burrough and husband, Charles of Redding, CA; and three grandchildren, Brynne and Bronwyn Burrough and granddaughter, Kathy Faasau and husband, Mati Faasau; also great-grandchildren, Charles and Robert Faasau, all in Redding, CA. Evelyn was a volunteer for Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. It is suggested, that in lieu of flowers, any contributions be made to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Unit, P.O. Box 26666. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on September 30, 2:30 p.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. Rev. Dr. Leonard Gillingham will officiate.
